Pooja (Lakshmi Manchu) and Rahul (Sreedhar Rao) join their ten year old son Bunny (Prem Babu) in a boarding school. As time passes, the rabbit is expelled from school for his strange behavior.It goes back and continues to wreak havoc with its uniqueness. A deeply upset Pooja took him to a psychiatrist (Indraja) for treatment. After going through the medical records of rabbit, the doctor suggests a single therapy. What is therapy? What rabbit problems in reality? She will be cured? Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points: -

major advantage of the film is how officials presented how parents should treat their children in the age and time of day. The entire star cast did a wonderful job and is perfect for their characters. Indraja is fit in a mature role and brings a touch to the filmLakshmi Manchu still impresses once a balanced act. His performance especially in the thrilling moments is very good. Prem master who has the lead role is very good in his character. The way he highlights all her psychological problems is commendable. Sreedhar is good as husband hen.
Interval block is pretty good and puts in place the foundations of a second half decent. Some horror sequences that are presented in the second half are also impressive. First ten minutes of the film are pretty racy and were well executed.

Negative points: -

major drawback of the film is the basic execution. Although the director has chosen a very interesting subject and principle, he could not tell the film convincingly. Except for the first ten minutes and the interval block, there is not much happens in the first half. History does not move forward and all scenes are driven to the base.Screenplay of the film is yet another disadvantage that large scenes are not raised correctly. climax of the film does not have the grip. All the scenes meanwhile seem forced and do not convince the public.Edition of this film is bad enough and not going with the flow of the film. Budugu many logical errors that many scenes were not designed properly.

Technical aspects:-

Labour camera film is quite good and enhances all scenes with the necessary effect. Said earlier, the editing is bad enough. The partition Sai Karthik is very good and complete film student. His background score during the second half managed to impress a lot of time. Coming to the Director Manmohan, he chose an interesting point, but could not communicate properly. He only concentrated on the limited scenes and left all the film itself.

Verdict:-

In Budugu all that is good in bits. Interesting concept, performance Lakshmi Manchu and excitement in the second half are essential assets. On the other hand, the lack of appropriate narrative and a first bore spoils half the flow of the film. All who love thrillers can try this film if you have nothing else to do. Rest can take easily.

This event prompts the parents to install a fill blown,always-on security camera system in the house. Five motion detector equippedcameras are placed in strategically located places around the home one in theentryway, two in the kitchen, one overlooking the pool and one in the nursery. Every night after the family goes to bed theaudience cycles through all 5 cameras. Nothing happens on camera in those firstfew nights.

Gradually during the days Kristi begins to experience somefunny, then strange occurrences doors opening and closing on their own .window shades suddenly snapping up . pots falling off hooks, etc. Her husbandDan is skeptical even though he can see these events played back on camera. Heoffers up logical reasons to explain these occurrences. Before too long thingsbegin happening that are not so easy to explain away.

Then suddenly one evening something is captured on one ofthe security cameras while the family is sleeping. It happens quickly and thenits over. But it definitely occurred. Then the next night something elseoccurs that we the audience can see, but which is unknown to the sleepingfamily.

Director Todd Williams and writer Michael R. Perry thenbegin our decent into the world of terror. Each night the audience findsthemselves scanning all four corners of each security camera, looking for thenext happening. We watch as the pranks slowly turn from mischievous toworrisome to horrific.

Paranormal Activity 2 is reminiscent of the 1975 movie Jawsin that in the beginning much of the chills occur off screen, such as thefamily dog growling at something out of site, or the baby Hunter seeming tostare at something in the room that no one else can see. The danger of thesituation is initially only hinted at.

Then the safety of the daylight hours is shattered in adevastating way, and all heck breaks loose.

Paranormal Activity 2 is a well made, well acted horrormovie that is sure to have audiences talking about the violent and terrifying endingfor years to come.

Next figure out a monthly advertising budget and spend it wisely. This is by far the most import advice I can give. Your website is not going to shoot to the top of the search engines or miraculously develop visitors all on its own. While we are on the topic of search engines, keep in mind that a person on the web only has a 4% chance of winding up on your website through a search engine. Most likely they will find your site while browsing on another website. Your best bet, if you can afford it, is to hire a reputable firm to promote your website. Nazarova has been very busy woman. Besides filmmaking, the world of music has been blessed with her many talents via some fine jazz and pop vocal albums. This is her first American film role.

Natalia is charming in this film and anyone that watches it will surely fall in love with her character. The classic underdog theme makes a good storyline and is a sure-fire hook for those that like movies full of the emotion and the story of peoples lives. For her American debut, this is a fabulous effort. This young lady is star material and I would hope that someone influential in Hollywood will have sense enough to give her a chance as a leading lady in a major motion picture, I am sure she could handle it quite well. I became very engrossed in this picture and enjoyed it entirely. There was fine acting in this film; all of the characters were true to life, which made it easy to become a part of the story, as if you were right there living it.

The story of the film begins with a TV newscaster explaining how gorgeous and eligible Russian girls are looking for an opportunity to come to America and marry any willing American man, then the scene changes to the bar The Dirty Shame located in Paradise Michigan. A group of local men are in the bar feeling good and decide to check into the mail order bride phenomena. Chick (Randall Godwin) masterminds the execution of the mail order bride for their friend Jake (Vincent Angelini), who is doing time in jail for drunk driving. The expectant bride Viktoria, is delivered at his homecoming party at the bar.

When the big moment arrives, Jake comes strolling into the bar and Viktoria stands up an introduces herself with a big beautiful smile and Jake takes one look at her and shrugs his shoulders, sits at the bar, and starts drinking and telling stories. Jake has no clue what this is all about, he is taken home later in the evening falling down drunk, thinking that the girl is a present for the night from his drinking buddies. That night Viktoria leaves in distress and Reenie (multiple award winning actress Tantoo Cardinal), the only barmaid at The Dirty Shame, sees her walking down the road crying. Many more life situations and drama develop thereafter.

The film tells a unique version of the American dream in small town America, following several twists and turns, the story ends unexpectedly, which I found most pleasant and satisfying. Natalia performs several of the songs in both Russian and English on the films soundtrack. Look for it about June 29, on DVD and Video. Rated PG-13

How is his father's death? and how Prudhvi not solve all its problems? For answers to these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.

How the hero character was designed is good. exciting story in the second half and the last twenty minutes will excite the public decently. The background music is another attraction of this film. Bang range is also well executed.Pradeep Nandan acted with great zeal and brought great energy levels throughout the film. The female lead, Khanesh Chandran also does a fair job and is especially good in romantic scenes. Avinash manages to make a few laughs in his character Mr. Theif. The support team also still performed to the best of their abilities.

Negative points:

major drawback of this film is the scene of vengeance format that has been said in many films. The director has unnecessarily dragged the film for two hours and a half is testing the patience of the audience. The scenario is not convincing and confuses the public. the story line is quite predictable and lack of interesting elements.Many characters in the film needed a justification. songs lost in the first half is also a big disadvantage. The character of the wicked is below par and was not housebroken.

Technical aspects:-

Officer Pradeep Nandan is below par, and the concept he has chosen is also quite old. It leaves too much idle point and makes it quite confusing for the public. The music is pretty decent and so is the cinematography. The way the night effect scenes were presented looks good. Dialogues are simple and the production values are very good.

Verdict:-

Overall, Jagannatakam is a complete film script based. A second half decent and exciting last twenty minutes are certain assets. But a lack luster first half, unnecessary songs and comedy forced spoil the flow of the film. All those who like to watch different movies can give this film a shot if they have nothing else to do.

Having fallen in love with him Victoria is now busy with helping him find the potion to set him free and turn him back to his humanity. That's in her best interests after all.

After a quick run through town and the local wise woman's house, you'll spend much of the game in the witch Celeste's castle, finding the keys Damon needs to unlock his salvation.

You will have to play in turns switching between Damon and Victoria. That is because each of them is better at certain activities unlike the other one. Like Damon doesn't do well with sunshine, and Victoria isn't that good at flying way up.

The hidden object parts happen only when a crow brings you a list of items to find. The list usually gives you twelve items to find. Some of those are multiple and some include some kind of action.

The game features really nice puzzles to solve. Some of them can be skipped though. Sometimes it is not that clear what you are to do next, but isn't brain bending challenges like that is what the genre fans are looking for?

The game relies on collecting various bits and bobs cogs for the clock, flowers for a potion, coins for a machine abit too much, but does an excellent job of mixing up tasks so that it never feels repetitious.

The graphics, sounds, music, game story and game play make up for a good game, beautiful and challenging.

The build up to the film's release has been intense to say the least, and legions of new fans have come to the story through the run-up to the film, discovering the graphic novel that has been so respected for so long. The Watchmen graphic novel was originally published in 12 individual issues by DC Comics in the 1980s, and was a critical success, but it wasn't until the story was collected together into trade paperback format that the Watchmen legend truly began to spread.

That graphic novel became the most respected and celebrated piece of comics storytelling of all time, ranking higher than all of the big name characters and franchises. This was a true one-off, a masterpiece of writing and art that has stood the test of time and should be enjoyed for generations to come. The book, created by comics legend and infamous writer Alan Moore, with incredible art by Dave Gibbons, brought the idea of darker comics to a wider audience. Where many darker, more dramatic hero titles had previously wallowed in indie comics obscurity, now audiences wanted tales with more bite.

And now here is the film adaptation. For many years it was said to be unfilmable, impossible to bring to the big screen, but after many rights issues the property was made by Warner Brothers, directed by Zack Snyder and features a cast that is utterly perfect for the characters they portray. It is the holy grail of comic book films, and to the surprise of many and the thrill of many others, the most important comic book series and graphic novel in history has become the greatest comic book feature film ever made.

With incredible production design thoughout, exquisite editing and a cast that has fully grasped the nature of the characters they play, this interpretation of WATCHMEN is incredible. It may have changed the story a little, and notoriously changed the ending, but it is as close to the real thing as it is possible to get onscreen.

The task that lay ahead? Someone must now create something just as incredible for the next generation to enjoy, but with Watchmen's strength and influence impossible to ignore, it will be some time yet before we see anything that makes such an impact on so many areas of the entertainment industry.

The Friday the 13th TV series ran for just three seasons, starting with the fall 1987 lineup and ending in 1990. The original name for the series was The 13th Hour, but executives changed the name to draw in an audience with the more familiar name of the popular slasher movie series hoping to develop a fan base from those who were hoping to get their Jason Voorhies fix. Rumors persisted throughout the entire 72 episode run that there would be some link from television series to the movies of that name, but it never came to pass. One of the most persistent of these rumors was that Jasons hockey mask from the movies would be one of the cursed items. That rumor suggested that the mask would be the final item that had to be found, but that was never the case.

The basic premise of the Friday the 13th TV series was simple: a man named Lewis Vendredi was supposed to sell a number of cursed items for the Devil but broke the deal. After his death, the antique shop and its contents were passed on to his niece and her distant cousin. The pair and the dead mans strange friend try to get all of the cursed items back so that they are not harming people- each item must be found, returned and then taken back to a special vault.

Although this TV series had a relatively short run, it is still occasionally shown as part of sci-fi channel special events, and it was also released as a box set in 2008 with the release of the first season on a six disc set. The third and final season was released in 2009 as a five disc set containing all 20 episodes.

Some fans of the movies were angered by the use of the name by the Friday the 13th TV Series; however, others were more generous with the choice of the name and became solid fans. It never gained widespread popularity, however, and remained mostly a niche show with a small but loyal market share. It still does well when shown on various venues with several episodes being deemed fan favorites.

This TV series was ambitious to the point of pushing the envelope of acceptability in terms of both the level of violence and sexuality it showed on the screen. However, what the Friday the 13th TV series was effective in, was earning award nominations, including two Emmy nods for Visual and Graphic Effects as well as others.

But that's pretty much what we do to ourselves when we use a traditional goal setting program.

Of course the results aren't quite as bloody but they are as grisly: failure, stress, let down, headaches, insomnia, etc.

Instead of four horses pulling frantically in four different directions, we usually have four major parts of our brains doing the same thing.

Those four parts are:

- the left brain
- the right brain
- the midbrain
- the brainstem.

And each of these parts controls a major aspect of us.

The left brain is responsible for our conscious awareness and our thoughts.

The right brain is responsible for our creativity, all sorts of rhythmic behavior, putting together memory into useable chunks, etc. And it does what it's always done in a particular situation.

The midbrain is responsible for our emotional energy - the energy that powers us in getting things done and in creating memories. And it does what it's always done in a particular situation.

The brainstem is responsible for physical stimulus-response, for jerking our hand away from a hot stove, for hitting the tennis ball, for jerking our car away from an intruding other driver. And it does what it's always done in a particular situation.

When these four parts aren't in agreement on an objective and how to achieve it, failure is almost certain.

And that's the case with traditional goal setting systems because they deal with only one of those parts, the conscious mind.

It's something like asking someone who speaks only English, another only French, another only Japanese and another only Russian to perform a job that requires a high level of coordination among the four of them to be successful.

The result is chaos, something like the old silent movies.

Or like a football team where each player is running a different play.

Well, that's the case with traditional goal setting systems because only the left brain understands words. The right brain understands visualization and pattern, the midbrain understands real or imagined emotions and the brainstem understands real or imagined physical behavior.

That's why failure is so common.

But there is an alternative.

It's this: translate your objective into the different languages each part of the brain can understand.

Once you have translated your written objective and modified it so that all four parts of the brain are in agreement, then you have made major progress toward successfully achieving your goal.

The second step you need to take to successfully achieve an objective revolves around the fact that essentially no one can maintain a conscious focus on anything for more than 5 seconds.

Yet most traditional goal setting systems tell you to keep focused on what you want to achieve. That can't happen. Conscious long-term focus is an impossibility.

But when the unconscious mind is focused on something - such as keeping your heart beating and blood pumping, your body weight reasonably constant or breathing - that something happens. Otherwise, we'd all be dead.

Well, that kind of unconscious focus is required to consistently achieve challenging objectives, too.

The third step to successfully achieve your objective is to level out the unconscious road blocks that, otherwise, make accomplishing things impossible. Since these roadblocks operate
without our conscious awareness -- like asthma, headaches, and maintaining a constant body weight when you consciously want to lose weight -- no level of conscious will power can overcome them.

But when properly instructed by the conscious mind, the unconscious will instantly change its programming from opposing a result that you want to support its achievement.

If you accomplish all three of these steps - translation, focus, and removal of road blocks - then you have almost a 100 percent chance of consistently achieving your seemingly impossible objectives.

How many times a week do you hear, "Mom, I need a new pair
of shoes!" or "Dad, can I have money to go to a movie?" Not
to mention the cost of school supplies, braces, and college
tuition that haunt every parent. If you're like the
average parent, you probably spend several thousand dollars
a year providing for all the needs and wants of your
children. But unlike most Americans, if you are a home-based
business owner, you can make those thousands work for you.

The IRS allows you to hire your school-age children as part-
time employees for your business. Then, you pay them a
reasonable salary for their work that is then used to cover
all their expenses. And their salary is completely tax
deductible. Plus, as employees, their medical expenses can
also count as tax deductions.

For example, if you have two children, one age 10 and
another age 17, you can officially and legally hire them to
work for you. Perhaps the ten year old can clean up your
home office or sort mail while the older child could answer
phones, handle filing, or type correspondence. No matter
what responsibilities you elect for your offspring, make
sure to prepare a formal employment agreement between you,
as business owner, and your child. Make sure your
agreement includes a list of duties, the compensation
arrangement, and any special details you want to have in
writing. In addition to the official agreement, you can
create a job title and description for your new "employee".
Not only will this help to audit-proof the deduction, it
will also clearly spell out for your child what his or her
responsibilities are.

There are some restrictions, however. For instance, the
child's yearly income (according to 2001 tax regulations)
can be no more than $4550. Additionally, the pay rate must
be comparable to similar services offered by professionals.
If you are paying your child for vacuuming or dusting, you
should contact cleaning services in your area for a written
estimate and base his or her wage accordingly. Also, the
child must maintain a record of his or her work. The log
must include the date, type of work, time worked, and
hourly rate. The last restriction is that the child must be
paid what he or she earns. So you will need to open
separate checking accounts for the children in which to
deposit their salaries. All the expenses then can be
covered from that account, including entertainment, clothes,
school expenses, or even a car or college tuition.

The IRS also allows all medical benefits provided by a
business to its employees to be claimed as tax deductions,
so if your child is your employee and you have to pay for
his or her braces that hefty expenses can be completely tax
deductible. Even if your child is covered by your spouse's
insurance plan, you can claim all co-payments or non-
covered medical charges. There are no minimum or maximum
levels either: every dollar you pay out can be counted as a
tax deduction. However, your policy for covering these
expenses must be in writing and copies of all receipts and
bills should be maintained for your business records.

Besides the obvious benefits of being able to write-off
these costs, hiring your child as an employee can have
other positive effects. You will save time because of the
additional help your new staff will provide. While they
handle the menial duties, you can concentrate on running a
successful business and earning more money. And with your
children on the staff and on the payroll, they - and your
spouse - will be more likely to support your venture.
There's also no better way to teach your children the value
of money than by having them work for it and get Uncle
Sam to pay for it.

the Internet, uneducated web site owners, and those filled
with dreams of getting rich quick. That phrase is far from the
truth when it comes to your web site.

Many factors and variables come into play when trying to get
people to come to your web site, one of which is your choice
of keywords.

If youre using Microsoft FrontPage or a similar software
package to create your web pages, guess what? Keywords,
page titles, descriptions, and META TAGS are NOT
automatically put on your pages. These important variables
may be missing from your pages unless you enter the
information yourself.

Even worse, if youve hired someone to design your site and
pages for you and they dont know how important these
variables are and arent including themno one will find you,
your services, your productsno sales, no business.

The key to STARTING your field of dreams is to determine
the keywords people are using to find your web site OR the
number one keywords that are getting your competitors the
top rankings in the search pages. Please remember, this is
just the beginning, you have a lot more to learn, such as
where to place the keywords on your web pages, how many,
and much much more.

In turn, each search engine has it's own set of criteria or
requirements to enable your web site to be ranked near the

Chasen's restaurant in old Hollywood was a legendary hangout were movie stars expected to dine in peaceful private booths on barbecued chili without putting up with celebrity gawkers. There were occasional breaks in the quiet. Jimmy Stewart's bachelor party was thrown there complete with midgets clad only in diapers jumping out of cakes. Humphrey Bogart and Peter Lorre got drunk one night and stole the restaurant's safe, carrying it out onto the street until they were caught. WC Fields once caused his girlfriend Carlotta Monti great anguish by dining at Chasens with another woman. She called up nearby Cedar Sinai Hospital and told them that the comedian was having a heart attack, resulting in an ambulance coming to fetch him in the middle of dinner. And in 1938 the conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the long haired, flamboyant Leopold Stokowski, in town to carry on a discreet love affair with Greta Garbo, had his dinner interrupted by a note from a waiter saying that Walt Disney wanted to meet him.

The cartoon maker and the maestro were surprised that both were fans of each other. As always Walt saw meetings with talent as an opportunity to push the creative envelope. In fifteen years of running his animation studio, Disney had used music to supplement gags and stories, now he wanted to reverse the formula. While recently attending a symphony at the Hollywood Bowl he had been enthralled listening to The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Paul Dukas. What if it were combined with a state of the art, twenty minute animated cartoon? It could raise animation to a higher art form and introduce new audiences to classical music who had never appreciated it before. Stokowski loved the idea so much he volunteered to conduct it for free. He also suggested several other pieces that could be presented with animation as well. And so Fantasia (1940) was born.

Disney's other reason to make Sorcerer was to save the career of Mickey Mouse. A superstitious man, who like many in Hollywood consulted fortune tellers, he felt that if Mickey died, his whole organization would go down with him. The problem was that Mickey like many stars was now type cast. He had gone from being mischievous to bland. It had gotten to the point where Walt would get letters of complaint every time the little guy would misbehave on the screen. He had been surpassed in popularity by the mean-spirited but more versatile Donald Duck. Walt also felt that the high pitched voice that he himself provided for the mouse was not exciting for audiences to hear, his role in Fantasia would be silent. Disney remained Mickey's strongest advocate, despite his artist's suggestions the four foot rodent was a dumb character who should be replaced in the film by Dopey. Their disdain lead to the phrase,"A Mickey Mouse Operation" used to describe things that are second rate.

At that time, flush with the huge success of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1937) the 37-year-old Walt Disney was at the height of his creative powers. Visitors to the studio were amazed by his boundless energy, they would have more surprised to find out he had suffered a nervous breakdown eight years earlier. His anything is possible attitude carried over to many of his artists who were zany characters to begin with. Working on Fantasia with highbrow types like Stokowski and music critic Deems Taylor, Walt would sometimes feel embarrassed by their immature behavior. Don't be, he was told, Your cartoonists are like the elves in Santa's workshop.

If Walt was ignorant about some classical music pieces, he made up for it by plunging into Fantasia with boyish enthusiasm. His imagination was translated into unique visions by the Disney animators. A Bach passage reminded him of a bowl of spaghetti, he was later amused when critics saw something profound in the simple drawings
that appeared on screen. Stokowski suggested they use a piece called Sacre du Printemps or Rite Of Spring, by Igor Stravinsky. "Socker, what's that?" Walt asked. After he heard the music he wired ten thousand dollars to Stravinsky for permission to use it. The desperate Russian composer needed the cash to get safe passage out of occupied Paris. Sacre was transformed from ancient pagan rituals to accompany a powerful depiction of Earth's evolution. Beethoven's sixth symphony, The Pastoral, was changed from a peaceful countryside setting to a Mount Olympus spectacle where unicorns, centaurs and nymphs roamed freely. After seeing the completed work for the first time Walt said with wide-eyed innocence,"Wow! This will make Beethoven!" Like what George Lucas would later do with THX, Walt developed a new recording system called Fantasound, so that audiences would be able to enjoy the rich quality of the music. All of this spending was viewed with alarm by his tightfisted business partner and classical music hating brother Roy, who annoyed Walt by suggesting they use some Tommy Dorsey tunes instead.

With past films Disney had often bowed to pressure from his financial backers to finish them early while he was still tinkering, trying to make them perfect. Giving in to the money men always gave him a sense of loss. He dreamed Fantasia would play forever in some theaters with new segments constantly being added, an endlessly ongoing project. But Fantasia was a crushing disappointment for Walt in 1940. Many movie theater owners refused to pay for the installation of Fantasound, giving the film very limited distribution. The exhibitors who did show it charged much higher admission prices than normal keeping audiences away. The people that did come were often put off by the lack of a story or the frightening devil in the Night On Bald Mountain sequence, for whom Bela Lugosi was the real life model. Roy, who had indulged his brother because he was certain they would break even overseas, saw World War II cut off much of the foreign market. Classical music aficionados like the ungrateful Stravinsky looked down their noses at Disney's masterpiece. Fantasia was cut in length and went into mass release as the second half of a double feature. The Disney brothers took a financial bath they nearly never recovered from.

Fifteen years later Mickey Mouse was back on top with The Mickey Mouse Club television show and Walt finally got his ongoing dream project with Disneyland. But unlike other initial money losers he made, such as Bambi (1942) and Pinocchio (1940), he never lived to see Fantasia become profitable. Shortly before he died in 1966 he said,"Fantasia? Well I don't regret it but if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't."

In 1968 the Beatle's cartoon Yellow Submarine did very well with the psychedelic crowd. Sensing a new market for Fantasia, the Disney studio re-released it and the film was finally made profitable by drug tripping hippies who speculated that Walt must have been on something when he produced it.

What if they place your product without you knowing it?

One just has to look at a James Bond or Lara Croft movie to see what effective product placement is. The product has to be subtly placed and should not occupy every frame of the movie.

Visualise this. Amitabh Bachchan, playing a simpleton, just retired from service, walks past a car showroom with his wife when he stops to admire one of the cars parked outside. He knows that he cannot afford it, but hey, there are no costs for admiring a car. An eager, friendly, car salesman coaxes him to take a test-drive, which Amitabh is not very keen to do as he knows - and I have already told you so - that he cannot afford the car. But, being a human being and persuaded very convincingly by the car salesman, he reluctantly agrees to take a test drive. Test drive over, the unrelenting salesman again tries to sell him the car through attractive finance schemes. Our simpleton Amitabh is apologetic as he cannot afford the car, really, and I don't doubt him, as even my retired government official dad cannot afford a Rs 15-lakh car. Now this is where things go nasty. The cheerful Dr. Jekyll of a salesman suddenly turns into Mr. Hyde and starts uttering profanities against Amitabh. Not stopping at this, he then proceeds to slap and shove the old man around.

Holy cow! Pause. Rewind. Replay. Now that was a Ford India showroom and the car was a Mondeo.

Now you know why the Accord sells so much and the Mondeo finds it tough reaching double-digit sales. They beat up people at Ford India dealerships, not a statement that I ratify, but precisely the unfortunate message that came out of this movie sequence. The movie in question was Baghban, which was released a few years back and was a moderate success.

On a serious note, my friends in Maraimalai Nagar in Chengalpattu down south wouldn't even have noticed the movie, and even if they had seen it and felt infuriated, they could hardly have done anything about the issue. For, when once a movie with such a thoughtless sequence is released, the damage is already done and there is no point in raking the issue. Actually, raking the issue is just snowballing it into a controversy and getting the movie more eyeballs and ensuring more damage to the product. Most often the long reaction time of the judiciary to take up such issues will see to it that major damage has already been done to your company's repute even before the court can decide on stopping the screening or making necessary changes to the movie. Anyways, it is difficult to raise any objections against a movie on grounds of misrepresentation of products or a company and be taken seriously.

Ironically, I have a feeling that the director didn't even think twice before going ahead with the sequence. Ford India can take comfort in the fact that they are not the only victims of this Bollywood automotive ignorance. Most of us will remember the Road' sequence where a Tata truck catches up with a Tata Safari.

That's why they sell more trucks than Safaris.

I guess they would have accelerated the Safari Petrol programme after the sequence in Road came out. Such apathy towards, otherwise sound vehicles, has been common in Bollywood movies with numerous sequences of dogs, monkeys, horses, hero-on-a-cycle, hero-on-a-tonga, hero-on-a-bullock-cart and even hero-barefoot chasing sleek, fast cars and catching them, much to the horror of automobile marketing executives across the country. read more
