Numbing, captivating, sorrowful, beautiful, profound, phenomenal and humbling - are just a few words to describe Mel Gibson's "The Passion." The last 12 hours of Jesus' life has never been so realistically and dramatically depicted. The scenes, although graphic are compelling and true-to-life.

The most sensitive scene presents Jesus carrying the cross upon His shoulders. As He staggers upon the cobblestone walkway, Mary sees a flashback of their lives together. A mere child, Jesus falls to the ground and Mother Mary is there to help him, "I'm here," she says. A million miles away in thought, Mary runs to the aid of her now-grown Son-Of-Man, as He, too stumbles to the stony pathway.

"The Passion" truly characterizes the meaning of "truth." There are no other words to describe this film other than it is "The Passion" of Christ. If anything, "The Passion" promotes absolute faith, forgiveness, love and hope - not only to God, but of humankind as well.

Starring James Caviezel (as leading role of Jesus Christ), "The Passion," in my opinion, does not induce an anti-Semitic depiction of the Jewish people; rather, it is a deep and profound truth which Mel Gibson had courage to recreate for all the world to see.

"The Passion" is playing in movie theaters everywhere. My advice is to view this movie with an open mind and open heart - the rest will follow.

The film opens with Shrek (voiced over by Mike Myers) and his beloved (now turned into an Ogre) Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) enjoying themselves on their honeymoon at sand-kissed beaches. Returning from their romantic idyll, Shrek and Princess Fiona are summoned by Fiona's parents, the king (John Cleese) and queen (Julie Andrews) of the "Kingdom Far, Far Away" (a fairy-tale version of Beverly Hills).

After much discussion, the ogre couple finally decide to leave for the celebration at the "Kingdom Far, Far Away." Donkey also accompanies them with his whining and one-liner spouting all intact.

All along the journey to the "Kingdom Far, Far Away", you cannot resist but guffaw at the nasty doings of the Donkey. Once the ogre couple reach the kingdom for a homecoming celebration, Princess Fiona's parents are taken aback when they learn that their princess has married an ogre and become one, too (as always its the parents who are the last ones to find out).

That's when the king summons a Fairy Godmother (Jennifer Saunders) to eliminate Shrek and have his daughter Fiona married to Fairy Godmother's foppish son Prince Charming (Rupert Everett). The king also calls upon a famous yet cute little ogre hunter Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) for this task, but the feline eventually joins forces with Shrek and Donkey.

Banderas is excellent with his Spanish accent that suits right with Puss in Boots's profile and also again gets a chance to play Zorro.

Throughout the movie you can find nasty references to movies like Spider-Man, The Wizard of Oz, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix and Charlie's Angels. The original sound tracks of the film are music to ears, and the computer animation - gorgeous!

Though its only rarely that an idea of a sequel works, in this case, the storyline picks up seamlessly from the first film and doesn't feel forced at all. Shrek 2 is downright funny and wonderful - a must-see for the young and the old.

Ever since that terrific change in his life he hasn't become a "vegetarian" like a vampire family in Twilight, but instead he was terrorizing the neighboring villages. Having fallen in love with him Victoria is now busy with helping him find the potion to set him free and turn him back to his humanity. That's in her best interests after all.

After a quick run through town and the local wise woman's house, you'll spend much of the game in the witch Celeste's castle, finding the keys Damon needs to unlock his salvation.

You will have to play in turns switching between Damon and Victoria. That is because each of them is better at certain activities unlike the other one. Like Damon doesn't do well with sunshine, and Victoria isn't that good at flying way up.

The hidden object parts happen only when a crow brings you a list of items to find. The list usually gives you twelve items to find. Some of those are multiple and some include some kind of action.

The game features really nice puzzles to solve. Some of them can be skipped though. Sometimes it is not that clear what you are to do next, but isn't brain bending challenges like that is what the genre fans are looking for?

The game relies on collecting various bits and bobs cogs for the clock, flowers for a potion, coins for a machine abit too much, but does an excellent job of mixing up tasks so that it never feels repetitious.

The graphics, sounds, music, game story and game play make up for a good game, beautiful and challenging.

A couple of wholesome American youths (one of them a Jew) are nabbed by a ring of east Europeans who cater to the depraved needs of sadists by providing them with fresh supplies of torture victims. The good guys are invariably American (or mistaken for Americans, or the allies of Americans, Japanese). The bad guys are invariably European; a decadent and unfaithful Icelandic, seductive Czech and Russian women, a Dr. Mengele type German, a Ukrainian pimp. The torture chambers are located in a small village in the outskirts of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia in Central Europe. Everyone is in on the take, the police especially.

The events depicted in the film are not without historical precedent, but the moviemakers got the locations all wrong: nine of ten serial killers worldwide are born and bred in the United States. Born Killers is an American phenomenon, not a European one.

Moreover, the New Europe (to borrow the American Secretary of Defense's unforgettable coinage) - namely, the countries of eastern and central Europe - are obsequious vassals of the United States. It is the Old Europe that regards the United States and its inhabitants as a menace to world peace and stability and a clear and present danger to us all.

Indeed, the United States, as Nobel prize winner Harold Pinter recently pointed out in his acceptance speech, is an evil and psychopathic polity. Niall Ferguson, the renowned historian, claims that from its very inception, the USA set out to cannibalize its neighbors and prey on the weak while amassing wealth and territories in the process.

Like any psychopath, the USA believes that it should be immune to the consequences of its misconduct abroad. Hence its shock when al-Qaida brought the blazing message home: you are not beyond reach. The (American) protagonist in the movie gets sliced up but, against all odds, succeeds to extract the badly mutilated Japanese from her hellish cell and escape. Catching a glimpse of her eyeless self, she later commits suicide. Indomitable, he then proceed to torture and amputate the sinister ringleader, a Central European-vaguely German, respectable-looking, middle-class type. He is too late so save his Jewish friend, though (a not so veiled reference to the Holocaust).

This is how Americans view themselves: as good-hearted, good-natured, naive, somewhat gullible, fun-loving, and generous people universally victimized by inscrutable and malevolent foreigners, bent on sadistic and needless destruction. Denial is a defense mechanism very common among narcissists and psychopaths. The truth is, of course, radically different.

With the exception of World War II, the United States has acted as a rapacious conqueror of other peoples' lands under the flimsiest of pretexts. Its expansion was always violent and involved numerous acts of genocide and warfare. Now it is gradually eroding its only redeeming feature: its democracy. It is slowly being transformed from republic to empire, as did Rome two thousand years ago.

The USA is a terrorist state. While there is no disputing that the abhorrent al-Qaida network of murderers should be hunted down and exterminated mercilessly - it is equally morally commendable to wish for the dissolution of the United States and for its disintegration into its constituent states. Story:

Raghuram (Ravi Babu) is a popular director who is planning a movie with all the newcomers. In the process, he falls on Sitara (Ravaneeth Kour) and believes it would be ideal and selects.During filming, Raghuram falls for Sitara but his bad luck, Sitara falls in love with the hero (Ashwin). Knowing this, a jealous Raghuram starts behaving horribly with her.Twist in the tale arises when Sitara is killed on the set of questionable manner. Did she get killed or committed suicide? Raghuram is involved in this? Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus points:

The concept of the filmis enjoyable. First 15-20 minutes of the film are very engaging. Screenplay featuring two parallel stories is the main highlight of the film. The highest point is not bad. Ravi Babu is an asset for the film with his versatile play. It was popular in his party.
Ravaneeth Kour seems glamorous and provides the necessary oomph factor. Krishna Bhagavan provides plenty of entertainment with its blows comedy and Chitram Srinu also tries to evoke few laughs.

negative points:

Management is the major drawback of this film. There were plenty of opportunities to make this film as an engaging thriller, but the director has failed in its execution. Even if the script is good, the film is fairly predictable after 15 to 20 minutes.There are so many unnecessary scenes that come in the middle of the film. Except Ravi Babu character, every other character lacks depth. All the songs in the film becomes speed breakers for the procedure.

Technical aspects :

Cinematography is decent and the shots are beautifully captured. The manager lacks clarity in its execution and failed to make the necessary emotions in most scenes. The history of revelation with another film and ending with three other films are good.
Coming to the music, not even a song is good, but the background score is not bad. editing Nandamuri Hari is very dull. Production values looks good.

verdict:

Overall, Sitara lack of depth in the story and completely deviates from its plot with many unnecessary scenes. The only points of thanks for the film are Ravi Babu game, first 15 minutes and some comedy scenes. Except these, there is not much in this movie. Watching when the DVD came out.

Story: -

Soma Raju (Shiva) is a carefree youth who takes responsibility for the compensation (Megha Lanka) all financial problems of his girlfriend. On the other choice, with his friend kidnaps a wealthy man (Sayaji Shinde) from a bar.Unfortunately for them, the rich man proves to be the DGP of Hyderabad. Hell breaks and a fear of death Shva decided to postpone the DGP to the police. The moment is about to do a dreaded naxal group kidnaps the DGP with Shiva and his band.Rest of the story is how Shiva sorts things and frees everyone from the Naxalites trap.

Plus Points: -

One plus point of the filmis based Vennela Kishore. He is the only actor who gives his best and trying to save the film itself. Her character was written very well and evokes a comedy when he's around.Prabhas Seenu doing his job and trying to provoke a few laughs during the first half. Hero Shiva has not much to do and play their role to the best of his ability. Sri Megha looks good but has no scope for action. Sayaji Shinde and Suriya perform their roles extremely well.

Negative points: -

This movie makes absolutely no sense that the proceedings move randomly throughout the film. None of the characters whose hero has no weight in the film. People continue to arrive regularly and irritate the audience much time.First half of the film is going for a draw that some illogical scenes and silly narration center stage. Film is painfully slow pace that procedures have to ever conclude. The pre-climax, the entry of Pruthvi and silly comedy makes matters worse for viewers.

Technical aspects: -

Songs from the movie are somewhat decent and were also shot well. The edition is horrible at least 20 minutes of the film could have been cut blindly. Scenario is a huge disappointment that procedures have absolutely no clarity and meaning.Coming to the Director Prabhakar Reddy, it makes a huge mess of a decent story line. The film that looks good on paper is murdered by his performance leaves extremely low. Not once during this film, you can see something interesting.

Verdict:-

Overall, Anaganaga Oka Chitram is a huge disappointment in the form of its execution. Except for the sincere approach Vennela Kishore, there is not much hope in this lack of lusture film and can be safely ignored this weekend.

He decides to pursue a crush he has on his boss, an attractive woman named Rita. At first he tries using his super-powers of living the same day over and over again to gain information he can use to trick Rita into falling in love with him -- such as remembering her favorite foods and childhood memories. This doesn't work because Rita sees through the tricks and realizes he's not being genuine. However in the process, Bill Murray's character actually falls in love with Rita and with her passion for excellence and helping other people.

At this point, a transformation happens in our hero's life. Even though he's stuck in a rut and living the same day over and over again, he decides to make the best of the situation. Instead of being mean to people and ignoring them every day, he starts being nice and helping people. He starts learning new skills like how to play the piano and how to ice sculpt. By the end of the movie, he has really become an amazing individual - saving many peoples' lives and playing the piano in a brilliant concert performance for the townspeople. Rita, his boss, is genuinely impressed and truly falls in love with Murray's character, Phil. They fall asleep together after having had a deep and meaningful conversation, and the next morning it's not Groundhog Day anymore.

At the end of the movie, all the people of the town were singing Phil's praises because of all the wonderful things he did to help them. This contributed even more to Rita's falling in love with him. If you see people as human beings and use your time to help them, they'll remember and will be more likely to do things to help you in return.

The film starts out with an introduction of Mitch, played by Norm Macdonald, who gets fired from his pizza delivery job within minutes of the movie starting. He eventually is dumped by his girlfriend and is forced to move in with his pizza loving best friend, Sam, who is played by Artie Lange. Sam's father is living in Sam's house, and eventually the boys find out that this man, who was as much of a father to Mitch as Sam during their youth, required a heart transplant. Since Mitch has been fired from his pizza job, the duo set out to start a "dirty work for hire" business. The business plays devious and sometimes harmful pranks on people who are out to get revenge, but require some plausible deniability in doing so.

This film was directed by Bob Saget, popular father on the 90s sitcom, Full House, and later host of America's Funniest Videos. Because of Saget's close connections with the Hollywood comedy scene, comic all starts, Chevy Chase, Don Rickles, and Chris Farley also had roles in the film. Another lover of pizza, Chris Farley's character, Jimmy, is missing half of his nose which had been "bitten off by a Saigon whore." It would eventually be Jimmy, using an army of live skunks and prostitutes who would ultimately help save the day at the end of the film.

The film had a budget of $13 million but was only able to gross slightly over $10 million. In Hollywood, this is often considered a failure of a film, but the two main characters have said publicly how proud they were that it became a cult hit. A constant center of jokes on the Howard Stern show, much of Artie Lange's fanbase cite this film as one of their favorites. Even Norm Macdonald has said that working with Don Rickles for a day was one of the most treasured times of his career. Indeed, working with comics Chevy Chase and Chris Farley must have been absolutely amazing.

The film was written by Frank Sebastiano, Fred Wolf, and Norm Macdonald. It was produced by Robert Simonds, who helped produce other cult classics like Problem Child, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Airheads, Half Baked, and most recently, This Means War. While reviewers gave Dirty Work a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a whopping 65% with viewers, proving its cult status among fans of all the fantastic comics in the film.
