A superstitious man, who like many in Hollywood consulted fortune tellers, he felt that if Mickey died, his whole organization would go down with him. The problem was that Mickey like many stars was now type cast. He had gone from being mischievous to bland. It had gotten to the point where Walt would get letters of complaint every time the little guy would misbehave on the screen. He had been surpassed in popularity by the mean-spirited but more versatile Donald Duck. Walt also felt that the high pitched voice that he himself provided for the mouse was not exciting for audiences to hear, his role in Fantasia would be silent. Disney remained Mickey's strongest advocate, despite his artist's suggestions the four foot rodent was a dumb character who should be replaced in the film by Dopey. Their disdain lead to the phrase,"A Mickey Mouse Operation" used to describe things that are second rate.

Sacre was transformed from ancient pagan rituals to accompany a powerful depiction of Earth's evolution. Beethoven's sixth symphony, The Pastoral, was changed from a peaceful countryside setting to a Mount Olympus spectacle where unicorns, centaurs and nymphs roamed freely. After seeing the completed work for the first time Walt said with wide-eyed innocence,"Wow! This will make Beethoven!" Like what George Lucas would later do with THX, Walt developed a new recording system called Fantasound, so that audiences would be able to enjoy the rich quality of the music. All of this spending was viewed with alarm by his tightfisted business partner and classical music hating brother Roy, who annoyed Walt by suggesting they use some Tommy Dorsey tunes instead.

With past films Disney had often bowed to pressure from his financial backers to finish them early while he was still tinkering, trying to make them perfect. Giving in to the money men always gave him a sense of loss. He dreamed Fantasia would play forever in some theaters with new segments constantly being added, an endlessly ongoing project. But Fantasia was a crushing disappointment for Walt in 1940. Many movie theater owners refused to pay for the installation of Fantasound, giving the film very limited distribution. The exhibitors who did show it charged much higher admission prices than normal keeping audiences away. The people that did come were often put off by the lack of a story or the frightening devil in the Night On Bald Mountain sequence, for whom Bela Lugosi was the real life model. Roy, who had indulged his brother because he was certain they would break even overseas, saw World War II cut off much of the foreign market. Classical music aficionados like the ungrateful Stravinsky looked down their noses at Disney's masterpiece. Fantasia was cut in length and went into mass release as the second half of a double feature. The Disney brothers took a financial bath they nearly never recovered from.

Fifteen years later Mickey Mouse was back on top with The Mickey Mouse Club television show and Walt finally got his ongoing dream project with Disneyland. But unlike other initial money losers he made, such as Bambi (1942) and Pinocchio (1940), he never lived to see Fantasia become profitable. Shortly before he died in 1966 he said,"Fantasia? (not the browser version) and they index only the TEXT they find
within that source code.

concern, however, as the vast majority of browsers that are being
used today are compatible.

Yes, but will the Search Engines tolerate the "trick"?

Obviously the most pressing question is whether or not the search
engines will accept, or reject, pages that make use of this
strategy. After all, the possibility of layering irrelevant
content under, or even entirely off the page (by assigning minus
positioning coordinates) is a distinct possibility.

To anticipate how the search engines might view this strategy,
once again, we consider the issues of "intention" and
"relevancy."

Perhaps Stephen Baker, Director of Business Development and
Marketing at FAST, said it best when he remarked, "Our position
is pretty straight forward...it's not the technique that we are
concerned about, it's the intention. If we index the text in Z-
Order and CSS and it's relevant to the content, then we're all
happy. But, as you know, we do have internal systems that trip
wires all of the time. If a particular technique becomes heavily
abused over time, we'll definitely stop indexing information
through said technique."

As we've said countless times before, certain legitimate Web site
enhancements, like FLASH, frames, dynamic content, etc., are a
nightmare for the engines to index. They simply have never done a
very good job on complicated HTML page, and FLASH poses, perhaps,
the greatest indexing challenge of them all.

to be found as any others within their selected keyword

Weve probably all heard the famous movie quip, why dont you wait here while I slip into something a little more comfortable. The Comfort Zone is a situation where a particular level of non strenuous effort produces a fairly certain and familiar result, albeit in most cases, a pretty average one.

As our species evolves, we seem to be preoccupied with living in the comfort zone. I mean who can imagine the extreme torture one might experience from getting up off the couch to change channels or to walk down the street to pick up a pizza! The sad thing is that this state of lethargy seeps into the way we live the rest of our lives.

The attraction of the comfort zone can be quite compelling because of the common human fear of the unknown. Lets face it, when it really comes down to it, most of us dont really like surprises. A probable average result is often much preferable to the possibility of an outstanding but uncertain one.

What most people dont realise is that getting out of the Comfort Zone gives you the opportunity to slip into the arena of the Pleasure Zone.

Why arent more people successful?

I heard a very successful entrepreneur and motivational speaker asked the question Why arent more people successful? He responded by saying that its because it takes real skill to die of starvation in countries such as the UK, US and Australia.

I actually found this statement to be quite profound. I mean how many people do you encounter on a daily basis that consistently give much less than what they are capable of but are still able to hold down their jobs, put food on the table and make their mortgage repayments? Choosing Faith, Choosing Fear, and Field of Dreams A Personal Story

Before What the Bleep . . . before The Secret and any other similar movie since . . . there was a film that provided The Key. And, it was so subtle (yet obvious, now) I only just got it nearly two decades later. And, just when I needed it.

If youre not familiar with the movie, Field of Dreams, I suggest you get it. The lead character, Ray Kinsella, is a man who has a wounded heart and mind. The wound filters into most areas of his life: though he has a loving relationship with his wife and daughter, he doesnt think much of himself or how his life has played out, isnt motivated by more than basic passions, and feels the dullness of an unfulfilled spirit.

Ray hears a voice that tells him, If you build it, he will come, and sees a vision to plow some of his planted corn and build a baseball field. No one hears the voice but Ray. It nudges him until he finally tells his wife that if he doesnt follow this crazy impulse, hes terrified of becoming just like his father: old and worn out before his time. Plus, hes making spontaneous, costly-for-them trips to find people hes led to find through dreams and other means. When he returns home, hes watching a baseball game going on in his field . . . a game being played by beings only he, his wife and daughter, and a famous author who returned with him, can see. His brother-in-law arrives with a contract for Ray to sign that turns over his home and farm to the new mortgage owners. Ray holds the contract and pen and looks at the players on the field, then shifts so he can go eye-to-eye with Shoeless Joe Jackson. Shoeless Joe does what he always did (while alive) when the game was tight and a player was at bat: He shifted his position into a half-crouch and focused his attention to watch every nuance of the batter to anticipate the batters next move, in this case, Ray.

The reason this movie and one particular moment is being shared here with you is because of something that happened during my morning meditation. The Law of Attraction has worked for me for . . . well, always, if you understand the Law; but my conscious awareness and use of it started several decades ago. However, something was missing. Evidence of this was in my life experiences. Several weeks back, I stated to myself, Theres a switch that needs to be flipped inside me, and Im going to find it.

The last several weeks have been amazing, frustrating, scary, and filled with an intense inner exploration to find the switch. I did discover that doubt negates any affirmation we make; and I knew I had to find the key or switch that helped me remove doubt . . . which, based on how the Law works, meant I had to find a way to only hold doubts opposite: faith.

Im visual by nature. My mind plays with images at all times when I read or listen to someone speak. Naturally, when I meditate, I find its stronger for me if I play a movie in my mind with however many characters I need to cast. In my vision (which I use often) I have a cast of gazillions of ethereal, somewhat embodied beings that cheer me and support me. This morning, as I went to that space to discuss faith and fear with my primary helper, I found a contract awaiting my signature.

The contract was my agreement to embrace fear, worry, doubt, concern, dullness, lack, and any and every not-good experience and feeling you can imagine. This was a brilliant way to present this to myself because I know that faith and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time, and that Ill manifest some or all of whichever is strongest inside of me.

The choice seemed clear, dont you think? Before I continue, in whatever way works for you, imagine that contract in front of you now. Since no one is reading your mind, what are your honest feelings about signing it? Remember, this is a life-long commitment youre about to make. Think of the implications. How will you have to behave if you sign it? This includes how you choose, hold, and live your thoughts, words, feelings, and actions. Youre on the verge of signing up for Absolute Faith, always and in all ways.

This moment in my meditation is when the movie memory was triggered. You see, my gazillion team members, as a whole, took the position Shoeless Joe Jackson did when Ray stood there holding the contract (waiting and watching to anticipate my next move). I looked at them, then back at the contract. I felt the hesitation. It was that realization we believe we understand Ray to face: Sign and end the struggle of the moment OR risk the lenders taking his property, everyone in the county who already thinks hes not dealing with a full deck believe hes crazy and irresponsible, and trust what hes already seen and experienced that defies reality. The moment Ray refuses to sign, another message is delivered to him. Because he made his choice for absolute faith rather than fear, all that he needed, all that was waiting to come to him began to arrive.

Faith and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time.

Your contract is in front of you, the pen is in your hand.
