All the scenes meanwhile seem forced and do not convince the public.Edition of this film is bad enough and not going with the flow of the film. As expected, both Devi Sri Prasad and Ratnavelu are the unsung heroes of Sri Devi Kumari 21 F gives a muffled music score and his return to the ground is also quite impressive. Visuals in the film are very endearing and different lighting techniques used by Ratnavelu natural and fresh look.Coming to the director Surya Pratap, he does a decent job with the film. Even if he goes too far in presenting the character of the heroine in some areas, it justifies well during the climax.

Being Present: what Samurai teach us about Multitasking!

Yesterday, my husband and I saw the movie The Last Samurai. Usually I dont watch movies with a lot of violence, because it makes me uncomfortable. But my interest was piqued when I saw an interview with Tom Cruise, who was curiously unable to express the personal effect this movie had on his own life. It had clearly been an experience that had deeply effected him. To see him, usually so articulate, stumble for words made me want to go see the movie.

I wont be describing the story; thats not what this article is about. But there was something really impressive about it that I want to share with you. The movie portrayed the way of the Samurai, the Japanese warriors of old times. Tom Cruises character, an army captain captured by the Samurai, describes the concept of mindfulness of the Japanese people: when something is being done, it is done to perfection. He is amazed by their discipline and the focus they have on whatever task they are doing. Each action they take is based on this spiritual foundation of mindfulness.

In one scene the captain is practicing his fighting skills with a warrior. Tom is loosing time and again. Suddenly one of the watching warriors tells him: Too many minds! With this the warrior addresses the fact that Toms attention is diverted to many different thoughts: hes focusing on the watchers, on the warrior and on himself, which makes him lose. The sentence No mind! brings the captain fully into the present moment, which ultimately allows him to finish the fight in a draw instead of defeat.

In our western culture we often act from a different perspective. We feel that the more we multitask the more we are able to achieve and this makes us a better person. Its almost like we have to defend our right to exist by how much we accomplish! But one of my clients illustrates how we often dilute our own ability to fully live life. Josie had contacted me about a change in her career that she had wanted for a long time. She wanted to become more successful in her business. However, during our sessions she constantly came up against blocks that prevented her from taking the actions that we planned out. She told me how she often felt overwhelmed by all the things in her life. She had many unfinished projects around her house, which kept occupying space in her mind as well. And because she was constantly aware of them, she kept beating herself up about not finishing them. I feel like I never get anything accomplished. It totally drags me down and when I see everything that needs to be done, its just too much and I shut down!

I noticed the vicious cycle that her mind was in by how she described her problem. Her thoughts went from I should be doing this- I know I need to do this- but I have so many things to finish- I never finish anything- Im a failure. There was clearly old tape running in her mind. Most of us have this old tape running in the background of our thinking: its an old message we decided on a long time ago and now its an automatic cycle that keeps playing over and over.

Luckily, there are several ways to diminish this old tape. One of them is to become Fully Present. In Eckhart Tolles book The Power of NOW he describes Presence as being Here, Now. When you are fully here, now, your mind stops running its tape. In its place there is a deep and peaceful silence. Our mind is a useful tool for gathering information and designing strategies, but in our lives we usually are too identified with what we think. Most anxious feelings are started because we think too much. We worry, which is a thought based on either our past or our future. This takes us out of the present moment. Anxiousness doesnt have a space in the present.

Together, Josie and I started integrating some exercises into her life. Meditation was one of them, but Josie only had very limited time available. There had to be practices she could integrate during her normal daily activities. She finally settled for two specific ways. She stopped multitasking! In an interview Maya Angelou describes how multitasking doesnt really serve us. She was cleaning vegetables and watching her granddaughter play, when she suddenly cut her finger. Because she was doing two things at the same time, her attention wasnt fully focused on what she was doing and the result was that she damaged herself physically. To become present, she put both hands under the faucet and put all her attention to the one thing she was now doing. She fully enjoyed the feel of running water over her skin and with that she was fully present. Josie took this example to heart and made the commitment to really focus on what she does, one thing at a time.

The other way that Josie uses to become fully present is from Eckhart Tolles book Stillness Speaks. He gives the example to look at a tree and simply observe it standing. You dont have to describe it, just look. The tree doesnt do anything, its not taking action or trying to reach a goal or pretend that its something it is not. A tree just is. And when you observe it, you connect with that same stillness of being present. Another client told me about her experience. She said being present not only relieves tension, its much more personal than that. Being fully present, to me, is a very personal peaceful and calming experience. For myself, being fully present is an incredibly intimate and vulnerable experience, but without the fear of getting hurt. Fear is mostly about perceiving painful possibilities, which are projected in the future. Therefore, when you are feeling fearful, you are not being present.

Josie started using these techniques, including some other ones as well. She reported back to me a couple of weeks later. She felt more peaceful and more in control of her life. Over the next few months she got very good at stopping that running old tape. This enabled her to focus on the projects that had been waiting for her, one by one. It allowed her to see results, which ultimately made her feel much better about herself!

Now I am challenging you to observe your thoughts this week. Simply notice how often your mind drifts off again and again! No more multitasking; you are then diverting your attention, which makes you really not as efficient in living as you think you are. Just pull your attention back to what you are doing at that moment. Because, whenever you notice youre not present, in that moment you are present. Amazing how that is!

As the first film Bellamkonda Srinivas, let's start with him first. The young hero, was trained very well for his first film. Sreenivas excelled in both dances and fights. It has a lot of grace while dancing, and it shows on the screen. Acting wise also it is ok and will surely improve with his upcoming movies.Samantha appears in an out and out glamorous role, and does what is required of him perfectly. Glamor, especially in songs, will surely captivate the mass audience completely. Brahmanandam is another major asset of the film. It is hilarious as Dimple, and major entertainment generates in the film. His scenes with Sreenivas came out extremely well.Again, Prakash Raj did a fantastic job as always. He is supreme in its two roles, and shows the subtle variations. Some of his scenes with Samantha during the second half have good emotions. V V Vinayak has enough entertainment, and makes this movie look great.

MinusPoints:

The line of the basic story of Alludu Seenu is nothing new, and has not many interesting factors. Once the twist is revealed, the film is predictable right to the end.Second half has the same Baadshah, Dhee Ready and the type of entertainment, and has nothing new to offer. Although the songs were shot extremely well, they are not placed in the right places. Too many songs comes in one after another, and spoil the flow of the film.

Technical aspects:

Music of the film is quite good, and has some interesting peppy numbers. Bellamkonda Suresh spent a bomb on the film and Chota K Naidu showcases wonderfully with his camerawork. written for Brahmanandam dialogues are hilarious, and so are a coatings. The music of Devi Sri Prasad is also good, but it is his background that elevates the film to another level.Coming to V V Vinayak, its direction is top. Although this is a routine story, he handles very well. It adds the necessary punches and all commercial paper needed for perfect balance. Scenario Gopi Mohan is about right and could have been more tense during the second half.

Verdict:

Overall, Alludu Seenu is a fact of launching pad for measurement Bellamkonda Sreenivas. He made an impressive start and fascinated everyone with his dances and fights. glamorous Samantha, routine commercial aspects but entertaining V V Vinayak, and hilarious comedy Brahmi makes this film a sound artist.

Choosing Faith, Choosing Fear, and Field of Dreams A Personal Story

Before What the Bleep . . . before The Secret and any other similar movie since . . . there was a film that provided The Key. And, it was so subtle (yet obvious, now) I only just got it nearly two decades later. And, just when I needed it.

If youre not familiar with the movie, Field of Dreams, I suggest you get it. The lead character, Ray Kinsella, is a man who has a wounded heart and mind. The wound filters into most areas of his life: though he has a loving relationship with his wife and daughter, he doesnt think much of himself or how his life has played out, isnt motivated by more than basic passions, and feels the dullness of an unfulfilled spirit.

Ray hears a voice that tells him, If you build it, he will come, and sees a vision to plow some of his planted corn and build a baseball field. No one hears the voice but Ray. It nudges him until he finally tells his wife that if he doesnt follow this crazy impulse, hes terrified of becoming just like his father: old and worn out before his time. He builds the field; and baseball greats appear out of the corn thats still planted, and the magic really unfolds.

Ray has removed and built what was necessary at the outer level; but theres more to be done at the inner level.

Finances are tight for Rays family; and having less corn to harvest and sell makes it even tighter. Plus, hes making spontaneous, costly-for-them trips to find people hes led to find through dreams and other means. When he returns home, hes watching a baseball game going on in his field . . . a game being played by beings only he, his wife and daughter, and a famous author who returned with him, can see. His brother-in-law arrives with a contract for Ray to sign that turns over his home and farm to the new mortgage owners. Ray holds the contract and pen and looks at the players on the field, then shifts so he can go eye-to-eye with Shoeless Joe Jackson. Shoeless Joe does what he always did (while alive) when the game was tight and a player was at bat: He shifted his position into a half-crouch and focused his attention to watch every nuance of the batter to anticipate the batters next move, in this case, Ray.

The reason this movie and one particular moment is being shared here with you is because of something that happened during my morning meditation. The Law of Attraction has worked for me for . . . well, always, if you understand the Law; but my conscious awareness and use of it started several decades ago. However, something was missing. Evidence of this was in my life experiences. Several weeks back, I stated to myself, Theres a switch that needs to be flipped inside me, and Im going to find it.

The last several weeks have been amazing, frustrating, scary, and filled with an intense inner exploration to find the switch. I did discover that doubt negates any affirmation we make; and I knew I had to find the key or switch that helped me remove doubt . . . which, based on how the Law works, meant I had to find a way to only hold doubts opposite: faith.

Im visual by nature. My mind plays with images at all times when I read or listen to someone speak. Naturally, when I meditate, I find its stronger for me if I play a movie in my mind with however many characters I need to cast. In my vision (which I use often) I have a cast of gazillions of ethereal, somewhat embodied beings that cheer me and support me. This morning, as I went to that space to discuss faith and fear with my primary helper, I found a contract awaiting my signature.

The contract was my agreement to embrace fear, worry, doubt, concern, dullness, lack, and any and every not-good experience and feeling you can imagine. This was a brilliant way to present this to myself because I know that faith and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time, and that Ill manifest some or all of whichever is strongest inside of me.

The choice seemed clear, dont you think? Before I continue, in whatever way works for you, imagine that contract in front of you now. Since no one is reading your mind, what are your honest feelings about signing it? Remember, this is a life-long commitment youre about to make. Think of the implications. How will you have to behave if you sign it? This includes how you choose, hold, and live your thoughts, words, feelings, and actions. Youre on the verge of signing up for Absolute Faith, always and in all ways.

This moment in my meditation is when the movie memory was triggered. You see, my gazillion team members, as a whole, took the position Shoeless Joe Jackson did when Ray stood there holding the contract (waiting and watching to anticipate my next move). I looked at them, then back at the contract. I felt the hesitation. It was that realization we believe we understand Ray to face: Sign and end the struggle of the moment OR risk the lenders taking his property, everyone in the county who already thinks hes not dealing with a full deck believe hes crazy and irresponsible, and trust what hes already seen and experienced that defies reality. The moment Ray refuses to sign, another message is delivered to him. Because he made his choice for absolute faith rather than fear, all that he needed, all that was waiting to come to him began to arrive.

Faith and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time.

Your contract is in front of you, the pen is in your hand.
