Here are the top eight things the industry should do to harness the technology and recapture the simple tenet of giving the customer what they want.

1. Offer three consumption models.

a. Offer all content free with ads.

All content should be available on demand all the time free with ads. The best examples of this so far are music videos at mtv.com and music.yahoo.com and TV shows at in2tv.aol.com. The worst examples of this are the television networks who still insist on having their content time expire after only a short period of availability. Networks should use the ad model to make their entire catalog of shows, current and past, available for free all the time. All media stores, such as iTunes, should also introduce the option of listening to or watching a brief ad per 10 minutes of content or so in order to enjoy the entire content rather than just short preview clips.

b. Rent all content without ads for a fee.

This is the same as 1a only without the ads for a fee. The best examples of this so far are Netflix and Yahoo! Music Unlimited. With the former, for as low as $8.99 per month, you can rent any movie in the store, and that now includes some that can be watched directly online. With the latter, for as low as $5.99 per month, you can listen to every song in the store as many times as you want with no ads. All media stores and sites should offer this option.

There will still always be a market for owning content outright, such as for those times where you just don't have an Internet connection or don't want to be tethered to a server. In these cases, for both online virtual formats and offline physical formats, DRM simply should go. It has proven to hamper sales significantly due to treating everyday paying customers as if they are pirates, restricting them to play back the content on too few devices, giving them the chore of backing up and managing licenses on their computer and violating their fair use rights. DRM will always be defeatable and the industry simply needs to stop investing an inordinate amount of time and money into something that has a negative impact on their bottom line. The industry should abandon it and get back to the basic premise of allowing the customer the joy of experiencing the content they paid for without any strings attached. The best example of this so far is EMI which is now allowing media stores to sell DRM-free songs.

2. Wireless Internet-enable all devices.

The computer cannot be the only access point. TVs, cable boxes, disc players, DVRs, game consoles, portables, boom boxes, phones, car head units - in short all playback devices - should come with built-in wireless connection to the Internet for access to content servers. 3. End format wars.

When a new format is needed to advance the industry to the next level, there should be one and only one format that goes to market and becomes the standard. Like 1c, this applies to both online virtual formats and offline physical formats.

Two formats were necessary at first to spur competition, but the differences between them at this point are so negligible that ultimately one has to win for either to succeed. Companies should be required to register candidate formats in the early stages. The standards body should track investment and invention level of each candidate along the way. The candidates either agree to these terms from the get-go or they do not participate in determining and profiting from the next generation format.

The current example in virtual formats is mp3 vs. AAC vs. WMA vs. yet others for audio, and mpeg-4 (H.264) vs. WMV (VC-1) vs. yet others for video. Coupled with 1c, the industry should have standardized on mp3 and mpeg-4 a long time ago to ensure that all content will be universally playable on every device.

Correcting this immediately is essential. The industry should get a standards body in place as soon as possible and declare much overdue industry standards, such as Blu-ray, mp3 and mpeg-4. The marketplace will rejoice, sales will skyrocket and the floodgates will open on the dam the industry itself has been one of the largest contributors to building.

4. Allow playlists to be defined and stored on the servers.

What 1a and 1b do is move us away from the need to store and manage our own copies of the content on our client devices (or on our shelves). Moving playlists off of the clients is a natural extension of that. When we can dial up all content including our favorite playlists on demand all the time anywhere we have an Internet connection, the convenience of not having to permanently store and backup our own copies of the data will start to prevail. 5. Offer movies by the chapter in addition to whole.

Just as the norm is now to be able to buy individual songs rather than just whole albums, the same option should be available for buying the individual chapters of movies. Doing so would offer the same advantages as individual song sales - the ability to collect favorite chapters at lower cost and storage use, the ability to direct-access chapters on playback and the ability to arrange favorite chapters from various movies into playlists. Note that this would require players to pre-cache the next chapter to ensure gapless chapter-to-chapter playback, but that is certainly doable.

6. Offer a choice of bitrates.

Highly compressed bitrates were fine at first, but there is no doubt that even with today's bandwidth and storage (which will only grow with time), those who want to enjoy higher bitrates should have the option. With 1a and 1b, bandwidth is the primary factor, and clearly higher bitrates are possible even today. With 1c online formats, storage is also a factor, but even with today's capacities some may choose quality over quantity for must-have content.

7. Piggyback audio on video for physical formats.

The industry moving to a new physical format is a big undertaking. Assuming a new HD format succeeds for video, then audio should just piggyback on that success. The video format will obviously have enough capacity for audio, and consumers will not have to buy additional players. Previous HD audio attempts of DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD failed for several reasons - separate audio-only players, no single digital connection such as HDMI, format war, etc. - all of which can be avoided once either Blu-ray or HD DVD is declared the standard. Albums in uncompressed PCM, both 2-channel stereo and multi-channel surround, with HD extras such as music videos, live concert footage and still photos all played through an existing player with single HDMI connection would be very compelling. With lossless compression such as Dolby TrueHD, perhaps entire album box sets could fit on one disc. These are exciting new possibilities.

8. Leverage viral marketing.

This is an extension of 1a. Provide url-addressability to free ad-coupled content that sites anywhere can provide links to - it essentially equates to free marketing for you. It doesn't matter from where the eyeballs found the content, just that they found it. More eyeballs means more ad revenue in your pocket and more exposure that will lead to the eventual purchase of the content and related merchandise such as concert tickets, t-shirts, posters, action figures, toys, etc. A free ad-supported lure has always been necessary (radio and TV) for widespread exposure. Music, movies and all TV programs should get on board and realize the massive new source of constant ad revenue never before possible without the new technology.

Rango is being entirely animated by the visual-effects home Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). Movie Review - Cellular

I had a chance to watch Cellular the other day and my first thought was that here we go with another spin-off of Phone Booth, another movie with someone forced to stay on the phone for 90 some minutes while we cringe in our seat. But, to my surprise , this was actually a very enjoyable movie. Im am not really sure what genre to classify this movie in because it has it all. Suspense, drama, action, comic relief; this movie has everything.

The movie begins with the kidnapping of Jessica Martin, played by Kim Bassinger.
Jessica is a high school science teacher, (that happens to wear fishnet stockings!!) who has her home broken into and mysteriously taken away to an unknown location by the bad guys and placed in an attic. They smash the phone hanging on the wall and proceed to lock Jessica in the attic. Jessica then rigs the broken phone (remember - shes a science teacher) and is able to randomly dial a phone number.
Now enters Ryan, played by Chris Evans, he plays your typical early 20s dude whos only mission is to win back his ex-girlfriend. Jessica finds a live number and lo and behold, it is Ryans cell phone.
The movie then proceeds from there. Jessica cries out for someone she doesnt know in a desperate plea for help. Ryan initially has the normal reaction that anyone would have when receiving a call like this, but goes beyond the call of duty in an effort to save a woman that he doesnt even know.
I am not going to be the spoiler and this is all I am going to tell you, but this is a great sleeper movie. Is it a little far fetched? Yes, but so what. Forget about your problems and sit down and watch Cellular, I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

One of the first moviepalaces was built in New York City in 1913. A movie theater was originallycalled a movie palace. They were beautiful structures where silent films wereshown and then later, films with sound. During this time, most theaterproductions were Vaudeville acts which were more expensive and harder to getseats than going to the movies. The success of movie palaces were based on itslow admission price and unreserved seating.

Popcorn was first servedin movie theaters in 1912 as a cheap and delicious snack. Between 1914 to 1922there was an expansion of movie palaces. In 1907 a movie cost only five cents.This is actually where the name "Nickel"odeon came from whenreferring to movie palaces. There were approximately 4,000 new theaters builtin the United States built during this time. The drive-in theater was verypopular during the 1950's and 1960's but they have now diminished to a fewhundred around the United States. The first multiplex for movies was built in1963. This complex had two full screens and 700 seats. The first airconditioned movie theater was built in 1922.

Many other venues werebuilt to show movies. The first drive in theater was built in 1933 and was inthe state of New Jersey. There are only a few drive-in movie theatres availabletoday. Drive-in movie theatres became very popular during the 1960's. Moviegoerswould watch the films either in their cars or on top of the hood of their car .Thesewere outdoor theaters were cars parked in front of an outdoor screen. They wereprovided with portable speakers to hear the sound or in some cases the soundcame from an FM radio frequency.

In 1905 in Pittsburgh,the first nickelodeon was built. This theater had five cent movies hence thename nickelodeon. The first permanent movie house was built in 1902 inCalifornia. This theatre was a storefront setup that was part of a factorybuilding. They soon became very popular and spread throughout the UnitedStates. In Canada, the first large scale movie theater in the world was built.This was the first time multiple movies were shown in one facility.

During the 1950's and1960's, many theaters were built across the country due to their growingpopularity. The screens became bigger and the facilities became more elaborate.The theaters were built to attract more patrons. I was raised a Catholic, but now I'm not even a Christian. What changed my belief was not because of some author writing a convincing book, nor was it because of a movie like Martin Scorsese's film "The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ." I lost my faith by simply reading and analyzing accepted scriptures.

All forms of Christianity originated from the early Catholic Church. Because of politics, Christianity split up in to different sects, but they all seem to have the same basic belief that Christ was the son of God and that he died for our sins.

The part about him dying for our sins is what I don't quite understand. According to Christian doctrine everyone is born with "original sin" because Adam disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit. And because of our "original sin" we needed a "redeemer" to save us. Hence, God sent his only begotten son to die for our sins and save us. Doesn't this all sound like a children's fairy tale?Why did Adam sin in the first place? When God created him, he gave him a "free will" and because of this "free will" Adam made the decision to sin and was held responsible for his action. But wait a minute; we all know that different people handle temptation in different ways. When looking at a beautiful woman, a young man with raging hormones is more likely to succumb to her advances than another less hormonal and more scholarly man who would examine the pros and cons of being with her. And if the man was created gay, a beautiful woman presents little or no temptation to him.

If God is able to know all things and do all things, all he had to do was tweak Adam's "free will" so that he couldn't have succumbed to the temptation of the forbidden fruit. Why should God blame Adam for not listening to him, when he created him to act that way? It wasn't Adam's fault that God didn't give him enough will power to resist the temptation He put before him. The "original sin" is actually God's own fault. Consequently, we did not need to be "redeemed" and there was no reason for Christ to die. If Christ was God and He suffered so brutally and died for some unnecessary reason, then the Christian God must be a masochist.

When I was in grammar school, I was an altar boy. One of the prayers we would say was to pound on our hearts three times and say the words "Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa," which when translated meant "Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault." I was just an innocent kid then, what could I have possibly done that was considered a grievous fault? Is it because God is like a "corporate alien" manager who always shifts the blame for his mistakes on to his employees? He made a flawed creation and blamed his creation for the flaw. None of this seems to make sense.

The Church itself was another reason I was driven from Christianity. One of Christianity's biggest spokesperson is the Catholic Church. This is the organization that, in the time of the Inquisition, burned scientists at the stake even when they were later proven to be right. This is the organization that Hitler admired in his book "Mein Kampf". This is the organization where American bishops covered up the actions of child abusing priests. Why would the true God ever want to be associated with such a group? For that matter, many of the world's religions that claim to know so much about God are really so heavily flawed in their dealings with man. How could they ever be God's representatives?I think that people believe in irrational religious ideas only because they look upon their churches as insurance policies for the hereafter. They don't want to take a chance on going to hell, and their priests use religious rules and "faith" to guarantee a pleasant afterlife.

Although I don't believe that Christ was God, I certainly admire his role as one of history's greatest philosophers. Christ questioned the Jewish religious establishment of his time. He actually criticized the sadistic God of the Old Testament and preached love and tolerance of everyone, and that could have given the religious leaders of the time enough reason to have him crucified. Believing he was married to Mary Magdalene, as suggested by "The Da Vinci Code," does not alter his philosophy. If anything, being married and raising a family would have given him a better look into the minds of the majority of his followers. I think, the main effect of "The Da Vinci Code" phenomenon, is to show us how intolerant some religious organizations are. They label the book and movie as "heresy". They boycott movie theaters. They forbid their followers to read the book or see the movie. This type of intolerance from religious groups extends to other areas as well. Why else can't Sunnis, Shiites, and Kurds coexist peacefully in Iraq? Why can't the Jews and Palestinians live together in their territories?When a religion tries to tell you that you can't read a book or see a movie, it is really insulting your intelligence. If you're really comfortable with your faith then someone else's beliefs will not affect you in any way. If you begin to question your beliefs, maybe it's because they're not right for you in the first place.

Leonardo Da Vinci, being a great scholar and scientist, probably hated the policies of the Catholic Church during his time. He could have had access to forbidden scriptures but was not able to speak out. His way of expressing such dangerous ideas could have been by placing hidden messages in his paintings. Unless more of his works are discovered, I don't think we'll ever know for sure.

He steals the bag and used the money for his personal problems. Twist in the tale arises when Manikyam Chandu kidnaps father and sister and asked her to return the money. What will Chandu do now? How could pay huge amount for Manikyam? and which does not appear Kriti Sanon in all this set up? Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points: -

Twists in the film were executed very well. Naga Chaitanya looks beautiful and has greatly improved his acting abilities. It is well suited role and chemistry with Kriti Sanon refreshing looks. The film has a lot of strong feelings that have been established well. The chase scene in the climax looks cool and was choreographed beautifully.Kriti Sanon looks gorgeous and has been cleverly used in the film. Brahmanandam is the main highlight during the last half hour of the film. His character elevates the film to a decent level and brings a lot of entertainment value. First half of the film moves casually enough and has enough thrilling moments.Posani is very good at the peak and so are his followers. The film's production values are very good and the way the story was conceived is interesting. Ravi Babu is suitable as a cunning police officer and brings a lot of depth to the film. Saptagiri is superb in his appearance.

Negative points: -

This film traces Swamy Ra Ra and in many scenes and history set up to remind you that the film instantly. Second half gets bogged down completely until Brahmanandam made an entry. Tracks are yet another drawback of the film. No songs register in your mind and have been wasted in the film.Bang interval is too simple and rushed up. Although the sensations are good, they take up too much screen time. Some logic is missing in the film and one can easily notice these flaws. Dohchay has very less mass elements and could limit its scope primarily to A centers.

Technical aspects :-

Dohchay is quite high on technical values. the camera work is brilliant and the manager so Sudheer Varma conceptualizes the whole movie looks good. As said earlier, music is the weakest point in the film. But Sunny M R impresses with its decent background score. Film script is good and picks up during orgasm.written dialogues are suitable and appropriate to the nature of the film. Coming to the Director Sudheer Varma, one can easily feel that he is still in the hangover of Swamy Ra Ra, and chose a very similar script. But he earns brownie points by adding some playful elements and raises the tempo during the end which is very important for a film.

Verdict: -

Overall, Dohchay some very stylish action sequences. An interesting premise, well executed first half and a last half hour hilarious are huge assets.
