Okay fingers up, how many of you have seen this movie? May not be a blockbuster or a box office hit hindi movie but it is definitely worth a watch. Perhaps more than once. Why? Just imagine, Sanjay Dutt tackling his enemy by following the principles of Mahatma Gandhi. For the uninitiated, he is a beefcaked bollywood actor with a really mean mafia look who looks like a former Brisbane Lions regular player. I was referring to the former of course.

This is definitely one of my favourite movies as the story, screenplay and entertainment factors are brought up very well. This movie goes down as one of the most meaningful movies in Indian film industry. The essence of the movie is about applying the teachings of Gandhi in today's world and downright hilariousness is ensured from the pairing of Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt. Hahaha... watch it. No seriously... watch it.

Story:

This is the second installment to the Munnabhai MBBS movie series. The kind hearted don, Munnabhai (played by Sanjay Dutt), researches day and night on Mahatma Gandhi in order to impress the lady of his dreams and that is when Gandhi appears in front of him either as a soul or a figment of Munnabhais hallucination. An adventure then starts in a meaningful way for him where he learns how to deal with people and their problems by applying Gandhis principles.

Screenplay:

Perhaps the sole challenge of the movie is the application of Gandhis philosophy to solve todays people related problems and it is carried out so well in the movie. The comic timing of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi is flawless. Boman Irani, in his typical fashion of doing something different in each movie, contributes further to the comedy by portraying a very stereotypical image of a Sardar. Even though the comedy does justice to the entertainment factor on a high scale, it does not deviate from the central theme and is able to deliver all the messages beautifully.

Cinematography:

Cinematography is done fairly well according to a typical Indian movie standard.

Video Editing:

There is not much video editing for the movie since there is no need for it. It is mainly focused in songs, especially in the Pal Pal song sang by Bollywood melody queen, Shreya Ghoshal.

In "The Enchanted Cottage," a homely, self-effacing maid and a blind, crippled war hero fall in love. Headaches and blurred vision during and after 3D movies is usually a result of strained eyes. Normally when an object moves toward you your eyes converge (move inward) and follow its path and also accommodate (change the lens shape) to keep the object in focus.

However, when watching a 3D movie, as your eyes try to follow the objects that move off the screen toward you they converge to follow the object but can not accommodate because they must stay focused on the screen, rather than the object. This unnatural movement often causes headaches and blurred vision.

A University of California Berkeley dubbed this effect "vergence accommodation conflict" and found that people in their 50's and 60's were less likely to experience side effects while younger people may struggle more.

What You Can Do

Most theaters with newer technology use a single projector to alternate between both the right-eye and left-eye images (as opposed to the old-fashioned approach of using two projectors) at a rate of 144 times per second. This minimizes the properties that caused headaches among viewers.

Older stereoscopic glasses (with one red and one blue lens) may also contribute to headaches, so finding a theater with new technology will help reduce your chances of coming out of the movie with a headache. Also, trying not to look at the unfocussed parts of the image may help keep headaches under control.


Motion Sickness

Movies done in 3D confuse your brain when they trick your inner ear into thinking you are moving while your body knows it is sitting still. When this confusion happens, people often experience motion sickness, headaches, and nausea.

Movie Musical Success: What Are the Key Factors?

Have you ever wondered why one movie musical receives critical acclaim and maybe even an Academy Award and another movie based on an equally good Broadway musical ends up on a studio shelf, rarely seen after its initial release? There are several key factors necessary for any movie musical to become a great film. These factors include a strong story line and well-written screenplay, quality music, great casting, and effective direction. In this article I explain these factors by comparing two movies based on successful Broadway musicals by Lerner and Loewe.

Have you ever wondered why one movie musical receives critical acclaim and maybe even an Academy Award and another movie based on an equally good Broadway musical ends up on a studio shelf, rarely seen after its initial release? There are several key factors that lead to a quality movie musical. These factors include a strong story line and well-written screenplay, quality music, great casting, and effective direction. Great choreography is often a plus but a movie musical, unlike a Broadway musical, can be a quality movie without elaborate dances. In this article, I compare two movie musicals based on successful Lerner and Loewe Broadway musicals -- "My Fair Lady" and "Camelot" -- and I discuss why "My Fair Lady" was an acclaimed, award-winning movie that is still viewed and loved by millions of people and why "Camelot" has become a mostly forgotten film.
Both plays were successes on Broadway, although "My Fair Lady" did receive more praises than "Camelot" and it ran for a significantly longer time. Nevertheless, "Camelot" had a healthy initial Broadway run and both plays have had three short-run revivals on Broadway. Also, both plays earned Tony awards for their male leads and Tony nominations for Julie Andrews, the leading female star in both plays. Yet, the movies based on the plays had vastly different outcomes, with "My Fair Lady" garnering eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor, and Camelot earning only three minor awards. So, where did "Camelot," the movie, go wrong?
Plot and ScreenplayBoth plays and movies were based on good works of literature -- "My Fair Lady" on the play "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw, and "Camelot" on the book "The Once and Future King" by T. H. White. The screenplays were both authored by an experienced and award-winning author, Alan Jay Lerner, who also wrote the lyrics for the songs in both works. Therefore, the story lines and screenplays do not seem to be where the differences lie. In fact, the plot of "Camelot," with its historic setting, romantic entanglements and scenes of chivalry and war, made it a better vehicle for film than "My Fair Lady" with its dialog-filled, actionless scenes.
Quality MusicThe scores from "My Fair Lady" and "Camelot," both written by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner, are wonderful, with a good blend of beautiful melodies and sometimes poignant and other times humorous lyrics. Both shows had one major hit romantic ballad -- "On the Street Where You Live" for "My Fair Lady" and "If Ever I Would Leave You" for "Camelot" -- and both songs were dubbed in the movies by professional singers. The songs for the male lead are more melodious in "Camelot" and, at least in the movie version, the male lead, Richard Harris, had a better singing voice than Rex Harrison had in "My Fair Lady." With basically equivalent scores, it seems that it is not the music that distinguishes the two works.
CastingAlthough Richard Harris was the perfect King Arthur, casting is one major area where the movie version of "Camelot" fell short of its potential. Both plays starred Julie Andrews and her beautiful voice added much to the already great scores, but, unfortunately, she was not cast as the female lead in either film. However, the producers of the movie version of "My Fair Lady" had the good sense to hire Audrey Hepburn who was perfectly cast as Eliza Doolittle. She had the innocence and fragility needed for the role with just enough fire in her to finally rebel against Henry Higgins, while still leaving the audience sympathetic to her. On the other hand, the female lead in "Camelot," Vanessa Redgrave, although an extremely gifted actress, was miscast as Guenevere. She presents the character as a cold, selfish woman who is indifferent to the tragedy she brings to her husband and his empire. Unfortunately, she was permitted to do her own singing with the result of a lessening of the impact of some of the songs in "Camelot." On the other hand, Audrey Hepburn's singing was dubbed by Marni Nixon, a singer with a beautiful, trained voice.
The casting of the third lead character in each film also differed in quality. In "My Fair Lady," Colonel Pickering was played by a distinguished English actor, Wilfrid Hyde-White, whose acting was excellent. Unfortunately, the key role of Lancelot in "Camelot" was played by a novice Italian actor, Franco Nero, with limited command of English. Although he certainly fit the role physically, with his exceptional good looks, his acting was stiff and his delivery of lines was almost robotic.
The male leads in both films were perfect. In fact, the casting of Richard Harris probably saved "Camelot" from being a disaster. He was so well-cast as King Arthur that after the film, he became associated with the role and played it in several major productions, including one on Broadway and one in London.
DirectionBoth movies had well-known and well-respected directors, but their approaches to directing the films were vastly different. George Cukor, the director of "My Fair Lady," let the story and music give the movie its strength and character. There were no special effects used and no unique filming techniques, but, rather, just good direction of excellent actors and actresses performing on studio lots. Cukor used the strong screenplay and beautiful music of "My Fair Lady" to guide his direction.
On the other hand, Joshua Logan, the director of "Camelot," used far too many close-ups that had the audience focused on the leads' make-up rather than on the strong plot and music. In some scenes, instead of presenting a natural context for appreciating the songs or dialog, Logan chose to fill the large screen with the actors faces, resulting in a distracting rather than enhancing effect.
ConclusionAlthough both "My Fair Lady" and "Camelot" had the potential to be great films, "Camelot" lacked two of the four factors necessary for a quality movie musical. These factors, strong story line and well-written screenplay, quality music, great casting, and effective direction, could be used to compare other movie musicals, for example, "Gigi" and "Brigadoon" or "Oklahoma" and "South Pacific," and the results would be similar. A movie musical that is deficient in even one of the four factors could make the difference between a film that lives on for generations or one that gets lost on a shelf.

Story: -

The film's story is based on the life of two factional groups in the village Karlapoodi of Guntur district. Sivaramakrishna (Sathyaraj) leads a group and still faces opposition Trimurthulu (Chalapathi Rao) and his son. On the other hand, Srinu (Adith) is a young aggressive Sivaramakrishna disciple who falls for his daughter Gauri (Dimple Chopde).
Twist in the tale arises when Sivaramakrishna comes from knowing the love story of his daughter. This is also the time when the enemy decides to attack Sivaramakrishna group. Rest of the story is how the love story of Gauri and Srinu survives all these problems, and what happens to gang wars in the village.

Plus Points: -

Satyaraj is the major asset of the film and gives a decent performance. His expressions and screen presence during the height is good. Adith Arun is decent in his role, but gets limited scope to perform. Dimple Chopde seems apt as a beautiful town and gels well with the story.
How the history has been established in the rural area seems convincing. The production values are very good that the film is presented in natural light. First half of the film is ok and has some decent entertainment.Jabardasth Sreenu Naveen and Josh are very good in their respective roles. highlight of the film was well executed. All the scenes of achievement during the climax was designed very well.

Negative points: -

major drawback of the film is the lack of freshness in the script. Stories with a faction of the background were treated many times in the past. After starting on a positive note, the character of the hero is deviated and lost direction in the end.The film's story begins majorly during the second half. Narration is below par as procedures during this time do not create effect. Yet another major drawback is the predictable nature of the script. Soon to tell, you are exactly aware of what will happen next. The hero fall in love with the daughter of his boss, village politics, everything seems so outdated.Emotions have shown absolutely no impact as all the scenes in the second half are common. The are many logical that are lacking in the film. Some characters and their approach was not justified clearly.

Technical aspects:-

Camerawork in the film is very good and promotes rural areas extremely well. Scenario is a huge disadvantage, because none of the scenes to create an impact. Music is about right, but the background score is decent. Dialogues are good and gel with the mood of the film as well.Director Srinivasa Krishna had an interesting idea, but the way he performed the film is below par. Not once during the film you excited to proceedings. The way the director also spoke with the hero's character does not focus

Verdict:-

Overall Tungabhadra is a product below par of the house of Vaarahi. A first half decent, some comedy scenes and emotional climax are some assets. On the other hand, a routine story, delayed narration and story line of the predictable spoils the mood of the film. All who love the rustic village of dramas can give this film a shot.

Bow Wow plays Kevin Carson, a nice kid with a bigimagination who lives in the projects with his grandmother (played by LorettaDevine). When Kevin is not spending time hanging out with his best friendsBenny (played by Brandon T. Jackson) and Stacie (Naturi Naughton), he works atthe local Foot Locker. Kevin dreams of one day of running his own shoe designcompany, but is constantly derided by people who tell him he will never get outof the projects.

The Powerball lottery has just come to town, causing quite alot of excitement as people in the neighborhood spend their money trying to getrich. Kevin tells anyone who will listen that the lottery is just a racketdesigned to keep poor people poor. But soon he too gets caught up in the fever,and he eventually purchases a ticket using the numbers given to him in afortune cookie.

As luck would have it, Kevins ticket ends up being thewinner of the $370 million Powerball jackpot. But since its the beginning 4thof July weekend the lottery office is closed for 3 days. Now most people inthat situation might hold up in a motel or their own bedroom for 3 days untilthe lottery office reopens but after accidently letting it slip that he wonthe millions, Kevin folds the ticket into his wallet in his back pocket andspends 3 days walking around the projects.

The rest of the movie deals with Kevin trying to hold ontohis ticket as everyone comes out of the woodwork to get a piece of the prize.

Comedian Mike Epps has a short but memorable cameo as theBaptist minister who after learning of the winning ticket tries to get hishands on some of the money. He is faithful to his flock but cant help thinkingabout his possible future with that kind of cash. Epps is very funny and itmakes you wish he had a larger role.

Loretta Devine is perfect as Kevins grandmother who alwayshas a Praise-Jesus ready to recite. She is proud of how Kevin is growing upand is concerned about what all that money could do to him.

A couple of old-time gangsters (played by Keith David andTerry Crews) front Kevin a bridge-loan on his winnings and become a realproblem.

Teairra Mari plays a local gold-digging temptress who triesusing sex to latch onto Kevins millions. A real hottie, she tries to get Kevinto impregnate her, but hes smart enough to say no.

But Kevins most dangerous neighbor turns out to be hardcorecriminal Lorenzo (played by Gbenga Akinnagbe). Lorenzo already dislikes Kevinbecause Kevin refused to give him free shoes from Foot Locker. So when Lorenzolearns that Kevin is walking around with $370 million in his pocket he decidesthat he will stop at nothing including killing to get that money.

By far funniest character with the best lines has to beKevins best friend Benny. He is always trying to come up with the big ideas,and when he sees that Kevin is being harassed by everyone he passes on thestreet he comes up with an absurd but very funny plot to escape the town usingan old Underground Railroad map from his high school history book. Fantastic.

Lottery Ticket is a very cute movie with some amusing andthoughtful commentary about sexual responsibility and the need to be charitableto your community.

Trump: Unauthorized. Missed the Movie? Here's the Scoop!

On Tuesday May 24 @ 9pm EST ABC Network aired the television movie: Trump Unauthorized. Surprisingly I only knew about the movie because of the ad in the TV Guide. The movie begins with Donald Trump as a boy playing with a plane with only one wing. A few seconds later we're launched into Trump as an adult looking to do his first real estate project in New York. He earns the funds from others putting their money into the project. At times the Donald may seem ruthless. His father against his ideas, finding them foolish. But none the less he helps his son when he needs some financial aid. There are 3 deaths shown in his life, one of a heart attack and 2 partners due to a helicopter crash.

It shows how The Donald meet Ivana at a restaurant and scenes later they are married. As more accomplishments from hard work are reached, so isn't the tension between Ivana and her husband. At a book signing for his book: "The Art of The Deal", he meets Marla Maples. They spend sometime together and Ivana finds out. While at a ski lodge, The Donald stands watching while Ivana tells Marla to stay away from her husband. Problems then sir when Trump has expense problems right when he opens the Casino in Atlanta City, NJ. He refuses to file bankruptcy. The story has a happy ending when the Donald comes out on top once again. His marriage doesn't. At the end of the movie it reads he divorced Ivana, married Marla Maples, divorced her and married Melania Knauss. A small scene shows The Apprentice producer meeting with the Donald.

The movie at times had me in awe. Perhaps it was because many can relate to relatives not being supportive or the constant battles he went through against all odds. If you like The Apprentice, Check out this movie to get a better idea of The Donald in action!

Enjoy the Ultimate Career Change by Following Your Dreams

If you want to find work that is meaningful, fulfilling and exciting then it is time to reawaken your ability to dream.  Most of us used to dream big at one time or another.  We dreamed of being a movie star, sports hero, a princess or the richest person on the planet.  Then we begin hearing things like, "Be practical." "You have to be realistic!" "You'll never make any money doing that!" This for many of us, is the beginning of the end of dreaming. 

One of the major roadblocks to dreaming is the fear of disappointment.  "What if I go for my dream and it isn't what I want?"  or even worse "What if I go for my dreams and fail?"  Many times we avoid taking action towards our true passions because it is SO important to us that if we fail it would just be too painful. Really though, what is too painful?  Would you prefer to live life in a dull, boring way covering up your dreams so that you'll be "safe" from possible failure or would it be more fun to dream wildly, with abandon and follow your desires?  One of my favorite quotes is by Robert Fritz, "If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise."  Is that what you want? Compromise?

In the path towards your dreams you WILL have obstacles, perceived failures and fear but the payoff will be a feeling of meaning in your life.   The reward will be a renewed excitement, passion  and the internal rightness that only comes from having the bravery to follow your heart.

Are you ready to unleash your wonderful imagination and let the dreaming begin?  I hope so!  As  a Life Coach working with hundreds of people I have found that the only way to get clear on the career change you REALLY want is to allow yourself to dream wildly.  So let's get started!  Have paper and pen handy and I will walk you through one of the exercises I use with my life coaching clients. 

Think about what your ideal job would look like.  Where would you work?  Inside?  At home?  Outside?  What kind of people would you be working with?  Would you be working alone?  What would you be doing?  How much would you make?  (This is where many people jump back to the safety of "realism".  I don't want to see you writing, "Oh, I just want to make enough to get by."  Stop! What do you really want in financial reward?  Let's play big!)  What will you be accomplishing?  Which of your passions will you be using?  What kind of recognition will you receive?

I can hear some of you saying, "How am I supposed to do this exercise when I have no idea what career I would be passionate about?"  My answer is to just guess.  Write down what you do know about your ideal work.  Leave the rest open.  It is important to explore what you know you are attracted to and see where it will lead.  Martha Beck in  her book, "The Joy Diet" tells a wonderful story of a client's journey towards his passion.  Alan hated his job and wanted a career change.  The problem was he was so burned out he felt passionless.  The only thing that interested him were cars.  He thought maybe he wanted to hang out around race cars.  So he begin to go to the race track on the weekends.  As he was watching the cars he realized it wasn't satisfying enough.  He wanted to touch the cars.  When he allowed himself to run his hands over the smooth metal it dawned on him.  It wasn't the cars he loved, it was the shaped metal!  Alan now owns his own design business making beautiful, original furniture and in his spare time he creates metal sculptures .  Where will your desires lead you?  I dare you to find out!

One of this year's box office hits was the movie, Polar Express. It's a wonderful story about the power of believing.

It is Christmas Eve and a little boy waits in his bed hoping to hear the bells of Santa's sleigh. As he anxiously waits for the reindeer to appear, a mysterious train pulls up in front of his house and the conductor invites him on board. The train is the Polar Express, and it is headed to the North Pole.

As the story unfolds, we learn that, "It doesn't matter where the train is going. What is important is deciding to get on." It is a gentle reminder to us all of how important it is to believe and follow our dreams.

Standing on the Platform

How many trains have you let go by in your life because you were uncertain of where they were going? How often have you found yourself standing on the station platform watching trains come and go, trying to decide which one was the right one for you? There you stand, frozen in indecision, as the world passes you by.

In order to keep growing and learning, we need to keep our lives moving. Water that doesn't run becomes stagnant, and the same is true of our lives. We need to be willing to try new things and be open to new experiences. We also need to trust that the process of life will take us to where we want to go if we remain aware and take advantage of the possibilities and opportunities that are constantly being put in front of us.

Jen was in the process of finding a new job. She was a college professor who had been recently laid off. She had been in education for a while, and although she had several other professional interests, she was having a difficult time actually visualizing herself in any other field.

As Jen stood on the station platform, the only trains that she felt comfortable boarding were the ones that were heading toward the academic world. But is that where she truly wanted to go? On the other hand, the trains that were headed in different directions were too scary to board. So, she felt completely stuck, unable to move in any direction.

Getting on Board

Jen soon realized that taking any train would serve her better than just sitting on the platform, so she took a leap of faith and decided to board the next train that came along. This train took her to an informational interview with the head of local environment group.

Environmental issues had always been something that interested her, but she had never envisioned it as a profession. The interview went very well. Jen immediately connected with the director, and she came away with an extensive list of people and organizations to call for further information and possible job opportunities.

This experience bolstered Jen's sense of adventure, so she decided to jump on the next train that came by. This train was headed to a job interview at a local college. The position sounded promising and Jen certainly had all the qualifications. So, she boarded the train with great confidence, only to find at the end of the ride that education really didn't interest her anymore.

The interview had gone well. They asked her back, but it had become clear to Jen during the interview process that she no longer wanted to work in the college setting. The passion and excitement that she once had felt was gone. It was time to move on to whatever her next career path might be.

There is No Wrong Train

It could be argued that Jen had boarded the wrong train because it didn't end up taking her where she wanted to go. Yet, had she not gotten on that train, she would have always have had questions about whether or not she should leave education. Now she knows, and she can pursue other interests with her full and focused attention.

It will take some time for her to sort out exactly what it is that will rekindle her passion. But she knows something is out there waiting for her; and she is excited about all the possibilities and the process of creating a totally new career path. All she has to do is to hang on to her willingness to take a risk and step off the platform.

The answers we seek are not always right in front of us. We sometimes have to take a longer and more circuitous route than we would like to reach our destination. Our journey may require many trains; and if we hold ourselves back from boarding even one of the trains on our route, we may never truly reach our goal.

So, the next time a train comes your way, jump on board and take advantage of all the things you would have missed had you let it go by.

Grab the Headlines; Craft a Compelling Press Release

Doesn't it amaze you that the media continues to report on every move
Elizabeth Taylor makes? She hasn't
made a movie in what, 25 years? And yet, every time she sneezes,
its news.

Here, in India, Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra hogs the headlines. What
has she ever done, apart from marrying a non-entity and
producing babies? And yet, the press follows her around on a
daily basis.

The point is -- if the media can make space for someone who
hasn't really done anything interesting, they sure can give you a plug or
two.

Almost any event can be turned into news if you craft a compelling press
release. That means your press release must be "newsworthy", not promotional
material. Editors do not like promotion; they like news. You have a good
chance of getting a plug if your press release can convince the editor that:

You are offering timely and newsworthy information
Your company is new and different
You are doing something unique or are specialized in nature

Editors want news, a "different angle". They want to publish something that
their readers will like to read. Always remember this and you will never go
wrong with your release.

Here are a few tips to get you going.....

Develop a News Hook
Not every event is earth shaking. But even ordinary happenings can be turned
into a "newsworthy" affair. All you need to do is create a "hook" -
something unusual, maybe even bizarre that hooks the reader's
attention and keeps it. Often such hooks are a simple stunt;
e.g. the day "Turok 2: The Evolution" was launched, the gaming
company released large ads with a proposition for the public.
Parents of a child born on that day would get a $10,000 savings
certificate as a gift if they named their baby Turok. The ad
had its intended effect as numerous newspapers devoted thousands
of column inches to debating the ethics of this offer.

The Big Picture
Tie in your activities with a larger concern. When a
considerable number of people are affected by something, it
automatically becomes news. A veterinary pharmaceutical company
needed publicity for its mastitis care product. It sent out a
press release that stated,
"Mastitis costs dairy sector Rs. 6053 crores ($1.26 billion) every year"
Having grabbed the
editor's attention with the sheer magnitude of this problem, it then offered
its product as a solution. You can be pretty sure all the editors carried
this news.

Pyramid Structure
Newspaper reporters follow the Pyramid style of writing. All pertinent
information is contained in the first paragraph. Subsequent paragraphs
elaborate. Historically, editors have had a tendency to cut short the
reporter's
copy. So reporters developed this style to ensure that the
readers get the complete story even if only one paragraph of
their copy is printed.

Follow the same style when you write a release. Write a strong
leading paragraph with the most critical information. Your first
paragraph should answer the main questions: who, what, where,
when, why and how. This ensures that if the editor decides to
use just the first few paragraphs, all the information you want
to convey gets printed.

Watch your Words
Keep your release clutter-free. Use short, crisp sentences.
Break up large chunks of text into short paragraphs. Research
shows that paragraphs of 5-6 easily digestible lines help the
reader understand the subject, even if it is complex.

Avoid buzzwords, jargons, technical language and acronyms. Be
Balanced. Junk the hyperbole. Fancy fonts and vivid colors are
out. Editors prefer standard fonts like Arial (10 points) or
Times New Roman (12 points).

Finally, do a word count. A good release says what it wants in
less than 500 words.

Spice it up. Just a Little
Include at least one hard-hitting quote in your press release.
It's your best shot at getting into newspaper column space. Reporters would
rather include a smart, concise quote in their story than give a lengthy
explanation or summary.

Quotes are an opportunity to emphasize your key points, so quoting your CEO
or top executive is a good idea. Supporting quotes from analysts and
customers add credibility to the announcement and key the reporter in to the
fact that there are people available that they might be able to interview
for a story.

Make yourself available
Reporters like to dig for more information. They are always trying to find a
"different slant". They may not want to print a standard press release. They
are more likely to contact you for a personal quote or unpublished
information. So, make it easy for them to contact you. In your release,
include the line, "For further information and clarifications, contact
So-and-so." Give your contact information: phone, fax, email, and office
address. And then, be available. And have some extra information to share.

Create a Press Kit
The press kit includes a background piece, press releases, photos of your
executives or your products, more story ideas, reprints of previous articles
about your business, a list of customer references and anything else that
the media might find newsy or just be a simple fact sheet on you and your
company. The media may not use everything you give them. But they will keep
it for future reference. And it's
a great way to build a relationship with the press.

If you have got this far, you must have grasped the secret by
now. The trick to a compelling press release is very simple.
Learn to think like a reporter. Put yourself in her shoes.
Anticipate her needs. Then, write a release that answers her
questions. Before she can ask them. Simple,
isn't it?
