Was driver killed in Tesla Model S Autopilot crash watching a movie?

Joshua Brown -- the man who died in what could be the first fatal accident involving Tesla’s Autopilot feature -- may have been watching a movie in the car dvd player and the android car GPSwas working when the crash took place.

According to the Associated Press, the driver of the truck Brown fatally collided with said that Brown was watching a “Harry Potter” film while the accident took place; the movie reportedly kept playing in the android car stereo after the accident.

Sergeant Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol later spoke with Reuters and confirmed that “there was a portable car DVD player in the vehicle.”

The AP also reported that Brown also had eight speeding tickets on his records; however, the most recent one was from 2011.

Brown had a long and well-documented history of Autopilot use. Two months ago, he uploaded a video of the system “saving his life.” The dash cam video shows a boom truck drive into the lane of the Tesla Model S by using gm navigation and then shows the Tesla swerve out of harm's way.

Brown himself mentions in the video description, “You can see where I took over when there's a little bit of blip in the steering. Tessy [sic] had already moved to the right to avoid the collision. I was not able to slow down even more due to the heavy traffic (cars were behind me). Once I got behind him I slowly added more room between us until he exited. I was not tail gating [sic] after the incident.”

The video of Brown dodging the boom truck is just one of many of his Tesla-related YouTube uploads.

Some might think that autopilot performed the evasive maneuver completely independently by gm navigation; that's not quite the case. In reality, the system moved subtly -- and notified Brown to pay attention and retake control of the car.

Movie Quotes's Important Information

Movies are nothing when you can't keep in mind a line, or two, or three. Movie lines, particularly quotes, are but importantto a movie. They make up the entire momentum of the movie.

A movie is nothing if you can't even remember its lines. Movie lines, particularly quotes, are but crucialto a movie. They make up the entire momentum of the movie. Depending on a movie type, a goodmovie is best remembered with their quotes. Quotes are not spices in a movie, but they are the main ingredients. Throughquotes, a movie is best remembered.A quote from the Jerry Maguire movie (1996), "You complete me" A lot may agree, this line is accurate with movies too. The partof a quote makes a movie complete.
There are many varieties of movies today. Categories like suspense, action, love story, and comedy are just some watchable and interesting movies. Movies havedifferentstyle and they give you feelings like terror, may make you jump out of your seat, fury or anger, and other feel good movies with excitement and affection. Quotes are associations between you and the movie you are watching. Many movies are unremarkable. Yet, what makes a nicemovie? Do you really need a talented actor or the unsurpassed director? Can delivering a quote or line essential to a movie? It is so significant. Even without good actors and directors, it is significantfor quotes to inculcate in your thoughts. They hit you fast and hard.
The movies freshly watched movie today is the Sci-Fi thriller by the famous producer Steven Spielberg and well-know writer-and-director J.J. Abrams-Super 8. Setting is in Ohio with the occurrence of a train accident. A setof friends is trying to film a movie when the speedingtrain destroys a pick-up truck. The locals begin to speculate with the disappearance and train incident. Interesting thriller movies allure more when they have decent quotes. Tree of Life is anotherinspiring movie to watch. TheTree of Life movie, a story of love and brotherhood, is starred with famous actors Brad Pitt and Sean Penn. Mr. O'Brien, as starred by Brad Pitt, quoted in this movie, "Unless you love, your life will flash by." It is a unforgettable line. It is brief, simplebut a honest one.
Feel-good movies are also unforgettable. They make us feel excellent and relaxed. The movie Kung Fu Panda 2 has so many quotes to live by. One quote is by Po, the Dragon Warrior that states, "How can Kung Fu stop something that stops Kung Fu?" Sounds like a tongue twister? A new hilarious movie is the Bridesmaids; a story of Annie who is awful at love and is being stuck as a Maid of Honor to her best friend's wedding. With Annie and her bridesmaids (with whom have different characters), they go into one adventure from another in order toorganizeLillian's big day. It has so many quotes, commonly funny ones. This is why funnyquotes are so memorable.

Are There More Than One Killer Rabbits?

The first 'Killer Rabbit' was a fictional beast created for the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Then there came the true story of President Carter and the Killer Rabbit, when the Killer Rabbit decided to take a swim. Since then we have seen many killer rabbits.

The Killer Rabbit of Caebannog was first introduced as a fictitious beast in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Bors, one of King Arthur's manly knights of the round table, had been ordered to cut off the head of the Guardian Beast, known as the White Rabbit. Boldly wielding his sword, Bors approached the Cave, only to have his head chopped off by the Killer. All this was accompanied by the sound of a tin opener at work. The knights then mounted a frontal attack, only to be driving off by the Guardian Beast.

We find the next appearance of the Killer Rabbit in the musical, Spamalot, inspired by Monty Python's movie. This had been inspired by Shakespear's Hamelot.
Only four years after the release of the Holy Grail movie, the Killer Rabbit made the headlines once more. President Jimmy Carter, while trying to take a break from the pressures of office, was fishing in a pond in a canoe in Georgia. All of a sudden he was faced with a desperate looking rabbit, swimming directly towards his boat. "Its teeth flashing, hissing menacingly and nostrils flared, it frantically tried to find a safe haven". The President's Secret Service men were caught flatfooted.

As the President had no weapon on him at the time, he was forced to use the oar against the killer rabbit, so as to protect himself. Fortunately for all involved, the rabbit decided to turn tail and swim for shore. A White House photographer was able to capture the incident on film. However, as with all Killer Rabbit photos, it was said they were flushed down the Presidential toilet, not to be seen again. Since that time, however, there have been reports of many Killer Rabbits.

Next there came a killer rabbit card game and a series of interactive fiction books the Grailquest. Amonster rabbit was featured in the 1980 Dungeon and Dragons. Television was not to be out done and gave us Xena, the Warrior Princess, fighting a fierce, fanged rabbit.

Cyber Space presented us with a psychopathic rabbit, in the comic Sluggy Freelance. We have had killer rabbit slippers, killer rabbit dolls and killer rabbit t-shirts. Finally we have Dean Hunt's killer rabbit video, which ran riot on the social network, hitting the front page of DIGG.

Now rumour has it that Dean's Killer Rabbit has a mate, who has immigrated to Vanuatu, a tiny tropical island nation, the home of travel adventure destination of the South Pacific. It has been thought that Dean's Killer Rabbit may be going to a secret rendezvous with MKRVu (Ms Killer Rabbit, Vanuatu) later this year. Stay tuned as we bring you more in the 'Killer Rabbit' series.

The Dentist was a horror film made in 1996. Directed by Brian Yuzna, the screenplay was written by Dennis Paoli. In the film, Dr. Alan Feinstone is played by actor Corbin Bernsen while Brook Feinstone is played by talented Linda Hoffman. Actor Ken Foree plays a detective in the film, known as Detective Gibbs. According to the production notes, the film was inspired by the real life serial killer who was also working in dentistry, Nick Rex.

The film begins very calm and normal as with many modern horror films. Dr. Feinstone is wealthy and successful, has a gorgeous wife, amazing home, and steady income as a popular dentist. As he is obsessed with order around his office, he is very much one for structure and cleanliness.

One day Feinstone witnesses his wife, Brooke, having an affair with their pool boy. He then pulls out a pistol and begins to follow the culprit home when he leaves Brooke. Distraught, he goes back to work and his life begins to spiral downward. Eventually he imagines female patients as his own wife and begins to harass them while they are sedated.

Eventually Dr. Feinstone is caught by a waiting husband of one of his female patients and is sued for sexual harassment and malpractice. As the movie continues, the doctor is face with more negative life alterations that lead him to a life of a sadistic dental practitioner, tracking victims while he is unsuspected by law enforcement.

Without spoiling the ending for readers, the film takes several dark twists down a dark, horror-filled road as Dr. Feinstone stabs and severs and tortures many unsuspecting victims. Based on the true events of a former dentist turned serial killer, the movie is definite must see for those who enjoy 90s era horror films or who enjoy getting the chills from two things many fear: dentistry and murder!

The original release date for the film was aptly chosen before Halloween, premiering on October 18th, 1996. The film ran for 29 minutes and had a budget of 2.6 million dollars. While many horror movies from its time obtained low critical acclaim, this film followed as many cult classics have before and even after its time. Since the premier of its sequel, director Brian Yunza has gone on to direct even more underground horrors such as Faust, Beyond Reanimator, Bride of Reanimator, Rottweiler, Beneath Still Water, and Amphibious 3D.

A sequel was made in 1998 and the special effects coordinator won awards for each at various film festivals. It is also worth noting that Marc Ruffalo makes an appearance in the film as one of his first roles ever. Truly spine tingling and chilling, this film is a great watch for a stormy night - especially if you're the type of movie buff that loves to place themselves in cinematographic fear.

An Agent of Change

Change is everywhere. We look back only a few short years and we see the rapid evolution of the Internet and of the communications business. Remember your first cell phone? Seems decades ago, doesn't it? Now we get email and instant messages, buy stocks and movie tickets ... all on our cell phones. My, how things have changed!

As we move into this brave new world of the 21st Century we must know how we respond to change because change will be one of the most common themes we see. But how *we* respond to change is only one part of the equation. To prepare to deal with change we must also recognize that the people we work with will be undergoing the same paradigm shifts as we.

Do we help or hinder? Are we agents of change or missionaries for the status quo?No matter how you feel about change, here are three practical things you can do to make living in a world of change just a little smoother.

1. Let others be themselves.

Develop an awareness of how others around you adapt to change. Some people just are not comfortable with technology. Or open communication. If we want to help others grow, let's give them the freedom to adapt to change on their schedule and in their own way. Bottom line, if someone just doesn't get this email thing (or thinks it's a fad!) be willing to use the phone if that is what they need.

2. Be open minded.

Some change is good, some bad. Not all new technology works, especially at first. And you can take notes faster on a legal pad than a Palm Pilot. The key here, as in most of life, is balance. Know yourself and give yourself permission to use a blend of tools that's right for you. Don't feel compelled to use the "latest and greatest" unless it improves your life or increases your productivity.

3. Untrain your brain.

Many of us grew up in the 50's. Our Dad's worked for one company until they retired. The loved the company. The trusted the company. Today things can be different indeed. Now we talk about our "third career", the one we'll have *after* we retire. This is not to say that the loyalty and goodwill created in the 50's has no place today. It is to say that we live in a different world, a different time. Does your thinking reflect today, or your parent's today?

4. Know yourself.

Are you an early adopter? [If you know what that term means, you probably are!] An early adopter is that person who is the first on the block to embrace new technology. They had a Palm pilot at about the same time others moved from a legal pad to a Franklin planner. *They* are the ones trading stock on the cell phone! ;)

Whether you are an early adopter or a "I like things as they are" person (or somewhere in between) it is important to know that and act accordingly. The last thing your productivity needs is to fight a losing battle with the changing times for no reason. You are just as free to use the legal pad as the Palm. What works for you is the right choice.

This world will keep on changing whether we fight it or not. The good news is that we are free to do *our* thing in this world, whether that thing is using a pencil or a keyboard.

People will react to change differently. Celebrate your differences, don't let them become a stumbling block.

European Cruise - Not All Barges Are the Same!

What image comes to mind when you hear the word barge? Most likely, an American will visualize a long low-slung cargo vessel situated on a river or the Great Lakes, dirty and loaded with coal or iron ore. The idea of a barge cruise may be reminiscent of an old black and white movie where the hero leaves home at a young age on a cheap tramp steamer to seek his fortune in the great world beyond. Or a barge cruise might bring to mind long-haired hippies of the 1960s traveling through Europe on $3 a day. Nothing could be further from the truth!

The only resemblance between an American cargo barge and a European cruising barge is the long low-slung shape and overall proportions. A European cruising barge is, in reality, an exclusive and elegant means of travel. These barges are also called floating hotels due to the preponderance of amenities and staff.

Forget the thought of a tiny pigeon-hole stateroom just above the waterline of a 2,000 passenger cruise ship. All staterooms in a floating hotel are spacious and well-appointed, more like suites that you find on a cruise ship. Staterooms typically feature twin beds and a private bath. On luxury barge cruises, you will find even larger cabins and modern conveniences such as TV, jacuzzi, and computer hook-up. You have all the amenities of home, including air conditioning, carpeting, a commons area, a dining area and, of course, a bar.

The European barge cruise is an intimate and personal experience as barges typically accommodate as few as 4 people up to as many as 24. Each barge is staffed with a personal chef who prepares gourmet meals from locally purchased ingredients to please guests as well as a captain who pilots the vessel and stateroom staff. A cruise with 6 people can be served by as many as 4 staff members.

Barge cruises are available on most of the rivers and canals in Europe. You can experience up-close the beauty and cultural sites of Belgium, England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, or Scotland. The pace of a barge cruise is leisurely. The itinerary includes stopping at historic and cultural places of interest along the cruising route. You can sightsee on foot or on bicycles that are available onboard. On barge cruise operator even provides an air-conditioned touring bus to takes passengers to local points of interest at each stop along the way. What a change of pace from the hotel hopping of a bus trip! Just depart from the barge in the morning, enjoy a day of sightseeing and return to the quiet of a private dining room where a gourmet meal is waiting.

The price of a European barge cruise, like all other cruises, varies based upon the cruise line, the accommodations selected, the area visited, and the season (high or low). However, a quiet and personal barge cruise can be had for a price competitive with a Caribbean cruise, without airfare of course. The barge cruise price usually includes accommodations, 3 meals a day, beverage service that includes wines and spirits, and pre-arranged sightseeing tours. And these barge cruises cater to the American tourist by providing English speaking crew members.

Movies on DVD and VHS are often available in two screen formats: full screen and wide screen. The full screen is where a movie is modified to fit a television screen. If you have watched a video release, you have probably seen the message: This film has been modified from its original version.

The wide screen version maintains the same size and shape of the original theatrical version. The reason for the different versions is aspect ratio. Motion picture screens have a different aspect ratio then a television screen. The aspect ratio (a ratio of width to height) of a television screen is 1.33:1. This means the screen is 1.33 times wide as it is tall. The most common aspect ratio for movie screens is 1.85:1 to 2.35:1. While a television screen is almost square a movie screen is rectangle. Therefore, a video release must fit the rectangle movie screen onto the square television screen. The wide screen version displays an image with black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Some people find this disturbing. Movie buffs and die hard artists prefer the wide screen because it captures the essence of the filmmakers vision. The full screen actually removes the far left and right side of the movie image in order to fit the movie within the television screen aspect ratio. So the full screen, although appearing to be the whole movie, is actually missing information. Knowing the difference can help you choose the format you prefer. Remember that the wide screen version contains the aspect ratio of the original theatrical release and that the full screen version is where only the middle part of the original theatrical is used to fill the television screen.

Cast Against Type: Actors in Unique Rolls Ending the Type Cast

Cast Against Type - Our favorite actors in rolls we never expected. Ending the Type Cast a new post from Movie Fanfare: Original article can be found at MovieFanfare.com

Seeing ones favorite actor performing in a way youve neverexpected is a treat for viewers, and undoubtedly a welcome departurefor the artist himself. Whether its a normally affable star in atwisted turn or a glamorous performer reduced to pathetic or hideouscreature, here are some of our favorite role reversals.

Michael Keaton Batman

Lets face it, when thinking of tall, dark, handsome, broodingmillionaire/superhero Bruce Wayne the image of Michael Keaton does notimmediately come to mind. Back in the early 80s, the fact that Mr. Momwould take the lead as the Caped Crusader was truly appalling to fansof the comic, and they voiced their displeasure by sending tons of hatemail (reportedly 50,000 letters) to Warner Bros. But having just workedwith him on Beetlejuice, director Tim Burton agreed with producer JonPeters assessment that Keaton had an edgy, tormented quality thatwas right for the role.

Henry Fonda Once Upon A Time In The West

Pillar of the community, paragon of humanity, and dignified fatherfigure is how the general public viewed Henry Fonda for all hisrighteous film portrayals pre-Once. Fonda was adored by Sergio Leone, too, and the director desperately wanted to cast him. But he wanted toshow another side of Fondaa persona the public had never experiencedbefore. Imagine their horror when, in the very first scene, Fondamercilessly guns down an unarmed terrified little boy! Heres Fonda, himself, explaining his involvement:

Charlize Theron Monster

Its become almost de rigueur for any good looking actor to portraya wallflower, but Charlize Theron transformed herself completely forher biopic performance as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster. Those who remembered the Sexiest Woman Alive as an alluring sexkitten in 2 Days in the Valley were shocked to see a face haggard byher rough & tumble life of street prostitution, accompanied by aguttural shot-and-a-beer & cigarettes voice. Charlize easilyscampered home with a Best Actress Oscar that year.

Fred MacMurray Double Indemnity

MacMurray is often remembered as the kindly, understanding father inthe long-running TV program My Three Sons or as the zanyabsent-minded professor in Walt Disneys flubber comedies. Thoughthose roles were not created until the 60s audiences in the early 40shad similarly regarded Fred as a genial character for the frivolousnice guy roles he played til then. He shattered that faade with thefilm noir classic Double Indemnity where he played a callous, coldlycalculating salesman involved in adultery, insurance fraud, and murder.

Robin Williams One Hour Photo

Appearances can be deceiving. Though no stranger to dramatic parts(Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, Good Will Hunting) Williamsnevertheless is most strongly associated with his hysterically maniccomedic roles. In 2002, moviegoers mental picture of him was upsetwhen a much older, timid Williams character (retail photo clerk, Sy)appeared in One Hour Photo. Overtly shy & seemingly unremarkable, slowly Sy is revealed to be mentally unhinged, whose outer calm isbelied by inner turmoil. Check out the trailer:

Terrence Stamp Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert

Both in reel life and real life Terrence Stamp was quite the mansman. On screen, he effortlessly played tough guys as well asShakespearian characters; off, he was a fixture of Mod London, photographed arm-in-arm with Julie Christie, Brigitte Bardot, andsupermodel Jean Shrimpton. So hardly anyone could have expected therole he accepted in 1994. Terrence Stamp, on playing transsexual dragqueen Bernadette in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: When the scriptcame in for Priscilla, I was so fearful about the whole project. Ithought it was a conspiracy to get me to make a fool of myself. We weredoing a sequence called Shake Your Groove Thing, and I thought whatam I doing here? I [was voted] the best dressed man in Britain. Im amiddle-aged guy. Im a scholar, a philosopher. I was the great Iago atmy drama school. And here I am in fishnet tights!

Kurt Russell Escape From New York

Disney signed a young, pinchably-cute Kurt Russell to a ten yearcontract in the mid-60s, and Kurt soon became a big star for the MouseHouse, most notably in the fanciful fun of the Dexter Riley trilogyof films. Despite that success, Kurt began searching for something thatwould let him grow up from those fresh-faced youth-oriented roles androte comedic movies that he felt he was getting typecast into. Luckily, director John Carpenter was able to look past Kurts lightweightstatus when casting for his gritty actioner Escape from New York. Whilethe studio honchos preferred either Tommy Lee Jones or Charles Bronsonto play its scruffy anti-hero Snake Plissken, Carpenter insisted onRussell. Perfect choice.

Jack Nicholson About Schmidt

Akin to Robin Williams, usually the Jack Nicholson characteryouknow the one: arched eyebrows and iconic Jack grinis frenzied, rebelling against all things normal. The tables are turned in AboutSchmidt, where Nicholsons newly-retired Schmidt has led an ordinary, drab, non-eventful existence. Confronted with his apparentlymeaningless life Schmidt asks what kind of difference have I made? What in the world is better because of me? The befuddled &beaten-down Schmidt duly recounts his newly realized vision of a worldlacking sense in letters to his African foster child, Ndugu. But whatgood will that do?

Deborah Kerr From Here To Eternity

In 1994 Deborah Kerr was bestowed an Honorary Academy Award whichlauded her as an artist of impeccable grace and beauty, a dedicatedactress whose motion picture career has always stood for perfection, discipline and elegance. This reflected how Kerr was often praisedearly on in her careernot exactly a good thing since for thefirst decade of her career she was typecast as either devout women orvery proper English ladies. That would change in 1953 with From Here toEternity. In perhaps one of the most famous scenes ever, she rolls inthe surf entwined with Burt Lancaster, with whom her character ishaving an adulterous affair. Her new sensual image was an eye openerfor many, which was a good thing as the roles offered to herfrom then on were much more diverse than the ones previously offered tothe English Rose.

Keanu Reeves The Gift

Reeves had some dramatic efforts under his belt, but was betterknown for his goofy teen roles or as the good guy in sci-fi thrillers. And, truth be told, despite a couple of meaty roles (My Own PrivateIdaho, Speed) nobody really was that enamored of Keanus actingabilities. That changed in 2000 with The Gift. In the supernaturalmurder mystery he played a wholly unsympathetic character, an abusivehusband and violent town thug. Silencing his many critics, Keanu pulledoff the menacing performance superbly.

Charlie Chaplin Monsieur Verdoux

In 1947 Charlie Chaplin starred in the black comedy MonsieurVerdoux, a story of a man who marries, then kills, wealthy widows inorder to support his wife and child. In the wake of WWII and withpersonal scandals tainting Chaplins reputation at that time, thepublic was in no mood to see a film about such a distasteful topic, especially one starring the Little Tramp as a murderer. Not only werethere were boycotts of the movie, critics were unkind as well, so muchso that Chaplin famously opened one press conference with the wordsproceed with the butchering. Subsequent screenings in later yearshave bolstered Chaplins own contention that it was the cleverest andmost brilliant film of my career.

Breast implants are an increasingly common surgical procedure. Women, and some men, who receive breast implants usually do so for medical or psychological reasons.

Breast implants are an increasingly common surgical procedure that involves the implantation of a medical prosthesis that changes the shape, replaces or creates a breast where one did not previously exist. These devices are usually made at least partially of silicone. Many prosthetics consist of a silicone outer coating with silicone gel in the center, however some implants have just a silicone coating and other material, such as saline, filling the implant.

A properly implanted device looks and feels like a normal, natural breast. Implants are not exactly synonymous with breast augmentation, which is done for purely cosmetic reasons. Breast augmentations do use a prosthetic but they are just to enlarge the breast or change the look of the breast, either because a woman is dissatisfied with her natural size or for career reasons. Models and actresses often have the procedure done because a curvier figure often translates into more work.

The regular women, and some men, who receive breast implants usually do so for medical or psychological reasons. Some women are born with breasts that are very different sizes from each other, making the woman self-conscious and embarrassed. Women are also born with deformed breasts, sometimes due to birth defects, or they may start out with normal ones but a bad accident may leave them with very deformed or even amputated breasts.

A common cause of a missing breast that needs to be replaced is a mastectomy. Often the best treatment for breast cancer is to completely or partially remove the tissue. The implantation is often done at the same time the tissue is removed, but sometimes the prosthetic has to be implanted later for medical reasons, since in some cases the implants can interfere with some treatments.

Men can sometimes need breast surgery due to an accident or birth defect, but for the most part, transsexual men get implants to help them complete a transition from male to female. Many transsexuals find it very important for their psychological health to get the body parts of their chosen gender. Despite what is in the news about the latest Playboy bunny or actress getting bigger busts, most people who get the procedure are not doing so for career reasons or for vanity. They use breast implants to get back to normal or to correct a deformity or to create a breast where not existed before. After the operation, the vast majority of patients report improved self-esteem.

Indiana Jones Rocks

Indiana Jones is a popular movie and is now moving into the game world. This is a great game for all ages since the movie is so versatile. It would make a great gift for a friend or family member.

Indiana Jones has been a Hollywood icon for nearly thirty years and with a trio of classic movies, I cant include last summers debacle, Dr. Jones is trying to take over the video game market as well. There have been a couple of games over the years based on the Indiana Jones franchise, some good like the one that was a PC exclusive, but is available on the Wii disc, and some that were not so great.

The game actually fell through the cracks a little bit. It was supposed to come out on PS3 and Xbox 360 too but then it was downsized to only Wii, PS2 and DS.

Since everyone had really high hopes for the game, it seemed to fall alittle bit short or their expectations.

With the release of a few very good games based on popular movie franchises like Ghostbusters and X-Men Wolverine and the King Kong game, you would think that a developer with a big name franchise like Indiana Jones would put a little more effort into it. The whip mechanic works fairly well and there is a little variety in the way it works, but the game never feels any better than a second rate version of something you used to love.

I guess its fitting after the fiasco that was the last installment of the movie franchise, its just disappointing when you were actually looking forward to something. It feels like getting punched in the stomach by your best friend.

Salman Khan's Tubelight has sunk at the box office and the Hindi film industry has suffered a setback. The distributor and the cinema owner were expecting a lot of earning, but this did not happen. Salman who come up with superhit movies on Eid can not do anything special on this Eid. Actually, the film was not good, so the film was sure to be a flop.Presenting 5 Reasons Behind Tubelight's Failure -Again Same StoryIt seems that director Kabir Khan was in hurry for the next film after Bajrangi Bhaijaan. They did not want to leave the advantage of Eid and Salman. He chose the story which was based on 'Little Boy'. He rolled 50+ years old Salman for the role of the little boy. This changed the emotions of the story itself. The Tubelight film looks like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In that film (Bajrangi Bhaijaan) there was a little girl and in this film, a little boy. In that film there was Pakistan and in this film, China. It has been tried to make the people fool.Crying SalmanCommercial film lovers do not like to see their hero crying. That too without any reason. Salman has been shown to be very naive in the film. But in the movie, he roams with cry face, which seems very strange. His character was not written properly. His character seems to be fake. This does not suit the image of Salman. Mohammed Zeeshan slaps him in the film. How, his fans like this thing. Salman does not seem to be a hero in the film from anywhere. Everything in Climax itself is done automatically. After watching the whole movie it seems that Hero did nothing. Just made hope and miracles happened. Salman seems to be the misfit in this character. There was a need for a young hero for this character. No Heroine & No RomanceAlthough the role of heroine in the movie is insignificant, but her presence is necessary for the big and commercial film. Before releasing 'Tubelight', no one knew that who else is in the film besides Salman. Very few people know Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. Salman and his romance are not even in the film.Increased Ticket RateIn order to break the record of Baahubali, they raised the ticket price. Many theaters have increased the rate of fifty percent. Instead of watching the movie on the first day, people awaited the report of the movie. As soon as the movie reviewers and negative audience's negative reports came, the audience abandoned the intention of watching the film. This is the reason that the film was neither able to take a heavy opening, nor did the crowd gathered on Eid. If the ticket rate was low then the film's business was likely to be more.Music, Set, Acting All was AverageNot even a single song hit before the film's release. I do not remember any song after watching the movie. All the songs were mediocre. The film set was very fake. Salman and Sohail Khan were weak in acting.Read & Watch More:Latest Bollywood Movies, Bollywood Trailers, Bollywood Reviews,Bollywood Scandals

The American animated series The Last Airbender has beenrunning on the Nickelodeon TV channel for 3 years. It has quite possibly beenthe best 3 years of TV in the past decade. With its complex, ingeniousstoryline and exhaustive character development this groundbreaking series hasbuilt a huge worldwide following. In the hands of a director skilled in bigbudget, big story action films (ie; Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings or JamesCameron Avatar) this could have been a masterpiece. All the elements were there.

But M. Night Shyamalan is NOT a director with experience inthese types of movies. Most of his past shows involve drama and suspense. Theystart slow, build slow and end with a twist. Unfortunately his inexperiencecomes across very clear in this picture.

The story of The Last Airbender takes place in a fantasyworld where there are 4 major tribes, or nations. The people of each nationhave the ability to control (or bend) one of the classic 4 basic elements(Earth, Water, Air and Fire). There is supposed to be a balance between thesefour nations so that no one single group can destroy the others. But the FireNation has upset this balance by becoming much stronger than the other 3, andthey are determined to conquer the world.

Only one person, an Avatar, can control all four elementsand bring a peaceful balance back to the world. This Avatar, known as Aang(played by Noah Ringer), was the last known surviving Airbender who wentmissing over 100 years ago when he was frozen in a block of ice. Wishing tostop the Fire Nation from world dominance, 2 people (Katara .. played by NicolaPeltz and her brother Sokka played by Jackson Rathbone) begin a hunt for thelong missing Aang. They eventually find and free him from his icy tomb.

The remainder of the movie deals with Aang and his friendsattempts to bring all the 4 elements under his control and stop the Fire Nationfrom killing everybody.

Now this is a story! And with a massive built-in fan baseall the director and studio had to do was not blow it. But blow it they did.

The first mistake was to try to cram an entire season of theTV series 420 minutes worth into a movie that lasts little more than 90minutes. This results in hours of series storyline being chopped down to 2minutes of film time. Many events that were animated in the series are now justmentioned in the film. And the constraints of fitting the story into 94 minutesmeans that nearly every line of dialog must advance the story. There isvirtually nothing that helps develop the characters. No dialog or back storiesthat make us care about these characters. Suddenly, that envious situation ofhaving a ready-made, built-in audience now becomes a curse as fans who havebeen awaiting this release mock and deride the results.

The second mistake was that the actors hired for the rolesjust arent very good. Yes, I know that they are very young, but you wouldthink that somewhere the director could have found actors who didnt look likethey were reading off cue cards every time they delivered a line.

The CGI and special effects were decent, but not great. Withthe current, advanced state of special effects technology we should have seenscenes of element bending that would have blown us away. What should havebeen a highlight is just another letdown.

Overall, The Last Airbender is a major disappointment. Themovie ends in a manner that suggests at least one sequel is on the way. Theproblem is that no one will go to see it.
