Story: -

The film's story is quite simple and based between two rival groups of Ammiraju (Mukesh Rishi) and Bhikshapati (kota). Twist in the tale arises when Vijay (Shreayan) of Ammiraju group falls for the daughter Bikshapathi Shravanthi (Pragathi).This case is not going well with the son of Bikshapati Bhavani (Abhimanyu Singh) who in turn takes the lead and decides to kill the couple. Rest of the story is how this couple survived the deadly Bhavani and earn their love.

Plus Points: -

Shreayan is ok for her first film, but needs to work on his delivery and expressions dialogue. He has the height and personality and will surely get better with more experience. Pragathi is decent in his role and looks good in the songs.Bang range is very interesting and was treated very well. Second half provides a few laughs here and there. Mukesh Rishi and Abhimanyu Singh are likely in their role and so was Kinabalu.First half has some decent gang rivalry was well developed. Production values are decent that policymakers do not compromise on visual.

Negative points: -

major drawback of the film is the age old story line. Scripts like this have been treated many times and absolutely nothing new to offer. Much effort should have gone to see the heroes involved in the procedure as it is just left as a spectator. Right of the scene, this film gets pretty predictable and nothing very interesting.Rhythm of the film becomes slow in the second half of some unnecessary commercial elements are central. It is very difficult to understand why Rashmi Gautam made the song section also has another track and seems vulgar. The tracks of the comedy starring Ali and Sapatagiri are downright bad and have no meaning at all. Once the second half settled, the film loses its meaning and rebels.

Technical aspects:-

Labour camera film is pretty ordinary and so is the sense of art. The music is decent as some songs are well composed. Scenario is expected in the first half and capricious in the second part. The assembly is correct that the run time of the film is quite crisp. Coming to the Director Vasu, he chose a stale subject and fails to raise the beginner in any way completely. It runs right through the procedure and did a nice job below the average.

Verdict:-

Overall, Basthi is a film that does not give much room for Shreayan beginner to showcase its full potential. Except for a shot interval interesting and decent performance by the pair of lead, the film is completely spoiled by a very amateur management and has nothing new to offer. You can ignore it.

The effortless way Roch conveys these historical timelines makes one thankful Garcia didn't have the reverse ideological intentions.

The film's thrilling climax details Garcia's masterpiece of intrigue, aptly titled "Operation Fortitude," when the spy wired a stream of blatant misinformation to the Germans during the lead up to the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944. In a bit of brilliant double-crossing, Garcia convinced the Third Reich that Colonel Patton was going to invade through Calais on the west coast of France, and the Normandy campaign was merely a diversionary tactic. This ruse proved incredibly successful during the assault, but even more so after the fact as Garcia further stalled a German counter-attack with more debilitating untruths. With this in mind, Roch structures Garbo: The Spy to basically affirm that Garcia was one of the key factors in crushing Nazism.

Roch goes to on to explore Garcia's post-war life, which included him faking his own death in Angola before moving to South America, where he operated a cinema and lived for nearly four more decades. Thanks in large part to the investigative work of West, a stoic professor who provides the bulk of the film's interview footage, Garcia was able to return to Normandy in 1984 and receive an esteemed medal from the British government. Footage of the now aged Garcia walking the beaches of Southern France and the expansive cemetery for the fallen soldiers has a special resonance considering the context.

You know, those little guys that come out when you turn the lights out.You may not have known this but they have always bugged me. Okay, enough of the puns. But really, I do love bugs. So much so that back in 1996, I made my first feature film about them. It was an urban horror flick appropriately titled, Bugged!

The story revolved around a beautiful woman trapped in her house by mutant bugs. And whom does she call to save the day? Yes, yours truly!Not only did the film land a great distributor, but it went on to became a big hit in Japan and a cult hit here in the states. I hardly ever talk about it because Hollywood took the movie and ran with it without little old me. It was produced into a big budget film with a very young actress at the time, Scarlett Johansson. But unfortunately, I don't like bringing it up much. Plus, the studio paid me a boatload of cash to keep my mouth shut (wink...wink). But in all seriousness, I learned that just because you produce your first feature doesn't mean you're getting a large advance and three-picture deal. It is always exciting to see Hong Kong featured in Western movies and here about half of the film takes place in the city. Filmed mainly in and around Central and Mong Kok, Salle and his crew make great use of the city's vibrancy and diversity, accurately capturing the spirit of Hong Kong from the expatriate perspective, without resorting to travelogue tactics, or it seems, getting much help from the local industry. Although a couple of HK character actors do crop up in minor roles I couldn't see much in the way of Chinese financing or production assistance when scanning the credits.

LARGO WINCH is not perfect by any means. The story isn't anything particularly original and the third act revelations are obvious almost from the get-go. The stunt casting of Kristen Scott Thomas, who here continues her recent spell in French Cinema, should serve as a fairly obvious clue of what is to come. There is some clunky dialogue along the way as well as some occasionally stiff acting, but Sisley is a handsome and charismatic hero and the overall high production values help make LARGO WINCH a pleasant surprise and an entertaining action/boardroom romp.

Story: -

Kitty (Sundeep Kishan) is a taxi driver happy go lucky in Chennai. He works under Manikkyam (Tannikella Bharani) who cheats on him with his life savings. A Kittu upset, gets drunk and Manikyam reached the house and threatened to kill her daughter Nandeswari (Regina)Moving a bit in the flashback, Nadeswari is extremely upset with his father for fixing her marriage without her permission. She confronts her father and reveals his opinion. Just at that moment, Sundeep Kishan began threatening her money and kidnaps Nandeswari. As she is not interested in marriage, even she luckily escaped with Kittu.As both keep running away from Manikkyam, a cute love story starts to develop between the two. When things seem happy and settled, Nandeswari is again removed by Jaggu (Jagapathi Babu).
Who is Jaggu? Why did he Nandeswari Kidnap? What will Kittu do now? For answers to all these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.

Plus Points: -

The first half of the film is a major advantage. It has some cute romantic moments with entertaining comedy. Again, Sundeep Kishan chemistry with Regina is first class. Both of them share a good atmosphere and that shows on the screen.Sundeep Kishan has upped his game and screen presence with this film. He looks much ease and perfectly carries his role. He minimizes his character so well and allows Regina to continue with its dominant character precisely.Regina is the highlight of the film. It has a dominant character and did a great job. She look glamorous and director etched his character of a lively and entertaining way.
Again Jagapathi Babu made a sincere work in the film, but could not be used completely. More on that later. Film songs are definitely a highlight. All were shot and executed well.
Ramesh Tagubothu entertains you decently in the first half. Ravi Babu, Brahmaji and Satyam Rajesh doing their bit.

Minus Points: -

Although Jagapathi Babu did an excellent job in his role, the director could not use it properly. The elevation required and the depth of his character is absent from the film.
Just when you see the entrance to JB await impatiently a power packed performance. Even if he is good in some comedy situations, the tempo is ever built during his stay.After a promising first half, second half slides down drastically. Just after the break, first 15 minutes is a bit disappointing. Sundeep Kishan has nothing to do. Too many characters continue to come in and out of the film which makes it tedious film.Yet another drawback in the second half or the love track between Regina and Sundeep or the link between the two brothers is treated properly.Climax is cliche and nothing special in it. The lock on the widely publicized lip is almost OK, and do not seem sensual.

Technical aspects:-

Ra Ra Krishnayya is high on the technical aspects. A special word of mention is the camera work. The visuals in the film look absolutely beautiful. The production values are high, and how the entire film was shot looks very good.As said before, the music Acchu is also a major asset. All the songs are very good and were also shot well. Dialogues are correct and have been written well.Director Mahesh Babu is quite OK with his first film. It runs the first half very well, and extract good performance from its star cast. But as said earlier, it goes off the track in the second half and try to add too many commercial elements.film script is good enough in the first half, but could have less withe some scenes in the second.

Verdict:-

Overall, Ra Ra Krishnayya essentially functions in the parts. After an interesting and engaging first half, the second half slightly disappoint you. If you go into this film without much expectations, you might also Sundeep Kishan and sizzling chemistry of Regina and beautiful songs.

Can We Handle the Truth?

Most people in America are busy with the details of achieving their goals and making their own place in the world. They have little time for themselves and don't want to spend it on some lost cause that most people don't care about. So it is with the injustice of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Even though most don't believe James Earl Ray killed Martin Luther King Jr. or at least not by him-self, they also don't have the time to try to figure it out. Some would say they just don't care; so what's the use of making a movie of the story of my investigation of Martin Luther King Jr's assassination?

What good will it do to have a full-length feature movie presented throughout the nations theaters that explores this matter when nobody has the time to care about it in today's environment? This is a question that I have asked myself for years; and continue to ask. Many believe very strongly that the story needs to be told and it needs to be told in just such a motion picture. Some believe that it is a story that has historical importance and is best served by being written in conjunction with a treatment of the civil rights movement and presented in a non-fiction literary work. Still others tell me that it should be a TV movie done in the tight commercial presentation that is best suited for today's contemporary television audience. Some would like to see it as a documentary or docu-drama. There are also those that just don't care about anything related to the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and would rather everyone just quit talking about it.

If it is to be done in a film there are those that believe it can only succeed if it is a big budget, major studio production with the top producers, writers, and stars directed by the hottest new director. Others believe it can only be done independently with lesser-known talent and production entities.

There are also those who believe that the music is the key to the success of the film. The song I wrote in 1977, "They Slew the Dreamer" is now published by Sony Music. Sony has an opportunity to bring a successful music project to bear via the marketing of the movie. It's a little like which came first the chicken or the egg, and so the question; which should come first the music or the movie? The truth is, the music came first.

Of course to many, none of this should matter at all, a good cover-up deserves to stay covered. Real conspiracies are never to be known about; only conspiracies that cover up other conspiracies have a right to reach the light of day. What the people don't know can't hurt them, right? Only time will tell whether or not the story of my investigation of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. is ever told. If it isn't then maybe it's because it is too much of the truth and we just can't 'handle the truth'.

But like so many ventures Miracle On 34th Street (1947) came about because of passion, in this case that of Director George Seaton who had gone to New York on his own and made arrangements with the real Mr. Macy and Mr. Gimbel to film inside their department stores. Impressed by Seaton's commitment Zanuck gave the show a green light.
Who would play the little girl who didn't believe in Santa Claus? Seaton agonized over it, until the assistant director remembered an amazing child prodigy from Santa Rosa, California who could cry on cue. Her name was Natasha Nikolaevna Gurdin renamed Natalie Wood after director Sam Wood . The same Natalie Wood who would later go out on a hotel room ledge and threaten to jump when her boyfriend Elvis Presley ignored her to play poker with Memphis Mafia. The same girl who would infuriate fellow cast members of West Side Story (1961) with her tardiness, her refusal to learn simple dance steps and her insistence on long lunch breaks to visit with her analyst. But the seven-year-old Natalie had none of the typical child star precocious behavior, she gained the respect of her co-stars on the Miracle set with her professional demeanor, earning the nickname One-Take-Natalie.

Like all filmed on location movies there were logistical problems. The sequence where Santa was taken to Bellevue was done without permission. The famous hospital would not cooperate with Hollywood because they had been portrayed badly in earlier films, they were not swayed by the sight of a sickly, freezing cold Santa Claus (Edmund Gwenn) bundled up under blankets in a car, waiting to shoot his scenes. The filmmakers were forced to shoot only the car approaching the building's entrance and edit the rest later. Another difficulty was getting permission to shoot the Macy's parade from the apartment dwellers on 34th street which had to be done right the first time, there could be no retakes. The film crew paid the ladies of the house to place the cameras in their windows. Then their husbands came home, complained about the inconvenience and demanded their own equal share. Most difficult to film was the sickly but determined Edmund Gwenn who would win an Oscar for playing Kris Kringle. He suffered from a bladder control problem but couldn't stand the thought of someone taking his place in the parade. The children who stood on the sidewalk waving at Santa never saw the long tube under his cloak.

Overcoming his initial reluctance Daryl Zanuck who was famous for his memos, made suggestions to improve the film's story. The mother Doris, played by Maureen O'Hara was too cold, she would scare a man like Fred (John Payne) off, she had to be made warmer to the audience by explaining that she had been burned by an earlier relationship and that's why she didn't want her daughter believing in Santa Claus. Zanuck also felt that they shouldn't overdo the scenes where Macy's employees recommend that their customers go shopping at Gimbels, just some simple dialogue was enough to get the point across. But despite the loud cheering by preview audiences when Santa Claus was declared sane in the courtroom scene, Zanuck never had full confidence in the film. He put it in theaters in July, the busiest time of year for moviegoers, and told his marketing staff to hide from the public that the film was about Christmas.

One reference in the Miracle script that's now dated was when Kris Kringle's psychiatrist mentioned a man in Hollywood who passed himself off as Russian Prince and owned a restaurant. It was a dig at Mike Romanoff, a colorful fraud whose Rodeo Drive eatery was a fun sanctuary for Hollywood's most notorious figures. One night FBI head J. Edgar Hoover was dining at Romanoffs when he was approached by an actual jewel thief named Swifty Morgan. "Like to buy these gold cuff links?" Amused, Hoover offered $200. "Oh come on John the reward is more than that!"

I also stress the fact that there are two forms of motivation: Positive and Negative. Both forms of motivation can produce results.

For a long time dog trainers would not use food or other forms of positive motivation because they had the silly notion that a dog is supposed to work for its master, PERIOD.

So dog trainers of the past would put a choke chain on the dog and use negative motivation to get the dog to comply with the command. The pain motivated the dog. In order to escape the pain the dog would comply.

A very bad way to train.

Whenever a trainer uses negative motivation he will get side effects. A killer whale trainer once said: If you put a shock collar on a killer whale you will have a very short training session because there is a good chance that the whale will eat you when you get in the pool.

He went on to say that aggression is caused by negative training methods. I completely agree with him. You cant constantly expose your dog to negative training sessions and not expect it to produce negative side effects.

At this point many dog owners think that if you use food to train, the dog will only work for food.

Using food is only one part of the training process. Once your dog starts to learn a command, you can start to use life rewards.

A life reward is anything that the dog likes or wants. Does your dog like to go for car rides? Before you open the door and let your dog in, give your dog a command sit, down, stay, etc.

Compliance is what we want from our dogs when we are doing obedience. You get compliance by motivating your dog.

Here is the secret of compliance:

Through repetition your dog will start to learn the command.

C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) is undoubtedly the most widely read and best known Christian author of the Twentieth Century. Several years ago a movie entitled, Shadowlands, starring Anthony Hopkins was produced about the life of Lewis. Its now on video and well worth the time for viewing. One thing remarkable about Lewis writing ability was his range. He could write books to stump the most hardened agnostic, but he could also write childrens books (Chronicles of Narnia) that still circulate in the market places.

When I was a young student at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, OK many years ago, I took a course in Lewis theology. It was at that time my taste for Lewis material developed. One of my favorite books is Mere Christianity. I want to highlight some lines in his book that are widely read by theology students everywhere. Lewis states: I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: Im ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I dont accept His claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who is merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunaticon the level with the man who says he is a poached eggor else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. (Mere Christianity [New York: Touchstone, 1996] 56.)

He did some great things for His fellowman, but thats it. Some say that He was then, and His teachings are now, offensive. No one likes being called a worthless sinner. But, then again, some of us say that He is Jesus the Christ, the only Begotten Son of God, Savior and Lord, and He is worth savoring. The Bible says that Jesus was Gods glory revealed physically. Men and women in the time of Jesus saw with their own eyes the very glory of God the Father standing before themWow!

Today we cant see Jesus physically, but we can see Him with the eyes of our heart. We have two sets of eyesone set is physical, and the other set is spiritual. The spiritual eyes of our heart are very, very important to spiritual survival. Why? Sometimes our physical eyes focus on the created thing and fails to tell the spiritual eyes to investigate further for possible deception. For example, many times in the Old Testament the people of Israel would turn away from the invisible God of heaven and focus their physical eyes on man-made idols of wood or stone and call that thing their god. We must have our spiritual eyes open always to the one and true God of heaven, resisting the temptation to make gods out of things and even ourselves (Humanism). Yes, the Bible says that we are to walk by faith and not by (physical) sight. Hear me please. Faith is not blind. We dont blindly leap into a realm that is suspicious and unreasonable. We see the Word of God before us, and our eyes of faith stay focused on the promises until they become reality.

What about savoring Jesus? Do you? Pastor John Piper says that when you see something as true and beautiful and valuable, you savor it. That is, you treasure it. You cherish and admire and prize it. Spiritual seeing and spiritual savoring are so closely connected that it would be fair to say: If you dont savor Christ, you havent seen Christ for who He is. If you dont prize him above all things, you havent apprehended his true worth.
