Story: -

AADI (Dulquer Salmaan) and Tara (Nithya Menon) are two young company employees living in Mumbai. They lead a chic lifestyle and are not interested in the concept of marriage. One day they meet and go instantly. Soon, friendship transforms live under and the couple spend happy times together.Twist in the tale arises when the couple must leave each other and go abroad for their future projects. What will they do now? Will they end up sacrificing their careers? Or will they go ahead with their broad thinking mind. Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points: -

One of the film's core strengths is the racy story. Mani Ratnam proves once again what a genius he is. The way it showcases such a simple story of a pretty cool way is splendid. Nithya Menen is a talented power house and is superb in his role. She looks beautiful and brings a lot of depth to the film. Prakash Raj is very good in a supporting role and brings balance to the film.Yet another highlight of the film is the chemistry between sizzle and Nithya Dulquer. There is something magical between the couple comes to the screen and makes up some beautiful moments. The whole film turns on their emotions and not beating the score of Allah Rakha Rahman student background the film to another level.
Dulquer coming, it is the heart and soul of the film. This young actor is a superstar in the making and does his role perfectly. Dulquer's looks and the way it highlights the carelessness in the movie is great. Credit must also go to Nani actor to give life to his character Dulquer with dubbing. Not once do you feel Nani whether a dubbing film.

Negative points: -

Story of the movie is very predictable and has been treated many times before. After a windy first half, second half is a bit slow. highlight of the film could have been a bit higher and is enveloped in a hurry. Some emotions of the old couple played by Prakash Raj and Leela Krishnan could have been transmitted more convincingly.There is nothing for the mass public to look out for. All basic business elements are absent in the film and some sections of the public will end up loving it.

Technical aspects:-

The partition of A. R. Rahman is brilliant and is the backbone of the film. As said earlier, it is his background score that lifts the film to another level. Credit must also go to Mani Ratnam to present Rahman songs such wonder. Visual P C Sreeram are of superior quality and show the film in a romantic light. The way he presented Mumbai is so beautiful.Dialogues are simple and go with the mood of the film. Mani Ratnam is back in his element with this film and beautifully executed this love story. It discusses the current state of mind of youth and present and their emotions. How it takes a simple story and puts it in the middle of the metropolitan city of Mumbai is wonderful. It is banking on the chemistry of the lead pair and extract a great performance from them.

Verdict:-

With Ok Banagaram, Mani Ratnam did a decent return. It gives the public what is expected of him and the film tells of a way to young. wonderful chemistry between the pair and the lead deaf music score are core strengths of the film. If you manage to ignore routine history, racy narration Mani Ratnam will make you fall in love again.

Ra One movie Review

Shah Rukh Khan's " RA.One" has been generating curiosity since beginning and expectations have been high from its music as well. The album of the film lives up to the expectations, thanks to composers Vishal-Shekhar for packing a musical punch for the sci-fi movie.

The film offers 14 tracks, including remix versions and theme tracks.

It starts on a rocking note with the already popular number "Chammak Challo". A clear winner all the way, the song, which has Hindi, English and Tamil words in the lyrics, makes you groove.

An interesting thing about the track is that it's crooned by international artist Akoon, who has voiced not just the English lyrics but Hindi ones too. Hamika Iyer supports him by singing Tamil words. A fun dance number, "Chammak Challo" is here to stay and it will surely become DJs' favourite.

The song also has a few other versions, including a remix by Abhijit Vaghani, another remix by DJ Khushi and an international version.

Then comes "Dildaara", a mush melody at its best. Sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali, it has John Lennon's song "Stand by me" mixed into it and the combination is interesting. The song boasts of various genres.

Then comes another Akon number called "Criminal", a peppy and upbeat track that also has Vishal Dadlani and Shruti Pathak behind the mike. An amalgamation of Hindi and English lyrics, "Criminal" is a perfect party number.

It also has a remixed version by DJ Amit.

Next is "Bhare naina" and it will make you sit up and take notice. The song has been sung by The Prague Philharmonic Choir, the chorus group that came here all the way from the Czech Republic to sing the song with Nandini Srikar and Vishal-Shekhar. If the semi-classical flavour in the number sets a pensive mood, use of orchestration takes it to another level. The choir makes the song sound very international, but its soul and feel are Indian.

Then there is "Right by your side", an ordinary composition crooned by Sidd Coutto. A regular fast-paced composition, it is a happy and exuberant track.

"Raftaarein" reminds one of R.D. Burman compositions. Sung by Vishal-Shekhar, it is a perfect chase track. The style of composition is very similar to that of Burman and, despite being a situational track, it leaves its mark.

Up next is "Jiya mora ghabraaye", a fusion of rock and semi- classical. It has a very strong musical arrangement and impressive vocals by Vishal Dadalani and Sukhwinder Singh and the song will be liked by hard rock lovers. Interesting composition and a good attempt.

Then the album offers three instrumental theme tracks called "Comes the light", "I'm on" and "Song of the end".

On the whole the album is worth buying and offers some interesting and entertaining tracks. Kudos to the music composers!

... a fantasy world where the girls, interrupted reside in a brothel as glamorous burlesque performers. You'd believe wouldn't be so bad, but they apparently must leave this fabulous brothel destination for a complete different action movie tasks, designed with large guns, B-52 bombers, martial arts skills, samurai swords, and knives as sharp as their skirts are short. Via a series of tasked challenges, this rock band of deadly teenagers will ostensibly earn some type of "freedom" -- and now we the viewers is going to be about the receiving end of some cinematic sucker punch we never saw coming.

Somewhere in all of this awesomeness, you will have musical numbers. Elaborate, glitzy, cabaret-style musical numbers serving up song and dance alongside everything action and killing. Stylized trench warfare and burlesque -- two fantastic tastes that taste great collectively?

Let's keep an eye on on the characters of Sucker Punch, as dreamily (or nightmarishly?) conceptualized by photographer Clay Enos inside the initial batch of character posters. Every person piece depicts an alternative Sucker Punch lady and, presumably, her respective signature outfit and weapons of choice -- combined with the particular setting which could prove substantial on her in the film.

Emily Browning as Babydoll can be a schoolgirl vision in blonde pigtails along with a sassy stare who wields a pistol in one hand plus a samurai sword within the other. Snow falls around her as she stands in front of a pagoda, suggesting her large challenge should come fighting the enormous samurais we have seen in the trailer.

Abbie Cornish's Sweetpea evokes medieval maiden by having an edge -- a pantless, armored dragon slayer shown having a castle in private.

Amber, played by Jamie Chung, seems to be a WWII-era fly gal who likes lollipops, wears chaps, perhaps flies a B-52 bomber and fights with a huge robot. A robot with a bunny face.

Vanessa Hudgens as Blondie is not blonde. She does, nonetheless, wear a slick, slightly much more updated outfit that somewhat resembles a ninja cowgirl. As well as the gun. She's a big, big gun. One thing here is clear: Hudgens is saying so long to her High school Musical days.

Jena Malone's Rocket is harder to see, but she does hold a knife at her side, which promises stabby action. Also, fishnets. Her scene occurs on an alien planet with a helicopter.

Make yourself truly believe that you are looking into your future through the crystal ball. Remember every little detail - expression on your friends faces, proud look in you parents eyes. Feel the warm breeze on your face, smell the salty air of the ocean, imagine your new house on the beach.

You need to create a vision so powerful, so desirable, so compelling that it draws all your energy and motivation to it. It has to become an obsession. You have to feel something that a person finding an oasis in the middle of the desert would feel. Absolute excitement and complete determination. Then any goal becomes possible.

Can We Handle the Truth?

Most people in America are busy with the details of achieving their goals and making their own place in the world. They have little time for themselves and don't want to spend it on some lost cause that most people don't care about. So it is with the injustice of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Even though most don't believe James Earl Ray killed Martin Luther King Jr. or at least not by him-self, they also don't have the time to try to figure it out. Some would say they just don't care; so what's the use of making a movie of the story of my investigation of Martin Luther King Jr's assassination?

What good will it do to have a full-length feature movie presented throughout the nations theaters that explores this matter when nobody has the time to care about it in today's environment? This is a question that I have asked myself for years; and continue to ask. Many believe very strongly that the story needs to be told and it needs to be told in just such a motion picture. Some believe that it is a story that has historical importance and is best served by being written in conjunction with a treatment of the civil rights movement and presented in a non-fiction literary work. Still others tell me that it should be a TV movie done in the tight commercial presentation that is best suited for today's contemporary television audience. Some would like to see it as a documentary or docu-drama. There are also those that just don't care about anything related to the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and would rather everyone just quit talking about it.

If it is to be done in a film there are those that believe it can only succeed if it is a big budget, major studio production with the top producers, writers, and stars directed by the hottest new director. Others believe it can only be done independently with lesser-known talent and production entities.

Just got back from watching Rush Hour 3 at the theatre. Who said sequels cannot be as good as the first? In my humble opinion Rush Hour 3 easily ties the first Rush Hour the only advantage being the first had the element of surprise.

The writer's did a nice job tying the plot to the original movie. The plot is very basic but flows nicely. The stunts were fast moving, fantastic and mostly believable. A few of them went over the edge but nothing like MI3 or the Die Hard series, which to me were still good movies for different reasons. Sometimes you just want to veg at a movie and not have to think about anything.

Back to Rush Hour 3, get ready to laugh, laugh, laugh. Chris Tucker carries the whole movie and does a great job at it! Kudo's to you Chris, what a great comeback. He's put on a few pounds but can still move about the scene agilely. This is no Academy Award winning performance like Eddie Murphy should have received for his astounding Dream Girls performance but Chris Tucker really shows his versatile skills.

Jackie Chan does a good job as well. He helps to balance out Tucker's wild and crazy antics and keeps them from crossing the line (like much of Martin Lawerences' work) from funny to just plain stupid. It's all about timing and balance. The Chan and Tucker team definitely have both in this hilarious sequel.

The asian cast had quite a few veteran actors. Hiroyuki Sanada from The Last Samurai and Youki Kudoh from Memoirs of a Geisha.

The enormous international success of the Rush Hour series began in 1998 with Rush Hour and then the sequel Rush Hour 2 was released in 2001. According to Box Office Mojo, combined these two movies have grossed over $350 million dollars domestically.

My theatre was packed and the general mood felt like most of the movie goers enjoyed the flick. The movie itself is nicely compacted into 87 minutes so you're not sitting there so long you start to wonder why you came out. If you like comedies this is a must see. Even with a weak plot it's still remains very funny.

Allu Arjun (Raj Anand) is the son of wealthy business tycoon is Europe Satyamurthy (Prakash Raj). One day Satyamurt pm dies in a car accident and Viraj is liable for all debts of his father. Things take an ugly turn that Viraj returned to India with his family.On his return to India, Viraj joined an event management company as a wedding planner. There, he was assigned the task of managing a high profile marriage. During the marriage, he falls for Sameera (Samantha).Twist in the tale arises when Sameera's father (Rajendra Prasad) is launching an open challenge to Viraj to marry his daughter. Rest of the story is how Viraj achieve his challenge and where do Nithya Menen, Upendra, Sneha and Adah Sharma in all this.

Plus Points: -

major advantage of the film is heavy star cast task. It is a treat for moviegoers to see so many stars in one place. Allu Arjun is the highlight of the film is superb in an emotional role. It provides consistent performance and is especially good with its dances.Kannada star Upendra is a perfect fit in his role and brings a lot of depth with Sneha. Ali and Brahmanandam are hilarious in their roles and provide comic relief to the film. Second half of the film is entertaining and also gets emotional during the climax.Samantha looks decent and does well in all his comedy scenes with Allu Arjun. Adah Sharma is capable in his role and justifies his character. The production values are superb that policymakers do not compromise on the look of the film.

Negative points: -

Story of the film is routine and has been treated many times before. Film length is too long as many scenes could be easily modified. After a certain point, the film becomes slightly predictable. The role of Nithya Menen lack of proper justification, and it is quite surprising to see an actress of her caliber take a small role.First half is quite simple as the entertainment quotient is a little less during this time. The film begins on an emotional note and moving forward with not much interesting happens during the first half.

Technical aspects:-

The music of Devi Sri Prasad is one of the greatest strengths of this film. All the songs are great and have been shot extremely well. But it is his background score that elevates the film to a decent level. Dialogues throughout Trivikram movie are top quality and N / Satyamurthy is no exception. Some dialogs that define human values were written with a lot of depth.The assembly is correct but some long scenes have been changed due to the film crispy. Coming director Trivikram he did a decent job in the execution of a routine story. The way he handled the entire star cast and performances extracted from them is good. The only drawback is that in his direction becomes slightly preachy at times.

Verdict:-

Overall, S / O Satyamurthy is a decent family entertainer. Performance rocking Allu Arjun and immense galaxy of stars are the major strengths of the film. If you ignore the routine history and go without much expectations, you can easily give this film a hit with the whole family.

Bollywood needs to figure out its definition of a teaser. Almost 2 minutes long, you'd think the Desi Boyz first look promo would qualify as a theatrical trailer, but the makers would like us to believe it's just a teaser.

If this one has to lead to a more elaborate promo (which is why it is called a teaser in the first place), how much longer would that be?

The Desi Boyz teaser has the voice of Sanjay Dutt introducing audiences to the characters of Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, who are mostly shown strutting around in suits, and striking cool poses. "Ladies and Ladkiyan, pull out the cash for the desi lovers," says the promo, followed by a shot of money being thrown at the two, as they dance around women. Are they gigolos? Love gurus? Or just casanovas? Deepika Padukone is the only other actor clearly visible in the promo, while you catch just a little glimpse of Chitrangadha Singh.

Desi Boyz is the directorial debut of Rohit Dhawan, who is David Dhawan's son. The film, though, looks much more polished, and better on the Production Values front, than any old or recent David Dhawan film (if you've watched any promo of Rascals, you will agree). It looks more like a Karan Johar film than one from David Dhawan's school of filmmaking, and that helps Rohit make a decent first impression. The promo's well cut, has a catchy tune and is pleasing to the eye.

But will the cool quotient of the teaser translate into any real entertainment? Or will Desi Boyz end up as another brainless, forgettable comedy? We'll find out on November 25th, when the film releases.

In his latest film, Rid of Me, writer/director/editor/producer James Westby trades in a lot of false assumptions: that by constantly zooming into a character's eyes, he can somehow get at essential truths about their nature; that showing the same object from three different angles in quick succession gives us a more complete picture of a given situation; and that almost everyone in the world (or at least everyone in small-town Oregon) is either a racist, narrow-minded, overgrown frat boy/sorority girl/rules-beholden ass-kisser or booze-soaked, vomit-prone goth. At once hopelessly amateurish and given to desperate assertions of auterist "virtuosity," Westby's film seems as lost as its perpetually confused and gratingly childlike protagonist.

Moving from Irvine, California to her husband's Pacific Northwest hometown, Meris Canfield (Katie O'Grady) finds life in her new community to be instantly and wholly oppressive. Will our heroine ever right the ship and find balance in her life? Of course she will, and apparently all it takes is the love of a good man, in this case a geeky record-shop clerk, a narrative device that becomes necessary because Meris is so childlike and barely there that she scarcely seems capable of any independent action. (Or when she does, it feels like the whim of the director rather than anything that arises organically from her amorphous character.) With both the straights and the goths reduced to gross caricature, there's little for Meris to choose between.

And yet, for all the ridicule heaped on the latter group, it's the black-clad crew that allows our girl to find herself, the excesses of their behavior (along with all the film's other problems) papered over and resolved in one neat tying-it-all-up montage. If there's one thing Westby loves to do it's to cut quickly and often (whether between past and present, between different views of a various object, or between ever closer glimpses of a character's face), so it's no surprise that he calls on his signature montage technique to bring together the messy, incoherent strands of his movie, though when he does, it's with no more purpose than any of his previous bouts of brain-exploding Final Cut Pro manipulations.

Mitch starts spending time with his high-school girlfriend (Storm Large), and Meris decides to get revenge on Mitch by making a spectacle of herself; after taking a job at a candy shop and making friends with the eccentric Trudy (Orianna Herrman), she begins having affairs with strange men, throws herself head first into the local punk-rock scene, stages curious performances at karaoke bars, and turns into a performance artist who terrorizes strangers in public. Music fans take note: In Rid Of Me, one of Meris' lovers is played by Art Alexakis, leader of the band Everclear, while Mitch's former flame is played by Storm Large, who was a contestant on the rock-themed reality show Rock Star: Supernova.

As to the gameplay, you get the typical set of levels to go though. There is a lot of interactive adventure going on here. All of the scenes are full of the areas that need some other items to be used there. Some of those itmes are found as you play the hidden object levels.

Those levels are neither annoyingly difficult, nor rediculously easy. The scenes have all the stuff that actually belongs there as much as this possible for the levels like that. You can also make it harder for you by switching to one of the more difficult modes. Then there are also all kinds of mini-games you get to play along the way.

You can tell that the developers has done a great job working on this game.
