Story: -

The story is based on the lives of three friends, Chaitanya (Ajmal) Sandhya (Aarushi) and Pranita (Panchi Bora). All three are close friends and are preparing for their future jobs.
Among them, Chaitanya is the only one that has no clarity about life, and does not expect this field to choose. One day, one of their classmates failed in IIM entrance, and suicide.
This incident turns their lives upside down, and all the friends become more sincere in life. While all this is happening, Chaitanya decided to enter politics in the name of his dads party, and becomes the leader of the youth.Once he joins his party, his life changes completely, as he is disturbed by the way the policy is being implemented in the state. He decides to take matters in hand and plans to raise public awareness about the right to vote, and how to choose a suitable government.Rest of the story is how he manages to fight through it and come out victorious.

Plus Points: -

major plus point of this film is its lead actors. Senior actors like Kota, Nasser Chalapathi Rao and Naga Babu has done extremely well in the film.Ajmal suits his character well, and the director used his physiche and body language precisely in this film. Arushi impresses in the role of hero friend.supporting character like Chandu and Panchi Bora did their part. story line of the film is quite good.

MinusPoints: -

As mentioned above, other than the line of star cast and the lead story, the film still has huge drawbacks. Even after selecting a decent story line, the director has failed to perform completely.This story had potential heavy dialogues, and many scenes that could have been higher. But the director has failed to capitalize on that and just concentrate on the business aspects of the film.The character of Nasser lack of clarity and of his speeches in the film not deep. Ajmal the character in the second half gets a bit too low and does not have a powerful dialogues or scenes.The whole film was dragged to the core. The great scenes of the film show how political parties campaign and promote their parties these days.Ajmal how the party works, and won the election and all the scenes of voter education are presented without any clarity.Logic disappears in the second half and the script has a lot of loop holes.

Technical aspects:-

the camera work in the film is a big plus. The film has a good idea, and was shot beautifully. background score of R P Patnaik is yet another great addition to the film. Although the scenes in the second half are lack luster, the music of R P raises them to a decent standard.
Dialogues are out of the box, and have absolutely no connection with the history and the editing is bad enough. As said before, the story line is quite decent, but the way it was run by the director is poor.

Verdict:-

In Prabhanjanam set is a misfit even in hot and happening times of elections. A good story line, was wasted by poor execution and unnecessary commercial elements. Even if you are interesting in political thrillers, you can skip this movie this weekend.

Some critics have entirely missed the context of this storyline, and have given this movie a bad review, I beg to differ. "Gothika," the newest production from Dark Castle Entertainment is the culmination of clairvoyance and poltergeist entertwined into one spectacular ride of an individual's innermost emotions and physical reactions.

Halle Berry stars as Miranda Grey, a criminal psychologist working in Woodward Penitentiary for Women. Counseling "Chloe," (played by Penelope Cruz), Dr. Grey, in her medical expertise, does not fully grasp Chloe's rantings and ravings. As she leaves work on a stormy night, she runs off an embankment, avoiding a nude girl standing in the rainsoaked highway.

Coming to her senses, she awakens to find herself as an inmate in Woodward, herself. Dr. Pete Graham (Robert Downey, Jr.) another staff psychiatrist and coworker of Grey, attempts to decipher Miranda's mindset and how she violently 'murdered' her own husband, Douglas (Charles S. Dutton) in the preceding three days. Having no recollection of the ensuing events after her car accident, Miranda is traumatized and nearly catatonic.

An unlikely friend, Chloe helps Dr. Grey to realize that neither of the two are insane, but are driven by an outside force beyond one's wildest imagination. As an open channel to clairvoyance and a medium to spiritual entities, Miranda soon discovers her husband's deep, dark secret.

A rivoting film that will leave you breathless and enlightened to clairvoyance in its most harrowing form. I rate this movie 3.5 Stars.

One funny thing we used to do was we would point the wiper blades and water release vents out away from the windshields. So when the wiper fluid was turned on, the water would shoot out and hit any car or person to the side of the car. Im not sure if this was easily done to Mustang wiper parts or if it was just a special trick that we could do with some of those older cars, but it sure surprised quite a few when they would get sprayed.

So along with my pimped out 65 Ford Mustang, I kind of liked the whole greaser look that the T-Birds had. I had to go out and get a leather jacket. I found one at a thrift store, and along with a couple pairs of blue jeans, I was there. Pretty much a blast from the past. Its pretty funny how fashions come back around in circles. Perhaps fanny packs and slap bracelets will be the next fad along with Iroc Camaros and white Jeeps and every school. And maybe the fashions can really be connected to each popular movie that comes out. So Dont tell Mom the Babysitters Dead and Clueless can be blamed for such sweet fashions that will be coming back in the future.

I only wish that I decided to keep that 65 Mustang. Those classic cars will never go out of style. I have seen many of the new re-issues, the new PT Cruiser and the new Dodge Challenger. Theyre very nostalgic and are new solutions. But the real deal lives in the old steel. Road rage is best in an old classic.. just kidding :) But Im sure many of us have thought from time to time how nice it would be to have an old clunker to teach a lazy driver a thing or two out there on the road. And the ease of being able to work under their hoods is so missed nowadays.

I have convinced myself enough to jump back online and search for one of those classic Stangs. I bet they go for more money now, but they are totally worth the investment.

The first time I saw a Broadway show, it was on tour. I saw "Rent" and it was so amazing. They replicated the original set, costumes, and lights and made sure to adapt it to each new stage and setting. But, it was equally amazing. The singing and acting was so good. I know that I cried multiple times. My parents went with me and they loved it, too.

There is something so magical about musicals. Something about the music can just pull you right into the emotions of the play. Singing and music, in general, can just make your soul soar to new heights or bring you to the lowest low. There is something that makes even the sad parts feel good in a way. Musicals can be very cathartic that way.

But, there is something very different about plays without singing that can be just as moving. Living with and through the things that the characters go through on stage is so amazing. You get sucked into the circumstances of the play and go along for the roller coaster ride, the arc of the show. And I think that a truly good piece of theater is one in which all of the characters are sympathetic. What I mean is that there is no one that is completely "evil" and no one that is completely "good." This makes me think more about their reasons and rationales. It is more thought provoking and causes me to empathize more. In this kind of play, there are no easy answers. And, hopefully, it causes viewers to discuss it with the people that they saw the play with, asking questions like "who was right?" or "what would you have done in that person's situation?"

Sometimes, I become so attached to characters, I talk about them as if they are real. It's usually at that point that I realize how good the play is. If I am imagining the characters in situations outside the play itself, then I know that the playwright and the actors have done such an amazing job bringing the character to life, that I can think about what they would do in certain situations. This, I think, is the point of theater. To make the audience think and to make them question their society, their morals, and their values.

At once hopelessly amateurish and given to desperate assertions of auterist "virtuosity," Westby's film seems as lost as its perpetually confused and gratingly childlike protagonist.

Moving from Irvine, California to her husband's Pacific Northwest hometown, Meris Canfield (Katie O'Grady) finds life in her new community to be instantly and wholly oppressive. (Or when she does, it feels like the whim of the director rather than anything that arises organically from her amorphous character.) With both the straights and the goths reduced to gross caricature, there's little for Meris to choose between.

And yet, for all the ridicule heaped on the latter group, it's the black-clad crew that allows our girl to find herself, the excesses of their behavior (along with all the film's other problems) papered over and resolved in one neat tying-it-all-up montage. If there's one thing Westby loves to do it's to cut quickly and often (whether between past and present, between different views of a various object, or between ever closer glimpses of a character's face), so it's no surprise that he calls on his signature montage technique to bring together the messy, incoherent strands of his movie, though when he does, it's with no more purpose than any of his previous bouts of brain-exploding Final Cut Pro manipulations.

Mitch starts spending time with his high-school girlfriend (Storm Large), and Meris decides to get revenge on Mitch by making a spectacle of herself; after taking a job at a candy shop and making friends with the eccentric Trudy (Orianna Herrman), she begins having affairs with strange men, throws herself head first into the local punk-rock scene, stages curious performances at karaoke bars, and turns into a performance artist who terrorizes strangers in public.
