By now they were getting rather weary. It seemed they were losing every step of the way. Rather than leave the airport for a local hotel, they decided to hold their ground. Within an hour, they were awarded first class tickets on an alternate airline's flight as a customer service effort by the airline!

The secret to winning is to realize each seeming loss in life is a step to success. If they had gotten discouraged and given up they would have missed their first class seats home.

If you begin accepting each and everything in your life as perfect, you will begin to see an energetic shift to it. You will experience "flow," where your desires and your experiences become one. Your life will take on the appearance of a magic carpet ride, doors will open for you automatically, synchronicities will abound and your desires will be fulfilled almost effortlessly.

Here are some steps to begin this process.

1. Meditate for at least five minutes every day. Quietly relax and clear your mind of all thought and obstacles. For those who have trouble focusing and clearing the mind, play the sounds of the ocean or better yet go to the ocean. Any repetitious quieting sound like wind, water, streams, rain can place you in a meditative state.

2. When a thought interrupts you, quietly say to the thought, "release," and go back to your sound.

3. When you have completed the meditation say out loud, "I command to you dear universe (you can substitute God, Angels, Spirits of The Eternal Light or whatever you consider to be your higher power) the following goal in my life." State at this point your desired goal, the time it is expected and give thanks that it is already done.

As the universe starts to go busily about its business of making your goal a reality, you might experience an obstacle, which could be construed as losing. But, aha! When life throws in a curve ball, accept it as a present, a treasure and a gift. Be infinitely grateful, for it is behind this gratitude your true wealth is hidden.

If you resist the seemingly negative, it will persist. But remaining in a state of infinite gratitude will release the treasure that is hidden behind the illusion of loss. It is possible to have what you want in life, but first you have to want what you have. This is the cardinal secret of "losing to win."

Actress Kareena Kapoor, who is now basking on the success of her latest movie Bodyguard, has denied having any success mantra.

Addressing the music launch of her film Ra.One, the Bollywood star revealed that her luck has been working wonders for her. She hoped that her next film Ra.One will also be a big hit.

Kareena Kapoor's recent films like Bodyguard, 3 Idiots and Golmaal 3 have become blockbusters and set new records at the box office. Talking about the success, the B-Town actress says, "I have no success mantra. There is no particular calculation or anything of that sort. I just have been lucky with some good films, good directors and good scripts."

However, Kareena Kapoor is playing the female lead in Shahrukh Khan's forthcoming film Ra.One, which will release on October 26. Babo adds, "Shahrukh has given me such a wonderful film and I am looking forward to my next festive release which is Ra.One which I believe, will be one of the biggest hits."

Speaking to reporters at the music launch of Ra.One, Kareena Kapoor thanked Shahrukh Khan for giving her a film like Ra.One, which she believes will be one of the biggest hits in Bollywood.

When asked about her success mantra, considering all her recent films have become blockbusters, the latest being Bodyguard with Salman Khan, the actress replied that she had no success mantra. Kareena said she has been lucky with some good films, good directors and good scripts.

Kareena Kapoor has Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan lined up apart from Reema Kagti's untitled film with Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherjee. The film is likely to be released in January 2012. She will also be seen in Karan Johar's romantic-comedy, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Imran Khan, to be released on February 10.

Sumanth Ashwin is slowly but steadily making his presence felt in Tollywood. After giving a mediocre hit with Kerintha, he is back with a romantic entertainer Columbus. Also starring Seerat Kapoor and Mishti Chakraborthy, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

Story: -

Ashwin (Sumanth Ashwin) is a young college go falling in love with Indu (Mishti). As time passes, Ashwin leaves all his career goals behind and lives his life with only the view of Indu. This kind of irritates his Indu great time and it completely ignores and goes to Delhi.
A disappointed Ashwin follows in Delhi. He also mixes in a murder mystery and stopped. By the time it comes out, Indu has left him for good. This is also the time when it falls on Neeraja (Seerat Kapoor) who promises to help find Indu.Twist in the tale arises when two Neeraja Ashwin and begin to approach each other. What is Ashwin doing now? Who do we want to end up with after all? Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points: -

The romantic track between Ashwin and Seerat Kapoor was treated in an interesting way. Stories like these are quite new in Telugu films and chemistry Seerat Ashwin and was treated quite well.Sumanth Ashwin has improved by leaps and bounds. It is decent with his dialogue delivery and did a good job in the comedy department. Seerat Kapoor is quite impressive and has done his best. Misthi did his part well but did not have much to do.Second half of the film is the greatest asset. Great twists are revealed during this time of the procedure becomes a little interesting. The scenes where the hero discovers his true love were skillfully executed in columbus movie review.

Negative points: -

major drawback of the film is the weak characterization of key players. Both Mishti and Ashwin track has not been set correctly. Their characters have no justification and do not create chemistry.After a while, the film gets predictable and has no pattern. It moves on one agenda and that has not been presented. comedy Saptagiri not seem out of place and does not create a lot of laughs.Some very important people have been misused in the film. How Neeraja plans to bring Ashwin and Mishti looks far too filmy. First half was nothing very interesting to offer and is routine.

Technical aspects:-

the camera work is pretty decent and showcases the film in a rich light. The production values are good and so were the dialogues. Music by Jatin is good and so was his background score. Coming to the Director Ramesh Samala, he made an average job with his narration. Although he chose a new scenario, performance is below par.

Verdict:-

Overall, Columbus is yet another triangular love story has its moments. Seerat Kapoor romantic track with Sumanth Ashwin and second half are passable certain assets. On the other hand, a first half of routine and low characterizations ruin the flow of the film. If you have an eye for young love stories and have nothing else to do this weekend, to explore this movie called Columbus. Rest can take easily.

JerryOConnell plays Internet soft-porn king Derrick Jones, who is obviouslypatterned after Ron Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame. Jones is in town tovideotape girls for his series Wild Wild Girls. OConnell plays this role soover the top that he is hilarious. He is supposed to be an unsympatheticfigure, but I found him to be the most interesting character in the movie thatwasnt a fish. He is only in town to find fresh meat for his video series, andhe doesnt care what he has to do to get it.

The rest ofthe movie is just an excuse to show half naked young adults being stripped andeaten alive by these prehistoric fish. But what fun it is. There are some veryimaginative ways that these co-eds meet their demise. And every ending isdrenched in blood. The piranhas cut people in half, decapitate, chew off limbsand spit out parts they dont like.

Thecenterpiece of the movie is like nothing you have seen before. It is a massacreat a wet t-shirt contest, and renowned horror director Alexandre Aja does amasterful job of making this sequence as gruesome and horrifying as possible. Flesh is stripped off skeletal frames inseconds, and every imaginable body part is seen floating in the water. There iseven a shot of one unfortunate guys severed manhood floating in the water. Nowthat is just plain mean.

Thisgore-fest has a surprising number of well-known and respected actorsparticipating in the movie. Elisabeth Shue, Jerry OConnell, Ving Rhames,Richard Dreyfuss and Christopher Lloyd all appear in some capacity. RichardDreyfuss in particular has a great scene which begins the entire movie. Fans ofJAWS will recognize and appreciate it.

Piranha 3D is a highly entertainingmovie. If you are looking for ridiculous escapist fun with an absurd storyline,loads of blood, floating appendages and college kids being torn apart, thenthis is the movie for you.

Director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti is known for his unique story lines and out-of-the-box films. Re-introducing Mohanlal to Telugu film industry in a full fledged role, he has come up with an unique project called Manamantha. Also starring Gautami as the female lead, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

Story:

Manamantha is based on the lives of four different individuals. Sairam(Mohanlal) is a simple assistant manager in a supermarket who is eagerly looking to climb up the success ladder in his job.

Gayatri (Gautami) is a down-to-earth housewife who finds happiness in straightforward things and is always looking out for her friends and family members.

Abhiram (Viswant Duddumpadi) is an intelligent college student who has big aims in life and always helps others around him.

Mahita (Raina Rao) is a cute schoolgirl who watches out for others before thinking about herself. How the lives of these four characters change in a matter of a few days with an interesting incident forms the crux of the story.

Plus Points:-

The biggest plus point of Manamantha is the plot that the film revolves around. Chandra Sekhar Yeleti takes extra care to make sure it never bores the audience. He cleverly turns a family drama into an entertaining and unique thriller.

Even through the story line is simple, the screenplay changes the game and twists are introduced periodically. Another positive for the film is the near perfect casting. Mohanlal is a treat to watch and gets into the skin of his character with ease. His emotions and body language are splendid in the film.

Gautami proves yet again why she used to be the best in the business and is sublime as the housewife. Another actor who impresses is Viswant of Kerintha fame. He portrays his character well and is a talent to watch out for in the future.

Debutante Raina Rao as the schoolgirl is a surprise and walks away with all the applause. The way the suspense is maintained throughout the film and how all the story lines come together at the end was handled excellently.

Minus Points:-

The biggest down point of Manamantha is the cinematography. A movie carrying such a beautiful story line needs to have some gripping camera work. Visuals are not up to the mark and give the film just an okay effect.

Also, since the characters do not meet till the end of the film, fans might be a little disappointed. Abhiram’s characterisation could have been a little tighter. Anisha Ambrose’s role needed more clarity.

Technical Aspects:-

Being a Sai Korrapati film, the production values are splendid. Background music by Mahesh is impressive. Editing is apt and the different story lines have been woven nicely through an interesting screenplay. Dialogues are excellent.

Coming to director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, he once again proves that he has ample amount of talent and this is clearly visible with Manamantha. The way he took a simple story line and made it thrilling is just amazing. He also excelled in extracting the best performance from his actors.

Verdict:-

On the whole, Manamantha is a unique family thriller which impresses you completely. Movies like these are rare to come by and when they do, they are a treat to watch. The near perfect casting who gets into the skin of their characters is seamless and undoubtedly the greatest asset for the film. It would be really interesting to see how the commercial audience lap up a serious film like this. Finally, Manamantha is a movie which can be enjoyed thoroughly. Go for it.

Now if you know anything about goal setting, you'll know that the first thing you have to do is to write down your goals on a piece of paper. Then you have to decide step-by-step how you are going to achieve those goals and form a plan of action as detailed as possible. All you have to do just follow the plan.

That's a great theory, which hardly happens in reality. In reality your enthusiasm and concentration lasts a couple of weeks and than everyday routine gets to you. You skip an exercise here, get frustrated and smoke a cigarette there, or start jumping from one goal to another and at the end of the year nothing ever gets done or achieved.

Make yourself truly believe that you are looking into your future through the crystal ball. Remember every little detail - expression on your friends faces, proud look in you parents eyes. Feel the warm breeze on your face, smell the salty air of the ocean, imagine your new house on the beach.

You need to create a vision so powerful, so desirable, so compelling that it draws all your energy and motivation to it. It has to become an obsession. You have to feel something that a person finding an oasis in the middle of the desert would feel. Absolute excitement and complete determination. Then any goal becomes possible.

According to the production notes, the film was inspired by the real life serial killer who was also working in dentistry, Nick Rex.

The film begins very calm and normal as with many modern horror films. Dr. Feinstone is wealthy and successful, has a gorgeous wife, amazing home, and steady income as a popular dentist. As he is obsessed with order around his office, he is very much one for structure and cleanliness.

One day Feinstone witnesses his wife, Brooke, having an affair with their pool boy. He then pulls out a pistol and begins to follow the culprit home when he leaves Brooke. Distraught, he goes back to work and his life begins to spiral downward. Eventually he imagines female patients as his own wife and begins to harass them while they are sedated.

Eventually Dr. Feinstone is caught by a waiting husband of one of his female patients and is sued for sexual harassment and malpractice. As the movie continues, the doctor is face with more negative life alterations that lead him to a life of a sadistic dental practitioner, tracking victims while he is unsuspected by law enforcement.

Without spoiling the ending for readers, the film takes several dark twists down a dark, horror-filled road as Dr. Feinstone stabs and severs and tortures many unsuspecting victims. Based on the true events of a former dentist turned serial killer, the movie is definite must see for those who enjoy 90s era horror films or who enjoy getting the chills from two things many fear: dentistry and murder!

The original release date for the film was aptly chosen before Halloween, premiering on October 18th, 1996. The film ran for 29 minutes and had a budget of 2.6 million dollars. While many horror movies from its time obtained low critical acclaim, this film followed as many cult classics have before and even after its time. Since the premier of its sequel, director Brian Yunza has gone on to direct even more underground horrors such as Faust, Beyond Reanimator, Bride of Reanimator, Rottweiler, Beneath Still Water, and Amphibious 3D.

A sequel was made in 1998 and the special effects coordinator won awards for each at various film festivals. It is also worth noting that Marc Ruffalo makes an appearance in the film as one of his first roles ever. Truly spine tingling and chilling, this film is a great watch for a stormy night - especially if you're the type of movie buff that loves to place themselves in cinematographic fear.

If we want to help others grow, let's give them the freedom to adapt to change on their schedule and in their own way. Are you an early adopter? [If you know what that term means, you probably are!] An early adopter is that person who is the first on the block to embrace new technology.
