Story: -

Lingaa (Rajinikanth) is a small time thief who leads a carefree life. One day, Lakshmi (Anushka) of public television meets Lingaa and asked him to inaugurate an ancient temple built by his grandfather. Lingaa rejects his proposal, saying he is not interested in knowing his grandfather that left him in poverty. Soon, he was involved in a theft scam and he accepted the proposal of Lakshmi, to escape the police. He goes to his village with Lakshmi.
Once it lands there, coming off a heartbreaking story of his family. What does it know truths about his family? What is the story behind the temple? To find answers to these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.

Plus Points: -

As always, Lingaa is again a complete Rajini show all the way. From the word go, it's Rajni and his presence in the pure screen that takes you through the film. Rajini excels in all departments, and carries the entire film on his shoulders. It is superb as the royal heir in the second half, and is especially good in the emotional scenes.While Sonakshi Sinha has not much to do in the film, she debuted south decent. Sonakshi looks good as the beautiful village and made his role sincerely.Anushka is apt for the role and complements Rajini during the first half. The film's production values are superb, as the entire second half and all scenes related to the construction of the dam were made abundantly.The first half of the film is entertaining, and has all necessary commercial elements.

Minus Points: -

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film's excessive length. The episode flashback in the second half takes forever to finish making quite tedious. The history during this time has been stretched, and go into too many details that are not necessary at all. At least 20 minutes of the film could have easily cut.Yet another drawback is that Rajini dialogues trademarks or thrills we regularly associate with him missing in this film.
Second half is quite predictable, and not a lot of surprises. There is absolutely no entertainment in this part of the film works on a serious and emotional mode.
The music of AR Rahman is below par, because none of the tracks fail to register.

Technical aspects:-

As said before, the film's production values are excellent. Manufacturers do not compromise on the presentation of their film on a lavish scale, and spent a lot of money that shows on the screen. The era before independence and visual meanwhile were designed quite brilliantly. Camerawork is superb and above all scenes that showcase the dam were shot well.
written dialogues for Rajini are below par, and the script takes a beating during the second half. Director K Ravi Kumar S has managed to develop the film on a large scale, but went into too much detail and stretchered film unnecessarily. As a result, he lost the good storytelling and could not integrate a lot of entertainment in the film.Anushka is apt for the role and complements Rajini during the first half. The film's production values are superb, as the entire second half and all scenes related to the construction of the dam were made abundantly.The first half of the film is entertaining, and has all necessary commercial elements.

Verdict:-

With Lingaa, it is once again proved that the fans love the presence of Rajini screen and completely love it. Entertaining first half and a rocking performance by Rajini are the major assets. But a long and dull booty second half the fun completely. Finally, if you are a fan of Rajini will appreciate the film. Otherwise, go in without expectations.

4. They did a lot of stretching: Palates and yoga was very popular.
    
5. They spent a lot of times out doors working out: You may be surprise at the number of people that are in better shape exercise more outdoors. 
    
6. There diets consisted of herb and teas: A lot of natural foods were consumed. 
    
7. They had outside help. Support systems, trainers and groups.

Marc Antony is a burly dog that usually appears with Pussyfoot. These two are also animated characters in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. This brown bulldog with tan belly and black ears is utterly devoted to Pussyfoot. Both were first introduced in the 1952 film Feed the Kitty by Chuck Jones and later in Kiss Me Cat (1953), Feline Frame-Up (1954) and Claude Cat later in 1954.

Spike (Tom and Jerry).
Spike, also referred to as Butch or Killer is an animated character from the Tom and Jerry series by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Spike made his first appearance in the 1942 Tom and Jerry series Dog Trouble. He disapproves cat but a softie when it comes to mice thus Jerry would often use this characteristic to get Tom in trouble with Spike.

As part of this betrayal, Veronica ends up possessedby Merlin's arch enemy Morgana. Morgana, Veronica and Horvath eventually becomeimprisoned for centuries in a nesting doll.

Blake, ever so much in love with Veronica, spendsthe next several centuries searching for a special descendant of Merlin theMagician "The Prime Merlinian. Only with his help can he free Veronicaand defeat Morgana.

The story jumps to the present day, where Blakefinally meets "The Prime Merlinian, a young 10 year old boy named DaveStutler (played by Jay Baruchel) , when he wanders into Blake's magic store andaccidentally frees Horvath.

Horvath dedicates the rest of his life to freeingthe evil Morgana and destroying the mortal world. But a clever plot twistresults in Horvath and Blake getting trapped together in an urn. Eventually 10 moreyears pass until they are freed. Horvath immediately begins his quest to freeMorgana. Blake has no choice but to search for that kid who walked into hisshop 10 years ago.

He finds the kid, David, as a 20 year old, nerdyNYU science major. David is Blakes only hope of freeing Veronica and defeatingthe combined forces of Horvath and Morgana.

The rest of the movie deals with Blake teachinghis new apprentice David the finer points of wizardry in preparation for theshowdown with the evil wizards. This will remind older viewers of the Master /Apprentice scenes in Star Wars where Yoda tutors Luke Skywalker in preparationof his battle with Darth Vader. The special effects and CGI during this portionof the film is spectacular.

Nicholas Cage is just great when he can play quirkycharacters, and his wizard is just fantastic. He delivers lines with amusingsmirks that would sound so corny if uttered by other actors. But as we discoverlater on, he is a dangerous foe when the chips are down.

As the apprentice, Jay Baruchel is just aboutperfect as the nerdy college student who at first treats Blake as a crazyvagabond, then slowly begins to realize just how powerful he really is. Hisearly training scenes with Cage are priceless as he slowly learns of his latentwizard abilities.

But the scene everyone is talking about of course,is the one where the too big for his britches Dave tries out some magic onhis own to an attempt to short-cut his chores after the Sorcerer Blake leaves.The dancing brooms and never ending buckets of water are all here as Dave triesdesperately to undo his errant magic spell. The director and actors nailed thisscene. And the look on the Sorcerer Blakes face when he walks into this messis easily one of the best double takes of the year.

The main components of the National Treasuremovies are here director Jon Turteltaub, actor Nicholas Cage and JerryBruckheimer. As in that successfulseries, the director blends a nice combination of action and comedy. The moviedoesnt overdo the special effects except in the magic scenes.

I would have never thought it possible to create afeature length film from a small animated sequence of Disneys Fantasia.
