Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) is thebeginning of the long goodbye to the most popular and successful movie seriesof our generation. This chapter is dark, bleak and totally uncharacteristic ofthe 6 films that preceded it. It is also utterly fantastic. Watch Harry Potterand the Deathly Hallows Part 1 online for free and see this first of the twopart ending to this amazing series.

In intense close-up, the Ministry of Magic (first timePotter actor Bill Nighy) bellows that our world has faced no greater threatduring a thrilling hellfire and brimstone opening. Whom he is referring to ofcourse, is the embodiment of all things evil Lord Voldemort (awesome Ralph Fiennes).

At the end of the last film (Harry Potter andthe Half-Blood Prince) Voldemort and his soldiers, the Death Eaters, killedHarrys mentor Professor Dumbledore. Since then, Voldemorts armies have seizedthe government and are on the verge of a complete takeover. Unleashingrepressive measures against 'Muggles (non-magic people) and 'half-bloods (amixture of magic and Muggle), one cant help but be reminded of Nazi Germany asVoldemort begins to persecute allnon-wizards.

But Lord Voldemorts most pressing objective isto find and kill Harry. Wanted posters with Harrys picture are tacked upeverywhere. Once found Harry will be killed, eliminating the last obstacle in Voldemortsplan to rule everything.

Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his friends Hermione(Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) are forced to flee Hogwarts since it is nolonger a safe-haven with Dumbledore dead. With Voldemort and his armies inconstant pursuit, the trio must elude capture (and certain death) whilesearching for the items that could defeat Voldemort.

These items are the Horcruxes. Scatteredthroughout the land, each hold a small portion of Voldemorts soul. As theseare what make Voldemort immortal, they must all be found and destroyed beforehe can be killed.

HarryPotter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is by far the most violent and unnervingof all the Potter films. There are many scenes of maiming, torture, death anddestruction. Harry, Hermione and Ron are constantly battling for their livesand pushed to the limit as the DeathEaters find them no matter where they go. This movie is definitely not foryounger viewers as they will almost certainly have nightmares afterwards. Theremay even be a few adults who see Death Eaters in their sleep.

Theacting in Deathly Hallows Part 1 is superb. The Potter films have alwaysboasted a Whos Who of top English actors. Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, AlanRickman, Bill Nighy and others have been essential in supporting roles. Butthis is the movie where Radcliffe, Watson and Grint really come into their own.

As Harry, DanielRadcliffe has never been better. He is totally believable as the adolescentwizard trying to save his friends from unimaginable evil. His facialexpressions and movements are spot on when conveying both terror and bravery. The scene that has all the critics talking though has nothing to do with evilor danger. It is a quiet, tender sequence where Harry and Hermione dancetogether in a tent. The background music from an old radio is O Children from Nick Cave. This scene very sweet and will have many viewers tearing-up. Daniel Radcliffeand Emma Watson are just great.

Emma Watson shinesin another scene. Fearful for the safety of her family now that Lord Voldemort willstop at nothing to get them, Hermione makes a moving sacrifice. She whispersthe word obliviate, and slowly their memory of her fades and then ultimately disappears. The audience sees this as her images fades from all the pictures. Hermione isnow all alone except for her two friends.

Rupert Grint isexcellent as Ron, particularly when he slowly begins to suspect that his twobest friends have feelings for each other. Grint displays just the right amountof anger and envy to make his emotions believable.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 might be a bitlong at 2 and a half hours, especially since the middle third of the film seemsto drag some. But overall this movie is thrilling and suspenseful, and iscertainly a great setup for what is sure to be an epic conclusion when thesecond installment is released in July 2011.

Set The Holiday Season Mood With A Christmas Movie

Apart of Christmas tree, decorations, parties and gifts, there is something that adds a special atmosphere to the holiday season: Christmas movies.Almost all adults have sweet memories related to a Christmas movie; a movie that remains favorite and have - sometimes just for a second - a special flavour: the taste of childhood.

We are now adults and know that movies related to Christmas create a fun atmosphere and also teach moral lessons to our children.

When I was a child, the most watched Christmas movies in Belgium were 1950's American movies (Hollywood style obviously) or French films.

For twenty-five years, our society evolved and the quality of Christmas TV broadcasts in French-speaking Europe has decreased. Movies of Christmas Eve have generally been replaced by musical broadcasts whose quality was not the best. Lots of TV companies also tend to offer hundred times viewed movies: for instance, TVI will display Harry Potter 1 and 2 on December 24th while we were expecting watching Harry Potter 3 or 4...

However, thanks to the Internet and DVD stores, I have the opportunity to watch the movies I love instead of those proposed by TV companies.

Here are some examples of beautiful and/or humorous Christmas movies I love:

"Bishop's Wife"

A nice movie in the Hollywood tradition! While working on plans to build a cathedral financed by a rich widow, Henry Broghaman, an Episcopal bishop neglects his family and prays for divine guidance. His prayers are heard and Dudley, an angel, is sent to help him.

The mission of the angel is not to assist with the building, but in his relations with his family that he is neglecting.

But Dudley falls in love with the bishop's wife and Broghaman is jealous...

French title of this movie is "Honi soit qui mal y pense" (Old English: shame upon him who thinks evil of it).

"The sound of music"

This movie tells the story of Maria, a young Austrian who was studying to become a nun. She was hired by Captain Von Trapp, a widower to be the governess to his seven children.

The children were initially hostile to her but finally became her friends when she thaught them the joy of singing.

Captain Von Trapp and Maria fell in love and get married. When the Nazis took power in Austria, Captain Von Trapp and his whole family fled the country and found refuge in Switzerland.

This romantic musical comedy is one of French-speaking European favorite movies.

"3615 Code Pere Noel"

Thomas is a child who has everything: a mother who loves him, a cheeky grandfather, thousands of different and expensive toys.

Thomas is a clever child and on Christmas Eve, while planning of catching, he communicates with him through the Minitel (the French ancestor of the instant messenger).

Unfortunately, the alleged Santa Claus is a psychopath employee that his mother just laid off. A few hours later, the false Santa penetrates Thomas castle and the nightmare begins.

The English title of this thriller is "Dial Code Santa Claus"

"Le Pere Noel est une Ordure" (Santa Claus is a junk)

"SOS Distress and Friendship" is a charity association run by Mrs Musquin. While she decided to celebrate Christmas Eve with her family, Pierre and Therese, will spend their evening the phone and try to give some hope to desperate people.

They do not know that this Christmas Eve will get them into silly accidents as well as unannounced visits of desperate, and sometimes, dangerous people. The evening will turn into a humorous nightmare.

The American remake of this movie is "Mixed Nuts".

"Scrooged"

This is a modern adaptation of the Dickens tale. Francis Cross, who is the program director of a TV station, is a disagreeable person.During the Christmas Eve, three ghosts will take care of them and teach him how to become a pleasant person by showing him the good side of life.

This movie is also a nice message that teaches to the world the real meaning of Christmas.

"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

The return of Griswold Family!

25000 bulbs on the front of the house blinding the neighbors, unbearable related family, a burning Christmas tree, a charred Christmas turkey, hostile neighbors, a removed Christmas bonus and a lot of unexpected accidents, this is the Christmas of the Griswold family.

I watched this movie for the first time in the late 80's and never have enough of it!

I even bought the DVD in order to have the opportunity to create a hysteric Christmas atmosphere any other day of the year!

"Surviving Christmas"

Tired of the customs associated with Christmas and New Year? What about being paid $250,000 to to celebrate a traditional Christmas Eve with an unknown person?

Enjoy watching these movies and have a very Merry Christmas!

LG 42LD550 LCD

No matter what movie is shown there is gradual degradation of dark degrees from side watching angles beginning at 40 degrees.

Display edges from high definition videos were crisp, clear and detailed. Black detail is great, looking greater in addition to darker compared to any telly set before, although even now exposing the necessary detail. Indeed, you give a price for the LG 42LD550 LCD television, but if you can take that extra cost, you will definitely be amply rewarded. We'd find it is very difficult to believe LG can find a replacement LCD with a staggering gap over the previous glorious selection; and, well, it has. LG's most recent collection of televisions are possibly the finest we'd ever noticed.

Display disturbance, even in the most problematic or smoky scenes, are suppressed effectively and textures for example skin tones persuade. The speakers work effectively, owning the power and quality youd assume given their cost. With less particular attention grabbing content, including some standard definition basketball broadcasts, the 42LD550 LCD does rather well. The popular 42LD550 from LG has the newest and perfect attributes which the manufacturer expects can continue LG rivalling with the Class 1 suppliers.

We feel the anti glare solutions launched into the TV display generates almost all the weakness complaints about coloring settings and also off perspective seeing. In motion, the LCDs display quality is just wonderful. Audio speakers feels strong as well, sounding crystal clear, balanced plus organized. It's not easy to provide a broadcast picture this size, but the LG 42LD550 LCD creates a solid stab. It is certainly largely free from noise and capable of producing precise, vivid images. Detail is definitely beautifully crisp and clean and well resolved despite fast action, and textures are exceedingly convincing. Darks turned into slightly hazy at side degrees however straight seem a good deal saturated.

No matter what movie is displayed discover low degradation of dark degrees as well as contrast from side viewing perspectives beginning at 5 degrees. Color details was rich yet no overpowering with Hi def films. The high resolution image by Blu Ray and also Broadcast HD was crystal clear, stunning and also amazing as at all times, however unfortunately the picture does not look as deep as several of the superior display we have watching of late. For a LCD even though, we're very impressed with all the 42LD550 LCD television abilities.

LG pronounces that customers quickly should be able to watch high resolution high grade video material at as much as 170 degree without having image failure. The high quality image looks good from regular observing distances (7 to 18 ft) and we barely witnessed image fading and additionally shade loss with probably the most intense observing angles. I loved the graphic quality quite from center and front and ended up being unable to detect the processing concerns the LCD exhibited in HQV tests. Commonly the particular LG42LD550 LCD definitely does deliver on its assurances.

LG indeed took a risk here with its design, and all of us realize they put companies resources in the right place. The remote control compliments the TV set by having an equally smooth, cool design. As the TV happens to be larger sized when compared with a typical LCD due to its built in canvas, the stand as well as frame placed surface of the canvas provide an incredibly modern border. We all appreciate the style and feel of the LG 42LD550 LCD television.

LA Weight Loss Secrets High Profile Personal Trainer shares the magic formula!

I know you may be fascinated with movie stars, but let me tell you they are just like you and I. They struggle with weight and motivation like we do. Here is what I have told some of the most famous people in the world and I will tell you the same:

In the early nineties I had the opportunity to work with some of the most famous movie stars in the world. As a manager and personal trainer for Kathy Smith and her health club, I experienced first hand the secrets to the stars. Here are a few things they did to look like they do:

1. They cross trained: They put variety into their workout plans.

2. They never ate a lot of white flour foods: Most of their foods came out of the ground. Mostly natural foods!

3. They were more concerned with their body fat levels than their weight: They concentrated more on the balance of muscle to fat, rather than their weight.

4. They did a lot of stretching: Palates and yoga was very popular.

5. They spent a lot of times out doors working out: You may be surprise at the number of people that are in better shape exercise more outdoors.

6. There diets consisted of herb and teas: A lot of natural foods were consumed.

7. They had outside help. Support systems, trainers and groups.

I know you may be fascinated with movie stars, but let me tell you they are just like you and I. They struggle with weight and motivation like we do. Here is what I have told some of the most famous people in the world and I will tell you the same:

Some of you will not like what I have to say, even though it is the truth. And that may be where the problem of Americans health problems lies. No one wants to give you the truth. My responsibility as a high profile fitness expert lies not in if you like me, or even if you buy my e books. My responsibility lies in giving you straight talk with no sugar coating it.

You want quick fixes to your health problem that has taken years to develop. You get it by purchasing gimmicks that promise you fast results. You fall for it, and at the end of the day you are more frustrated than every. Why? Because you are denying the root of your problems.

I have counseled thousands of people over my twenty year tender as a personal trainer, health club consultant and best selling author. And in all my travels, the answers to peoples problems with weight come down to one thing: its a matter of choice!

My approach with people is, either you pay a price now or you will pay a bigger price down the road. I am really tired of dancing around and trying to pat people on the back and say, Its OK you can do it. When all the while, most I know are in the least bit serious about their health, and have no idea what they are in for down the road.

If you are on the fence of whether or not to start an exercise and weight loss plan, I suggest you either become hot or cold. None of this luke warm stuff. You, America is on the verge of a health crisis. The longer you wait the more of chance you have of having a disease.

You also have a matter of choice on all these gimmicks out there. Dont waste your money on products that are not long lasting and do not teach you anything. I know you want fast results but you will just waste your money. Let me remind you, until you deal with your approach to weight loss the other is pie in the sky. Here are the keys to weight loss:

Determine HOW you are motivated

Determine the REASONS behind the unwanted behaviors.

Develop a great support system

Eat for fuel not for taste

Keep being active.

Sorry to be so blunt, but its time someone starts telling the truth no matter how hard it is to hear.

How the LED TV Lighting Works?

Because of the excellent movie experience due to its high definition images, LED TV is what everyone wants to have in their homes. Everybody having the LED TV is saying that it is the perfect television that theyve got, but did you bother know why?

What makes LED TV rise among other TV? Let us all explore the wonders behind the LED TV lighting making it the number one television.

The LED TV is actually a LCD TV that uses Light Emitting Diode backlighting technology rather than the ordinary lighting used by the LCD TV which is the fluorescent lights. The latest LED technology in every high definition TV marked a buzz. LED HDTV is known for its thinness and stunning real like images. The great advantage of the LED HDTV is the combination of the benefits you can get from Plasma TV and LCD TV using fluorescent lighting. We have known the downfall of LCD TV using a fluorescent lighting which it cannot project a deep black image and the plasma TV cannot bring bright images. But LED HDTV projects deep black similar to plasma TV and a brightness more than the LCD TV.

In the LED technology there is what we call EDGE LEDs with local dimming and Full LED Slim Lighting. Are you amazed by the slim television or mobile phones that most of your neighbor owns? With that impression then you are impress by the lights being used to light up those products. LEDs are widely known because of its cutting edge technology for being slim light emitting diodes. There are two basic components of EDGE LED; first is the light guide plate which is like a thin plastic sheet and the second is an LED module made up with a row of small white diodes used for lighting. What made up an HDTV are four rows of LED modules that are laid out on the top, bottom, right and left of the television panel. To avoid shading and misrepresentation of the colors being displayed, the lights are evenly distributed.

A bright glare is one problem that sometimes arouse when using Edge LED. There are visible reflections that can be detected on laptop computers, televisions or even on mobile phones, so the EDGE LED with local dimming has discovered. Through this local dimming you can already control the level of lighting used. Glare can disturb your eyes even with perfect images, with local dimming you can tone down the LED backlights. One advantage of LED is that it can conserve more energy; this is because of the electroluminescent process. This is a process of creating light simultaneously.

On the other hand the Full LED slim lighting which is now mostly used by HDTV allows you to bring a cinematic experience in your home because of its better image resolution, crisp quality of color and the perfect ratio of gamma and luminance.

If you are wondering why we have to know about this things, well simple because LED TV are more costly than other TV then you better have to choose an LED TV that suits your home.

I am fairly certain that Britta Wauers In Heaven, Underground may just be the most uplifting movie ever made about a cemetery. Lively (har har), charming, and gorgeously shot, this film details the history of Weiensee, the largest Jewish cemetery in Europe. Built in the 1850s in (East) Berlin, it has remained completely intact despite decades of war and chaos, and is in fact one of the few Jewish institutions to be left untouched by the Nazis despite its proximity to the heart of the German capital.
Watch In Heaven, Underground Movie 2011 Online
The site itself is one of breathtaking beauty, as thick, lush foliage creates a green canopy over the grounds and camouflages the sometimes crumbling headstones. Wauer brings the grounds to life with detailed and vivid photography that highlights the cemeterys place as both a place of great spiritual and emotional importance, but also as a sort of living thing unto itself. Over the course of the film we come to see Weiensee as more character than place its sprawling grounds reveal personality, history and form of self-propagating resilience that allows the cemetery to in turn grow, change and heal.

This character of the cemetery wraps around the lives and histories of the many people that it touches and houses, as well as those who maintain it. The community of people that coalesce around it are committed to its survival, and also to its well-being. I dont know much about cemeteries in general, but I cant imagine that there are many others that have such a large group of people working so fervently on the restoration of monuments, the continued preservation of plants and animals, and upholding basic integrity of a single cemetery site. Most seem to fall into states of fairly serious neglect their monuments crumbled, their grounds unkempt and ugly. Here we see a genuine community formed around the spirit of Weiensee, an important cultural and emotional institution with a long history of service and community engagement.

Shifting from archival footage and vintage photographs to interviews with the various employees, volunteers and families that make up the Weiensee community, In Heaven, Underground is a subtle but touching portrait of a space that both evolves and remains timeless. Almost like a sort of bubble within a hectic city, Weiensee seems to act independently of its surroundings, growing and changing constantly, in its own self-contained way. Its history keeps it grounded while its spirit keeps it moving. The film is testament to the power of its character and is a fascinating study in the relationships that people develop with spaces. Interviews reveal powerful attachments to Weiensee ranging from troubled and tragic, to sentimental and joyful. Of course, with over 150 years and over 100,000 graves, the surface is merely scratched over the course of the film, however, the perspectives that we are presented serve to pique our curiosity and heighten the mystique of the place. That there is so much more happening here that is unseen only furthers the cemeterys character.

Of course, it is Wauers thoughtful direction and the salt-of-the-earth charm of her subjects that make this film so watchable. From a wisecracking old rabbi to a deeply reverent Gentile security guard, In Heaven, Underground is bursting with countless little narratives that wrap themselves around the larger story of a space that persists.

Dora Movie Review and Rating

Release date : July 01st, 2016

Rating : 2.25/5

Director : Dharani Dharan

Producer : Jawaharbabu Jakkam

Music Director : Siddharth Vipin

Starring : Sathyaraj, Sibiraj, Bindu Madhavi

Story:

For centuries, a unique palace in a village called Dorapuram was haunted by ghosts. The police officer Satya (Sibiraj) is sent on a mission to discover the truth behind this. When Satya reached Dorapuram and starts looking for clues, he became Viji friendship (Bindu Madhavi) and falls for her. Viji's cousin Veera (Karunakaran) is also in love with Viji and wants to marry her too. When Satya request Viji's father to marry his daughter, he challenges Satya and Veera to survive seven days in the haunted bungalow. Satya and Veera move into the bungalow and start experiencing paranormal activity immediately. Is Satya and Veera survive these seven days? What is the reason behind these paranormal events? How Satyaraj related to all this? These questions form the heart of the story.

Plus Points:-

Dora the greatest asset is the comedy that is infused into the film. Comedy is the only point of the film, and he gets past few chuckles.Sibiraj is strictly average. Satyaraj tries his best within his badly burned role. Bindhu Madhavi is just OK in a character that is unclear. Karunakaran actor takes the icing his comic timing is surprisingly entertaining. The film has a unique concept, and policy makers must be assessed to try something that is out-of-the-box. The episode pre-interval is the climax of the film.

Minus Points:-

The biggest disappointment of Dora is the concept itself. While this sounds impressive on paper, the director has completely failed to properly translate to the big screen. The film lacks clarity and gets stuck trying to be an infusion between horror and comedy. The reason behind the challenge and obsession is poorly explained. The second half is also a brake and bored the audience much time. The film also takes time to get the rolling of real history. History is full of gaps that are simply ignored. The flashback episode messes up the flow of the film. The running time was reduced considerably. The film is also an abrupt end and fails to explain the free ends.

Technical Aspects:-

The values of the production of the film are strictly average. Background music by Siddharth Vipin is mediocre at best. Publishing is a let-down. Working the camera is acceptable. Dialogues are just average.Coming to director Dharani Dharan, it should be noted that he chose a unique concept, it fails to make the most of the opportunity. It seemed that Dharani could not decide between a horror movie or comedy and adds all he could. The film lacks clarity and is scrambled in a big mess when it reached its climax. A more logical story line with own sensations could have entertaining film.

Verdict:-

Overall, Dora is a poorly executed film. The cross between horror and comedy is improper and it is clearly seen on the big screen. Although some comic scenes are entertaining, the rest of the film is pell-mell into a big mess and can be ignored this weekend.
