Story: -

Kamala Rani (Archana) is a typical girl call from the 1950s, who leads a depressed and lonely life. She often takes to herself and dreams that his empty life would be filled by an honest man who will only love of his soul, not his body. One day, she receives a visitor in the form of Suryanarayana (Sivaji), who comes to his home after being stuck in a heavy rain. Kamala begins to behave in a way of thinking that it is one among the many who came to her.
Suryanarayana confronts Kamala it is not after his body, but came here to meet his childhood friend. The two of them start talking the lives of others and soon fall in love.
The next morning, Suri Kamala promises he get her out of his depressed life and even marry her once he finishes his work on hold ..Does the couple happily settled? Does the past Kamala haunt his trip? For answers to these questions, you need to watch this movie on the big screen.

Plus Points: -

The way this film was set in the 1950s is quite interesting. Story idea of the film is simple, and the film way moving forward with only three characters is wonderful.Archana performance as Kamala is quite good. Although it starts on a rustic note, it takes up very well after the first half. Human values and the tender emotions that are missing in today's films were well captured.Second half of the film is where the tempo builds up and the story starts to get interesting. Last twenty minutes and how the pain, anguish and disbelief are presented is convincing. Chemistry between Sivaji and Archana is also good.

Minus Points: -

Although Sivaji plays a central role in the film, he tries too hard to make his character look real. It looks quite rigid air, and it could have been normal, its role would have been more convincing. As expected, the pace of the film is slow death. Do not go into this movie expect entertainment. This is a hardcore movie art house that is for its target audience and film festivals. The songs are a greater disadvantage for the film. They affect the flow of the film, and come in breeze-speed. Some scenes from the first half unclear, and the entire first half just moves at the speed of a snail.Once the second half picks up, the film becomes predictable and one can easily assess what will happen next.

Technical aspects:-

Technically, the film is brilliant. Set beautifully in the 50s, not once you get the feeling that it is shot in 2014. The camerawork is absolutely brilliant, and enhance rural culture and greenery in a very ethnic way.As mentioned above, the songs are disappointing, and even those that are hampering the run time of the film. Director Narsimha Nandi would have made the movie crispy omitting unnecessary songs in the film.screenplay is quite good, but some scenes like love having them could be ignored. Dialogues are simple and neat. Installation is pretty good, and art direction requires a special mention.Rather than create sets of false and time lines, officials went in real locations makes this movie look bright.

Verdict:-

Overall, Kamala Tho Naa Prayanam is a brave effort in this day and age. All who seek entertainment, can stay away, and for those who do not mind the slow pace and are interested in watching the direction of cinema can give it a shot.Kamalatho Naa Prayanam Telugu Movie Review and Rating

Thrive Movie Review by Edgardo

In the last two thirds of the movie, controversial topics (some political) come up. Both branches of the political orthodoxy in America will be outraged. Foster Gamble has been an insider. He doesn't hide the photos of himself as a young man hobnobbing with presidents and other elites.

As a documentary "Thrive" is one of the most exquisitely produced documentary films I have ever seen. Production is Hollywood Studio Quality, and the issues it raises have never really ever been formatted in such an attractive manner.

Foster Gamble and his wife Kimberley have put together this multi-million dollar documentary using in major part their own money. Foster happens to be the great-great- grandson of James Gamble. Yes, the co-founder, along with Proctor of one of the worlds largest companies, Proctor and Gamble. This has, of course raised a few eyebrows among some of the less trustworthy sort, but as for myself, I believe in giving an individual a chance to prove himself, and set the record by his own actions and beliefs. And so far there seems to be no discernible flaw in this movie. For example, Alex Jones, well recognized as perhaps the king of alternative news and information, exposer of government, official , corporate and global corruption is selling the movie on infowars.com. Foster Gamble has been an insider. He doesn't hide the photos of himself as a young man hobnobbing with presidents and other elites.

The documentary starts in ancient history and correlates the synchronicity of different civilizations from all over the world in regard to alien life forms, so-called Gods of the sky, and energy sources that involve sacred geometry and what is called a "Torus"(a universal energetic form involving space and time) and how this can unlock to provide free energy. This only lasts for the first part; there is much more to come with a screen time of over two hours. The crop circle segment is especially beautifully presented. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, Nassien Harimein, and also a former head investigator of the FAA and many others, appear to substantiate UFO's, crop circles and apparent alien attempts at contact. And "Thrive" exposes some of the enormity of the cover up operations that are still ongoing in all these areas

One thing that commends the movie to me, is the utterly predicable reaction that the orthodox left and orthodox right wing reaction has had to the film. In the last two thirds of the movie, controversial topics (some political) come up. Both branches of the political orthodoxy in America will be outraged. If the Kool-Aid drinkers at the extremes of conventional orthodoxy don't like something, well there's no higher commendation than that! The conventional left will not like the stand on global warming, and low taxes and personal liberty and the right will not like the exposition of the Federal Reserve and the financial shenanigans of the international bankers.

The film is sure to raise hackles as well for exposing the medical system and big pharma, and the rapacious health system it propagates. Cures and treatments have been suppressed? Interviews with Deepak Chopra and other luminaries of the alternative and complementary health world follow.
