What is this happened? What to do with Shivudu Mahishmati? Shivudu is in real life. For answers to these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.

Plus Points: -

As you start looking Baahubali, one thing that strikes you instantly is the magnitude of this magnum opus. The extravagant sets, spectacular visuals and scale was not presented in an Indian film before. We can not hesitate to praise the Rajamouli think something as huge and also run on such a gigantic scale. The sequences of war and how they were executed are in true Hollywood style.Prabhas is great in a dual role and is the smart choice that Baahubali. No one except him could have done justice to the role that is larger than life and has many heroic moments. His presence at the screen and pure emotional performance will immensely loved by his fans. As expected, Rana is threatening the villain Bhalaladeva. This is a dream role for him and he gives a first class performance as the villain. It is quite surprising to see the amount of detail that has gone into every aspect of the film. What catches your attention right away are the wonderful visual effects. There are some scenes in the film which will just leave you spell bound. Tamanna is beautiful as Avantika and plays its role.Ramya Krishna is elegant Shivagami and that brings a lot of depth to the film. Nasser and Satyaraj fully play their role. Second half of the film has a lot of emotions that elevate the film to another level.

Negative points: -

The story line of Baahubali is quite common and predictable. The actual film kick starts only in the second half and ends abruptly that might leave you a little unhappy. Anushka is nothing to do in the movie as his character is revealed that in the second part. Some war sequences were dragged and could have been trimmed to reduce the execution time. There is so much hype surrounding the film that certain undesirable side songs follows the film. The romance between Prabhas and Tamanna also seems exaggerated at times.

Technical aspects:-

Where do I start from this section. Baahubali is by far the most technically brilliant film that came out of Indian cinema. Each image in the film is pure magic. Games, graphics and VFX work are just out of this world. It must be really proud of these great visuals especially in a Telugu film. The music is good but the background score could have been better.
Next in line is the meaning of art. Sabu Cyril has done a wonderful job with the games. Whether the palace games, near Kingdom or war equipment, everything looks impressive. The camera work is amazing Senthil Kumar. His impressive visuals are nicely complimented by the stunning VFX. The waterfall scenes and shots during the fight sequence with Kaalakeya were executed brilliantly. How Rajamouli conceptualized the visuals will be a learning lesson for an aspiring filmmakers generation. Although the scenario Rajamouli dips a little here and there, his larger than life approach is what makes this film a visual treat.

Verdict:-

Overall, Baahubali is a film that any fan of Indian cinema can be extremely proud off. Soon to tell, this visual extravaganza treats you to some never seen in Indian films elements. Prabhas superb avatar that Baahubali, the brilliant art for some visual effects lining eyes, this film has it all. Director Rajamouli Genius, should be welcomed and supported for his dedication to taking Telugu cinema to the next level. Finally, if you ignore the predictable script and keep your expectations in check, Baahubali is bound to entertain you much time.
